Someone(s) is really interested in making it seem like Bitcoin is worth almost exactly 60k.

Same people that thought it was only worth $9k.

Here’s the link to the original post
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3742.0

It’s interesting to read since it’s from 2011 and in 10 years Bitcoin is already being traded all over the world. But Bitcoin is not going to replace any country’s economy for sure. Bitcoin is a store of value not a type of cash to replace daily transactions like if you buy a coffee you wont be using Bitcoin. That’s why I read many people here on WO said buying a Tesla with Bitcoin today would be same as buying pizza with Bitcoins. When you use Bitcoin to buy Tesla in reality it’s Elon Musk who’s buying Bitcoin with Tesla.

Bingo, you nailed it.

Look how hard that PayPal, Tesla, and soon other companies are working to now suddenly offer more ways for Average Joe to directly spend their bitcoin? They think bitcoin users desperately want that, because that's what those users dreamed of in the beginning---using bitcoin as a direct currency. But now bitcoin users are becoming wary of spending their bitcoin on "depreciating stuff". Companies want your valuable bitcoin asset, and want to give you "stuff" in return. That's because they know that a) bitcoin is still way undervalued, and b) bitcoin is far more valuable than the "stuff" they're selling you.

Plus as a U.S. citizen, I don't even get it. I would still have to pay capital gains tax on my bitcoin, whether I spent it directly on stuff, or sold it first and paid with the fiat. So why bother spending it directly at all? I have a digital fiat account for that. By taxing gains on directly spent bitcoin transactions, the U.S. has made a ginormous mistake...by inadvertently creating more diamond hand hodlers.

I took the extended graph from this article - https://medium.com/quantodian-publications/when-moon-rational-growth-ranges-for-bitcoin-ffaa94c9d484 (The author is https://twitter.com/InTheLoopBTC)
This post was from Sept 2019 so I added a couple of price points (the red vertical line indicates where the graph stopped previously) and connected the points (using straight lines not best fit).   I also connect some key dates and levels and added some log lines between $100k and $1mill to make it easier to visualize.   The purple star is the approximate theoretical max on a very theoretical date this cycle (I just used the previous cycle length) but we have exceeded the theoretical max previously as you can see.  So many caveats - I guess this is more art than science.  Just trying to help myself to visualize the hopium.  Go BITCOIN!

More likely there is no real news to report. When you're posting things from the Gov of a cum dumpster state like South Dakota yoiu know it's a slow news day....

$1 million by 2040 only according to that graph?

Don't think I can wait that long.

What is it with that fucking liar Pinocchio Mark Rutte in The Netherlands still clinging on as prime minister btw?!
Debating well beyond their own pathetic curfew time and he still stays. 10 years on the job and still wants more. Ridiculous.

10 Covid 19 deaths registered since yesterday in the UK. That's less than 0.7% of total deaths in a day.
People protesting in favour of killing the police around the country.
Time to end this lockdown shite, get people back to work and stuff your vaccine passport up your ass whilst at it.

We should have been allowed to do what the hell we wanted this Easter, especially the BitcoinBunny.

I don't know if it is bad or good, but this is a day with a very low volume (like 2x-8x lower than the average daily in the last months):
Bitstamp BTC/USD daily volume: 1.32K BTC
Coinbase BTC/USD daily volume: 6.18K BTC
Binance BTC/USD daily volume: 38.5K BTC

Dude, it’s a holiday period. It’s bound to reflect in the volume, people aren’t back at work until Tuesday.

Seconded.
Feels like silence before the storm when i look at the charts.
"Shitcoin season" is currently shilled on twitter, which is probably unrelated.

EDIT: I'm good with that (possible) bull flag, though.
