what a thoughtful journalist, he posted an article in the middle of night, so I guess Breaking News " china bans Bitcoin".... really original...

yet Chinese government didn't post a single thing about that, in fact they banned any 1st April financial related jokes.

I thought it was real initially, but now I am not so sure that these rumours are true. Surely they'd give people more than 2 weeks to withdraw their money? what if you were on holiday and missed the announcement!?

No credible source, just seems to be newspapers rehashing Big Bobby's quote from last week and citing the same source over and over again.

I mean, the article just rehashes the same news we have seen up to yesterday, right?  Namely, with no confirmation but no denial yet of the bank account closure rumor.

All these articles popping up are just rehashes of the already posted chinese news.
Its not "trading accounts" that are getting shut down either, its PBOC bank accounts that exchanges are using.
