The gov didnt issue an official obligatory opinion, but even if it did it wouldnt write letters about it to all concerned so the statement from btcc is lame. Something is going down, notice the changes some of the exchanges are introducing concerning cny.

Has anyones Bitstamp wire been credited yet? Noramlly in by now when did u send? Early Friday, but Ive often had deposits credited within a few hours... My deposit (SEPA) from friday hasn't been credited yet either. But I've noticed that Bitstamp has become a bit slower with SEPA deposits recently unfortunately. I have noticed that as well. Time to give Kraken some love.

Time to give Kraken some love.
Are you trading there at the moment ? What are your general thoughts and feelings?

Are you trading there at the moment ? What are your general thoughts and feelings? Yes, since recently. Low volumes but growing slowly. Otherwise it's great. Lots of advanced order options.

Thanks, I may send some play money there to see if I get on with it then, I tried bitfinex recently but some of there features are very confusing. In other news according to fiat leak the chinese are buying about 10x more BTC at the moment than the rest of the world.

Kraken is registered, fully audited and based in Europe - a UK trading address with a German bank. On top of that I can add my own subjective experience that they're quick, efficient, reliable and have lots of features and a very slick interface. My impression of both their management and technical abilities is that it's lightyears beyond most crypto exchanges, but that's not as high praise as it should be of course.

Amazing. Bad news confirmed and I've never seen the order book so lopsided. This market looks like a coiled spring.

I know personally that I had to really fight the urge to not go into my "no touchy" money and avoid sending more to bitstamp.

now someone who wants to pump btc need only buy coins on one chinese exchage but take profits from sell orders on multiple exchanges. It's cost effective.

probably for chinese traders and arbitrage, cause the news of china central bank ban could be real. They could do that anyway. True or not. So we still don't know about the situation about China? I think it's time to get some good translations. Aren't here Chinese people with good English skills? PS: I call it the bottom. Now the good news coming in. Kraken got 5mio. investment. Maybe we go touch the 400 or 410 on Stamp again, but definetly not below 400! I am all in now.

I understand that to mean: any Chinese citizens who can send their CNY offshore (which turns them into CNH) can now deposit them directly to BTC-e, without converting them to EUR or USD first. That could be one option for Chinese citizens to put new money into the cryptocoin market. However it seems to be limited to 50,000 CNY/year for most people, is that correct? Chinese citizens who already have money in their Chinese exchange accounts would probably want to buy bitcoins there and export them to an account on BTC-e or any other exchange. I suppose that the PBoC would not mind, quite the opposite, if Chinese citizens withdraw CNH from BTC-e and bring them back into the mainland?

Talking of train pics, someone posted a url a few months ago with loads of train pics to choose from and I cant for the life of me remember what it was. Anyone?
