Watching $48,500. If we go over that decisively, it seems the correction is over.

Bitcoin finally broke $47,500-47,700 resistance zone and made support above it. Next resistance level to keep an eye on is at 49,600-$51,000

Elwar has already said, he's not touching his corns for at least another 4 years. He can surely wait a couple of years. Might even be wise to cash out one corn next year at whatever price it's at if it's above 100k, just to add to fiat reserves for normal life purposes.

In trad-fi, people like to have "emergency savings" of at least 6 months. 6 months is the minimum. I have read blogs or article about people having 5 years sitting as cash, not invested at all. And these are trad-fi FIRE types who can only count on 4% safe withdrawal rates.

Many of us should be in a lot better position, but again, many of us are also all-in BTC, so ... drops happens and some panic. The diamond hands buy the dip.

but but muh maths and sciences.. im not done panic buying yet!

Don't worry about math & science. They've been taken care of by the Proud Honey.

Picture of why I consider $48,500 important:

that's what i also thought at first (that it it is a female reference), but then i found this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre-Joseph_Proudhon

Basically, he is a "father" of individual and/or social anarchism.
Take is with whatever grain of salt, but this individual (with the same nick) has been on the btctalk for ages, which makes his comments most likely a satire.
However, Proudhon philosophy differs from the cypherpunks as explained by T. May.

Man, this is ridiculous. You had literally years to buy BTC under $10k. Where have you been?

I would say that the answer is very simple, all those who dream of $10 000 today, wake up from some deep sleep only when the price of BTC skyrocket, and when they are honestly hit by FOMO. They are nowhere near people who believe in Bitcoin, but they are not even intelligent enough to believe in long-term profits. If I were to tell you that at the moment about 40% of those who are in some way involved with BTC are not happy with the price, I think that best speaks to how many of these so-called sleepers we have.

I started one thread with poll on that topic - it will be interesting to see the results in 7 days.

Your lil survey is already skewed towards 100% good.. so either there is a problem with your survey method, or your estimate about 40% being unhappy is wrong... .. or maybe in a bearmarket, you might get those kinds of 40% unhappy results.. who knows.. seems to be a kind of moving target (and perhaps unreliable) to be attempting to be assessing sentiments.. especially on a short-term or snap-shot basis.. with one binary question that does not ask any other questions about the person.

E-commerce giant Rakuten now lets users shop with Cryptocurrency.

https://www.coindesk.com/e-commerce-giant-rakuten-now-lets-users-shop-with-cryptocurrency

A "racket" is a dishonest or deceptive, moneymaking scheme and that was the first thing that came to mind when I heard the name Rakuten.  Yeah I know it's a Japanese word but I think it wasn't well though out for a global marketplace and even if they are accepting bitcoin, I'm taking a pass.  It reminds me of Sam&Ella's Chicken Palace and likewise, if they begin accepting bitcoin, I'm not going there.
