No please... we had enough with China's Coal and now this Saudi Oil?... Ok unless they are planning to go green and make it solar or window powered mining which I highly doubt.

Why do you put having money as the opposite of being compassionate?
In my experience, people with money are more compassionate then those without, because they can afford to be.

It is more Complicated than that, it is a Global problem we have to have an answer/solution for. Some are (very few) compassionate others are simply Rich Kids thinking they are playing Monopoly.

In my Opinion, Advanced Beings do not play games with each others Lives and put Hard Value on their existence. A Civilization based soley on Progress and Innovation would be obssessed with it .. thinking NONE of Money. Thinking just of a Better Future and leaving the Planet you came in, in Literally a better way  Just imagine this....

That sounds to me like one of those (more or less "religious") utopias that can never exist outside the utopists own in group. Because human nature.

It is not Religious. It is a perfectly dooable Theory (only a theory at the moment) even putting Human Nature in Regard with it . It is never going to be a perfect "utopia" but we can try to come as close as we can

If not, you really are showing a startling degree of naïvety if you think that the modern world is the result of anything less than the sum of everything that has happened in the past (i.e. not just a single event). It's probably cheaper and less bureaucratic to mine bitcoin.
There is no infrastructure to build to hook it up to the grid, and no lengthy building permit/environmental permit processes to go through and no power company to negotiate with, etc.

That's not quite the point. Bitcoin mining can easily lose money even with free power and if those gas producers aren't using flare gas e.g. to power the production facility itself then it's likely a lot more complicated than just piping it to a generator.

Anyway, this turned out to be fake news.
