Enough with the voodoo and doing lines off a chart. It would be much more effective to do some digging and find out fundamentals like:
1. Is huobi legit and not a fake pump with mostly fake volume. 2. How many actual btc are entering huobi and getting bought up by new investors. 3. How much new fiat is entering chinese exchanges. 4. If/when the Chinese government will crack down on the latest evasion of their rules.
By the way litecoin is coincidentally being pumped starting last night, due to sudden volume on okcoin, a chinese exchange which has been found to have fake volume...
1. why would they be? 2. don't know, see 1. 3. same as 2. 4. probably in a week or so

As a dual-use bitcoiner, I have mixed emotions about the news/fud about the Chinese markets. From the mining income perspective, I'd like to see stability with modest growth and not the wildly unpredictable changes we've experienced lately. From a day trader perspective, I have to have swings to trade. I like to view the colorful graphs that many of you produce. As a card-carrying member of the human race, I like to form patterns that may, or may not, contain information that is useful. I don't envy you long-term traders. I can't imagine trying to get a useful jump on the long term trends. That sort of mental gymnastics would soon drive me to drinking.

The last month was one of the best months I have ever had since I started day trading 2 years ago. I honestly need a new choo choo on a very bendy railroad track

I love it when my own buys make a noticeable candle, pushing it above some interesting price point. (only on Bitstamp, so less volume is needed, but still feels good )

stamp has broken that dreaded 666 resistance. If it has enough power to pull gox above 710 substantially we could be looking at something with legs.
Once volatility alarms or other triggers start calling people from turkey tables to trading stations, there could be some christmas fun in this for us.

chart looking pretty darn bullish (short term at least)
EDIT: the buildup from last few days looks bullish, but we have some resistance here from the downward tops since peak.
