Shit. Forgot I had a few orders left. Just got filled at $58.5k.
Not the worst thing that might happen, no?
I suggest you were awaiting lower buys?

Saw some stuff wavering yesterday, and figured I should set some orders all the way down to $57k just incase.

I suppose there are worse problems to have, to your point...

Actually it was more irony than sarcasm, but yeah  Smiley
I had an extremely tense day today, don't even know why, but i was feeling angry since waking up.
This negativity seems to influence my wording quite a bit. Shit happens, sry dude.

EDIT: BTC now being pulled down quite constantly. Finally $57.xxx retest? I'd welcome Gyrsur's Fib analysis now...

Enjoy.

I like that movie very much.
The original was piss poor.

Shows what a difference, better editing, colour gradients and music can make.

The context is completely different.

In the original I thought Superman's resurrection was some bizarre Frankenstein thing.

Seemed much more heartfelt.
Flash's rescue scene was superb.
Cyborg's story was good.
Maybe it's just me but it seemed sort of racist that along with the rescue of Flash's girl were cut out in the original.

This version however is just good stuff. Shame about the 4:3 ratio though.

8/10

Hated Endgame btw (2/10) Loved Infinity War (9/10)

Has this thread become slower or is it just an Easter slowdown?

When I post, sometimes it appears to not work or go real slow indeed but then Google Chrome has become a CPU hogging bastard these days. Not sure it is the site or whatever.

Oh I meant the amount of posts compared what it used to be about 2y ago or so Smiley

Then I had 4-5 pages overnight, now it was just one.

Must be the Easter.

EDIT: Or maybe I'm just bored, time to play around with some shitcoins  Grin

Go back and read the thread from the beginning.. or maybe at least the posts that you missed in the last year or two.. that should keep you MOAR busy... if busy is what you want.

I took the extended graph from this article - https://medium.com/quantodian-publications/when-moon-rational-growth-ranges-for-bitcoin-ffaa94c9d484 (The author is https://twitter.com/InTheLoopBTC)
This post was from Sept 2019 so I added a couple of price points (the red vertical line indicates where the graph stopped previously) and connected the points (using straight lines not best fit).   I also connect some key dates and levels and added some log lines between $100k and $1mill to make it easier to visualize.   The purple star is the approximate theoretical max on a very theoretical date this cycle (I just used the previous cycle length) but we have exceeded the theoretical max previously as you can see.  So many caveats - I guess this is more art than science.  Just trying to help myself to visualize the hopium.  Go BITCOIN!

For some strange reason, the whole chart (and your extension of the visuals and implicitly the logic, too) is coming off as a wee bit too bearish in terms of the theoretical maximum upside for this cycle which seems to fall below $200k by the end of the year... and would not even allow for a double cycle that might end up playing out longer into 1st or 2nd Qtr 2022 and bring BTC prices to $500k, $1million or $1.5million for this cycle, which truly seems to be a more realistic "theoretical" upside from my humble bumble and limited SOMAtm thinking as has been labelled by some peeps.. (looking at you d_eddie) - and perhaps there are some starting out with an inadequate foundation problems in the model and the extension of the model?

I appreciate your recognition, homer, that theoretical maximums have been exceeded in the past, so I believe that your criticism of the model should be stronger in terms that it likely got the theoretical maximums wrong.. In my humble bumble thinking, theoretical maximums should be so damned high that they are reachable but they are NOT very likely to even come close to being reached in the real world, so if theoretical maximums are either easily reached or exceeded, then something truly seems to be wrong with the model, no?

I'm with El duderino on this. I'd even push my max shake estimate down to ~55k: that was the level of semi-hard support during the last pushes down... until it wasn't, and she fell in the low 50s.

I doubt the low 50s are doable today, even with max bear effort, but this is a specially long "weekend"! Fiat movements are seriously impaired, so they might try some extra fuckery late on Sunday too. Let them have their fun, we're ready to fill our hodler bags right?

More likely there is no real news to report. When you're posting things from the Gov of a cum dumpster state like South Dakota yoiu know it's a slow news day....

Sideways with an upwards drift while very nice becomes boring.

NOT meaning to harass or troll you too much, philip pilup, but you have been proclaiming some variation of this gradual sloppening up situation for about the past 6 months.. .not that I am counting.

Accordingly, I would hardly characterize around a 6x price appreciation to have been upwardly drifting with a slant.. but hey, whatevers (you bear).
 Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue

The next 24 hours are critical, trust me.

V8, if you read this, I miss your engine revving here.  Roll Eyes

V8 is dead.. although some folks have asserted that V8 is fine and well.. but hey, until we see/hear this from V8 him lil selfie, he be ded.. just like Lauda (although Lauda proclaimed her death in advance and V8 merely said that he would be "away for a while").

A short bitcoin success story:

Sold enough and diversified so that I can ride out the next crash (and buy the dip of course).

HODLing a even more ...

and coming to realize, we are in fact, gentleman.

Regards all....

Sigg.

We should have been allowed to do what the hell we wanted this Easter, especially the BitcoinBunny.

Well, that's a good point.

It's not like we have very many holidays (or any other days of the year) in which bunnies are actually appreciated.

what do yall guess on shake margins today?

Huh?  Relevance?

Imho

Final 56-57ish short dump before April pump month continues

Sorry to give away too much.. and yeah, I have gravitated towards playing wider and wider gaps these days (referring to percentages between sell orders and buy orders), so BTC price has to dip into the $54ks before starting to get close to triggering the first buy orders...

In other words, it remains more and more difficult to get too excited by BTC price moves that are NOT getting close to triggering any orders on either end (buy or sell)... but NOTHING really new about that.

Even in the earlier days of let's say 2016 and 2017, there were periods of time (even though the BTC price direction was mostly UPpity) in which my orders were not triggered in either direction for very long periods of time (weeks and sometimes approaching months, if I recall correctly), even though the percentage of my gaps were quite a bit smaller than they are today.. today my gaps are around 10%, but probably in 2016 and 2017 (would need to look at my records more closely) my gaps were closer to 5% (between buys and sells).

In the beginning of your post d_eddie, I was getting the impression that we NOT be going below $55k - but then when I gots my lil selfie to the end of your post, I was getting the impression that there is a chance.

Not intending to be overly petty, but in this context of BTC prices bouncing around at the top of the range and close to the ATH.. I am not sure if I would characterize sub $52k as "tanking" - even though maybe it is on the "cusp" of tanking (technically speaking) since $52k would be about a 15% drop from the ATH.

That's more like it.   Wink

Even though none of this chart bullshit is guaranteed, but showing a "theoretical" top in about the $1million range by the third quarter of 2021 seems to be MOAR better in terms of what could happen even though it seems to be something that is NOT really likely to be reached in terms of either amount or timeframe (even though theoretically it is possible to reach).

I personally consider the top of this run to end up in a $250k to $600k range if such top were to happen in this calendar year, and I personally believe that the bullish scenarios that go higher than $600k and even up to $1.5 million for this particular top would need to have more time to play out, such as dragging into the first or second quarter of 2022 (like ending in a double rather than single top).. Those are my tentative theoretical boundaries which I surely would not expect to be easily reached (hopefully not... but I am not going to complain if they are either met or exceeded except to once again - like 2017 - concede that my expectations were exceeded and I remain a dumby.. even though I likely would not say it exactly like that, except in jest)...

Its important to see where are we in terms of bitcoin / altcoin season.

Why?  Why would it be "important" to see such gibberish?

Hello Gang.
I know how boring the meta post can be, but I was working on my meta post for the italian board, and I had an idea for the WO thread:

Here you can see the merit circle between the WO gang members for the last month:

Each arc thickness is proportional of the merits sent from each side to the other one.
IF you click on the below image you have an interactive version of the image!
