When I read such things, I wonder how some people can still believe in the fiat system.

The moment the COVID-19 pandemic slows down and we're globally in control of the virus, is the time BTC will begin its mega-pump. I'm expecting 5-digit values soon, even an ATH within the year.
I can't prove this of course, it's a SOMA prediction, as are all predictions.

I have the same feeling as you. Once the economic crisis is well established, the price of Bitcoin will rise sharply. This crisis comes at the best of times for Bitcoin since its Halving is just 35 days away now.

I am pretty sure that in recent weeks I had come across a term that describes a kind of poetic justice that occurs when someone becomes a victim of the very thing that s/he has been denying to exist. Boris Johnson has already become that, but I cannot remember the term.. or if we need to create a term. New research obsession of mine to find the right descriptor (or meme or whatever will accurately describe such phenomena and several people are coming to realize that those invisible lil thingies, aka viruses, can be a "real" force to be reckoned with). Even when someone is a denier, we can still feel some passion for the human side of severe illness and perhaps succumbing to death when they become the victim, even though their prior arrogance can be challenging of such sympathies, too, as shown in this article, including a video from Johnson, too. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-03-28/johnson-s-war-with-coronavirus-is-no-joke-anymoreThe below article about Landon Spradlin deals with coronavirus deniers becoming victims, too. https://foreignpolicy.com/2020/04/02/landon-spradlin-coronavirus-pandemic-death-punchline/ I'd like to point out that there is a difference between denying the existence of Covid-19 and using a more restrained approach than shutting down your economy and paying people not to work in order to control the spread of the virus. Many of us in the free world don't take kindly to being imprisoned even if it might be in our own best interest. Don't forget that Boris just weeks ago finished wresting Britain from the clutches of that bureaucratic behemoth - The European Empire Mash-up Union.

South Korea: no second wave, no lockdown. Now you can put a value/price on having a leader with a brain. Cool!

Check out this graph from JP Morgan: This is based partially on the second wave emerging in China. Are we going to keep doing these lockdowns every couple of months until a vaccine arrives? South Korea: no second wave, no lockdown. Hang on. They've yet to reopen the schools.

Good morning Bitcoinland. I see we're still over $7k and creeping upward... currently $7407USD/$10350CAD (Bitcoinaverage). Onward and upward... go Bitcoin go. Thanx Marcus. What a what to start my day. The guy thinks so much the way I do, it's scary. Every time the interviewer asked a clueless question, he calmly answered it clearly and logically. He has his priorities straight. One thing I couldn't help but notice was that the interviewer kept mentioning and asking about Ethereum and "Crypto" but his answers were always strictly about Bitcoin. The guy gets it. My favorite snippet... comparing Bitcoin's volatility to sealegs... after a while you don't even notice the tossing of the waves. People would do well to listen to what he considers wealth... friends, family and health. As he says, that nice-looking watch won't seem so important on your deathbed. He also realizes that there's a huge difference between not having enough money and having enough, while the difference between having enough and being rich isn't all that much. He also realizes that if you're doing what you love, you're already retired. I figured that out in 1976. Thanks again for bringing that ray of sunshine to my day. I'll be sending the link to many.

Annd I am up to $1k with my crypto portfolio. Just a small starting step. Hopefully these steps will stay small so I won't make the same mistake again. I am also not going to look at the charts or post TA again. TA is over for me.

First Mover: Bitcoin’s Back in the Black for 2020Bitcoin traders are used to the mood swings that come with extreme price volatility. They were elated when prices shot up 30 percent in January, the best start to a year since 2013. They were alarmed and unsettled when the spread of the coronavirus sent prices for the oldest and largest cryptocurrency plunging as low as $3,850 in early March from about $10,200 just a month earlier.
Now, volatility is returning in a positive way, prices are going up, and enthusiasm is returning to digital-asset markets. Bitcoin has nearly doubled since hitting the March low, and a 7.8 percent rally on Monday brought the cryptocurrency back into the black for 2020. As of early Tuesday, prices were up 4.25 percent on a year-to-date basis. https://www.coindesk.com/first-mover-bitcoins-back-in-the-black-for-2020
