So, lets get a vote put up for the following naming conventions:

1. "ceebits" (cBTC) / "embits"  (mBTC) / "mybits"  (µBTC)
2. "centi-bit" (cBTC) / "milli-bit"   (mBTC) / "micro-bit" µBTC / "satoshi"  (sBTC)
3. "cents" (cBTC) / "mills"  (mBTC) / "mics" µBTC / "sats (satoshis)"  (sBTC)

Or will this all need a seperate thread of its own?

Also a technological breakthrough that would make new quantum computers able to crack bitcoin would crash it's value to about zero.

i think were at like 8 qu-bit (quantum bit? ) computing.. that lasts hours..and im not sure if thats just data storage. To say were going to hear news of a 32000 qubit computer any time soon seems unlikely.. I believe that was the power required to crack the sha 256...however to some this was more likely then bitcoin being a 1000$usd lol

There are a few threads on the quantum computing issue worth looking through. I hadn't found them, so started https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=208147.msg2179677#msg2179677

Anyway, apparently it's not actually a serious problem that couldn't be fixed

Of course it is unlikely and would require a major breakthrough. I certainly do hope that it is highly unlikely! But breakthroughs do happen in technology. The greatest threat to a technology based currency is technology's progress itself.

Those are the US folks willing to cash out. Right now Gox is where the big money that wants in is - just watch the news, all the financial media quote the Gox price, and there is were the big boys go - to buy BTC, not Goxbux. On the contrary, the US guys that want out go to Bitstamp, there's no other choice apart from OTC.

When the $1k barrier is broken on Stamp all the hell will break loose.

What about Coinbase?

I thought there were limits at coinbase - can you sell 1,000 coins on Coinbase?

50 per day.

I propose a new vote:

Will Bitcoin trade at mBTC1 = $2 by 2013-12-31 23:59 UTC?

Or do we need to have a vote on what to vote on?
