On a more serious note, I never used an AV since the mid 90s and never catched anything, so I can't advise.
AV's give some false sense of security, more or less a digital snake oil. But most/all catch only a fraction of the nasties out there while massively invading your privacy.
I still have a few hundred samples that kiddies dropped on my honeypot ~5yrs ago and you need at least a dozen different AV products to detect over 90% of them.
But if you are happy if every link you get by email or in web sites that is looking suspicious to an AI is fetched by an AWS* instance to be run through a malware detonation chamber and most certainly getting archived, MS Defender is probably fine for you. Though I'd strongly advise against using such a computer for dealing with your crypto moneys (because, umm, somebody is randomly clicking links on your behalf).
* Yes, MS is using Amazon not Azure for this, they think they can outsmart the bad guys this way *lol* - bad guys have IP lists of all these instances from most AVs.
1st thing i do in any AV is uncheck any stuff that submits code samples to the AV company. who knows what may be in that chunk of code from your system. keys? passwords? or?

Honest thought: There is something wrong with me.
I'm now watching the US death count for coronovirus and saying the same things I do when watching the bitcoin price.
"Stuck at 7152 all night, comeon: DO SOMETHING".
This is bad.

In the Great Depression, bankers lost their jobs. Some committed suicide. In this Depression 2.0, bankers get bailouts and raises. Rewarded for their shitty investment strategies.

He's currently dining out on hamburgers. He'll realise you're the steak at home eventually and come crawling back. It'll be your move then.

Don’t make a meta from the WO #staysafe Mic, are you buying Merit’s? 21 for this post I’m kidding, it was probably just sexual favours. #somehomo This is a meta post on someone asking not to do a meta post. So I am doing a meta on the person seconding the not meta request! This is the second highest ever merits number distributed ever by @bitebits according to[ url=http://loyce.club/Merit/history/305983.html]LoyceV full merit history[/url]: he once gave 40 merits to The Last of the V8s for this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg36062664#msg36062664

Haha, everybody wants to nibble on chicken nuggets every now & again even if they’ve got prime steak at home. I’m going to have to seduce him so I’m his next conquest when his bags are full

My first post in the thread was right when everything was turning to shit in November 2018, thanks to the BCash Civil War. Reading this thread right now is like watching Statler and Waldorf narrate the apocalypse. Glad to be here. And I got my first WO merit from Bob. Thanks Bob! (not a +1 WOmerit, but actual merit)
