Oh noes. It's that evil Bill Gates, nanochipping us all with chemtrails.

He's obviously a commie, probably Chinese.

 Roll Eyes

Uh Jimbo, before you go scoffing at Bill Gates haters (and lowkey letting him off the hook), you might want to read this:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/arielcohen/2021/01/11/bill-gates-backed-climate-solution-gains-traction-but-concerns-linger/?sh=3398e740793b

People have very legit reasons for calling him an arrogant narcissist and insane.

Thrilled @Grayscale is partnering w/ @TIME on a new video series coming this summer explaining the #crypto space.

Equally as important, @KeithGrossman & @TIME has agreed to be paid in #Bitcoin - and will hold the $BTC on their balance sheet. A first for our media partnerships!

I smell a new round of newly printed trillions of $$$ by the Fed to bail out hedge funds that have shorted bitcoin and are too big to fail.

OK.. just to talk about Bitcoin for a moment... Wink

Considering Bitcoin use on the rise in African culture...  who are our Africans here?  Does anyone have data on this?  What I want to know is whether the idea is true that Africans are using BTC for trade via trusted second layers currently.  Exchanges for example.  That they are NOT trading into a lower fee crypto to trade in.  (BCH, LTC, DOGE for example).  I am asking how much Africans are choosing to stay in BTC rather than trade in the cheaper less liquid ALTS.

Are we seeing  Gresham's or Their's law playing out there?

From my reading I understand they are really staying focused on BTC, and just avoiding fees by exchanging off chain... and if that is true I honestly think this is one of the MOST important things happening with BTC from a evolution standpoint.

+1 WOsMerits

Exchanging off chain... how? The mother of invention... They might actually be onto something. It could be a web of trust backed by guns (fuck with me and Nigerian mafia will get your ass). I think we'll be the first to get more details, if it's really a thing. The WO is definitely part of the vanguard.

I'd play with them and stack the last of the cheap satz. Just a handful, just to be able to say "I bought my last sat under 60k (or barely past that)". Let the hedgies work for us hodlers, not the other way round. We came here first didn't we?

I don't buy this. As I said, and more said before me, my hunch is they're just suppressing spot to get the best possible deal OTC. They won't be able to keep at it for long, says my SOMA system.

... Coinbase IPO will release tens of billions of fiat into the hands of long time bitcoin savy enthusiasts and maximalists, who are least likely to want to have the new dosh sit in fiat

.... they're just trying to keep a lid on this as long as possible and buy up the cheap coins

... no way btc is only worth 10x Coinbase market cap, the IPO event should fix most of that anomaly

Seconded.
They just try to build up sell pressure on spot, like they're used to on the stock market.

I like what you say Marcus, BUT Coinbase have been net sellers of corn since their start, so I think some mistrust about that is granted.

IMHO, you are getting it exactly backwards, at least at first.
Some institutions will sell btc and buy Coinbase IPO, unless WS plays some trick to push Coinbase down temporarily, like they did with FB.
In fact, I see roughly 50% chance of the latter scenario happening.

#16: CENSORSHIP...AND THE COMPLETE ABSENCE OF SCIENTIFIC DEBATE

Nothing  personal to all of you guys hoping vaccination will solve all problems but... if anyone of you @experts@ could trash this piece of work would be highly appreciated .

I was almost ready to get this vaccine but somebody sent me this link yesterday afternoon.

https://www.deconstructingconventional.com/post/18-reason-i-won-t-be-getting-a-covid-vaccine

Do your own research and decide either way.

This article is an advertisement to encourage you to subscribe to the website's dubious health program through promoting fear and ignorance.
While the writer has already been vaccinated.
A first grade kid could trash all 18 lame excuses.

If there was an article '18 reasons to ditch Bitcoin' would you sell?
Likely you would research who was behind the article and their motive.
(Like Oh yeah Craig Wright sponsored the article to dis Bitcoin and promote his shitcoin or Big Corporation X wants an in to Bitcoin and needs to get your coins at a cheaper price etc.)

My healthy 32 year old daughter non smoker, organic diet, active outdoor pursuits, caught Covid and spent 8 days in hospital seriously ill. 2 months on she still has some mild symptoms noticeably poor sense of smell and taste plus minor fatigue.

Her ordeal made it an easy decision for me to get vaccinated.

I have chosen to go with the vaccine game of russian roulette.
My first shot of pfizer is tomorrow.  Wish me luck.

And really, I wish you well.
