Nutildah's stance is to stop those members from getting merits in this thread who aren't putting much effort in creating good posts, and they are just posting meme images created by someone else only to gain some merits from the members of this thread who are much generous by nature.
Have you seen the absolute trash posts and then you see like some el dude or some other old grumpy dude meriting that post? Not that i care about those at all but i care that they do not want Newbies to get Merits. They childish i can you cant mentality is really stupid and is ruining WO since the start of their presence. Have you paid attention to the posts of "Legendaries" ? I know, i should not quote trolls, but to clear that up for SamReomo (and Merit-poor noobs in general)... So, i was a newbie here too, not too long ago, a while after the 2017 blowoff top. I can only say that the quality of postings, as well as how you are percieved by other people on this thread while chatting, supporting each other and having fun, will "earn" you Merits, as well as making you give up to a half of them back to the community. The best of all: I never really had earning Merits on my mind, it just happened as i went on posting various stuff and opinions, sometimes only for entertainment, sometimes more serious on serious matters. So, eXPHorizon's lie is now debunked. As usual EDIT: WARNING I have collected quite some hours of deep sky data within the last few weeks. After experiencing some difficulties with equipment and processing, i began to finish them images today. Might spam this thread with some new astronomy pics, sooner or later

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Seems like $26,000 is the new steady-state price... For how long? "Please, Bitcoin, do something!" etc., etc.
It always locks on round numbers. Must be human psychology. Would be interesting to see the price lock at $26,450 for a change. Or, even better, lock at $264,500.
(Most) folks just tend to be drawn to simplicity. I confess, me too. "Buy and hodl" is my favourite Back in the early days, I used to set limit prices based on the digits of Pi or other math constant. Like $314.159. It was fun to spot the transaction as it went through in the order book. Now I just do round numbers like the rest of us. PS: This could even be an OPSEC issue I guess (but I bet there are many more OCD types out there)... What do you guys think will happen? Will it hit 35k by the end of 2023 or it go down 25k? Waiting a lot for the outcome. Even though you did not frame your question very well, you seem to be asking whether the BTC price is going to break out of the "don't wake me up zone," which coiuld be argued to be $25k to $35k, and which way will it break out and will such break up happen by the end of this year. Part of the reason your framing seems to suck is because largely we have already gone down to pretty damned close to $25k.. which was as low as $25,350 so far. So yeah we are close to the bottom of the range which does give more credibility to the possibility of breaking downward rather than UP, but I am still not sure if the chances are too much greater than 60% for the breaking down rather than either returning into the range or ending up breaking up out of the range to the upside.. but surely if the BTC price does not break down and instead goes somewhere back into the middle of the "don't wake me up" arena, then wouldn't that seem like a BIG SO FUCKING WHAT? So probably the more interesting scenario would be to break below $25k, but again, I am not even sure if I might be being too optimistic when I end up assigning up to 60% odds for such. It seems pretty doubtful that we would stay in this DWMU range until the end of the year without breaking one direction or another, but sure we still ONLY have right about 4 months left in the year.. so it would not be out of the question to stay in this DWMU range until the end of the year. I am quite likely not going to be holding my breath for any of this, even though I do see why some people are getting bored, and maybe they feel that they already accumulated enough BTC in these prices, which maybe it could be the case, but being more than $1k below the 200-week moving average ( at $27,498 right now) does not seem to be a very healthy place in order to have a further break downwardly.. but hey, breaking down (if it is possible) might end up shaking some weak hands, if it does not end up recking some bearwhale twats prior to their ability to be able to buy back the coins that they had ended up selling in such desires to try to get the price of cornz to go downity rather than uppity or sideways.

I think it's better not to worry too much whether the price of Bitcoin goes down or up ($25k to $35k or $45k), because the price of Bitcoin will always go up and down, but if someone wants to hold Bitcoin, then and It will be his best decision to wait for the right time. Especially those of us who are new always think that they will buy Bitcoin when it goes down and sell it when it goes up, but that's not always the case.

Yeah I didn't ask properly. But it was hoping for something like that and you got it correctly. I was just hoping for a guess. I think in crypto anything can happened and it's not like it's the first time. Bitcoin surprised us many times. We sill have 4 months to speculate and see. So lets observe how it goes.

I just noticed now. Do you know what happened unexpectedly? The accounts of those who like to copy posts from Twitter disappeared from the topic all at the same time. It seems that someone really didn't like the fact that this began to be discussed publicly.

Perhaps we should create a Poll to bann these users from WO and see how the dynamic changes 😉
