Bank of America published the first chart back in 2018 claiming "bubble has popped". Today, we fixed the data for them:

When observing such things, one should really examine how the "happiness" is measured. More often than not, it's agenda driven with metrics of "social justice" and "nationalized healthcare" rather than attempting to measure the subjective happiness of countries' citizens directly.

True, you need to know how they define "happiness" if it's gonna make any sense.

Or, it could just be that we are happy because we are the master race.

Oh for crying out loud, I'm just kidding, stop steaming JJG.
Or am I?

I will give you a hint what I think of this list.

This is almost the same list as if you ranked "The top 10 western socialist countries".  So either socialism makes you happy... or someone wants us to think it does.

Also, some of these countries have very high suicide rates.

Evidently it's a hard job being the master race.

No it's not particularly hard.

And none of the countries are socialist countries, they are all western democracies.

And none of the countries have a particularly high suicide rate, pretty average actually.

quantum computer impacts are getting closer: https://arxiv.org/abs/2103.06159

Factoring 2048 RSA integers in 177 days with 13436 qubits and a multimode memory

Caution: They did not build such a computer or even factorize anything with it. They just proposed an architecture and calculated how effective it would be if someone could build it.

So this is no reason to panic, but it feels like the impacts are getting closer.

I think it's the very same guy who is (or was) bidding on Elon musk's NFT.

Totally off-topic:

I've recently discovered the following YouTube channel:

Soft White Underbelly

Some very powerful interviews there, from people on the fringes of society. Well worth checking out.

Oh god, one of my very favourite ones, too.
"Gummo - the hacker" is imho the best i can remember. And the guy with the hole shot in his face. Deep stuff.

FYI: with higher btc prices the whale category has been re-calibrated to above 100btc, which makes sense due to a comparison between >100btc holders and overall number of whales. Above 1000 btc is probably a blue whale.
https://ccnews24.net/bitcoin-whales-100-to-1k-btc-increased-their-holdings-from-december-2020-by-331k-btc/

Well, the rest of the article (apart from the heading) still shows old denominations that look incorrect to me (by the species preponderance).

Elon is that you?

I see a lot of folks wondering if it is Musk, or Saylor, and although those are great, I would MUCH rather see it be a purchase by some other entity.  Those guys will look like us spiral eyed loons as they keep buying... but if it's GOOG or APPL or something... whee!

It's a hard job being "happy" too..

As soon as there is any slight downward trend in the feelings of happiness, suicide happens, in order to keep up the average level of "happy."

There are likely a lot of happy endings in those places, too.

I have a serious question how these entities are able to withdraw tens of 1000s of BTC is single go when normal users have limits from 1BTC to 100BTC Max.
And that’s after f*cking annoying KYC. Take naked pics with your driving license one hand and hand written note on other hand.

Are you kidding? The limit is only up to the point of how much you hold and can realistically move. If they own 10K btc, why would there be a limit of 100 btc?
