I shut it down quite a while ago.

I just run an Umbrel node now for <reasons>. No LN channels tho.

Yeah i noticed you went offline late last year.

Reading through this now, it does seem sketchy as hell. Might need to reconsider bumping my LN Node up, until a permanent solution is found.

Considering it is still experimental, i think the line "Don't risk what you aren't willing to lose" may come into play here.

EDIT: It's not just Lightning Network....

Other Bitcoin protocols like Discreet Log Contracts (DLCs), conjoins, and payjoins were vulnerable too.

EDIT: Make sure you on the latest lnd build

https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/releases/tag/v0.17.0-beta

    LDK: v0.0.118 – CVE-2023 -40231
    Eclair: v0.9.0 – CVE-2023-40232
    LND: v.0.17.0-beta – CVE-2023-40233
    Core-Lightning: v.23.08.01 – CVE-2023-40234

Biden just said he wanted to fund three sides in two wars (which will probably end up with us funding another side in a third). They're strapping turbo chargers to the money printers.

I hope they strap one to BTC as well Grin.

Sadly, of the two possible futures where in one, everyone flees to Bitcoin for their transactions because it's a stable, cheap to use currency with plenty of capacity and the other where the economy is so shit, nobody can afford to buy bitcoin and it's expensive to use unless you get involved with some complicated experimental technology that just shit the bed, we're in the latter.

Bitcoin has broken into the top range as we discussed but it is important to hold support (previous resistance) during the daily close. The current resistance is $31500.

yep unless you simple go the following route

BTC =  $10000 + or big ass chain moves and wealth storage
LTC = $1000 to $10000 moves
Doge = $1 to $1000 moves

Says the guy whom is mining all of the above.

And a biggggg F U to all the BTC maxers.

Now if you realize that it behooves LTC/Doge to attack All BTC off chain solutions so that you go back to:

BTC =  $10000 + or big ass chain moves and wealth storage
LTC = $1000 to $10000 moves
Doge = $1 to $1000 moves

Just do the math and see how much gear is mining LTC/DOGE

Hmm, so it simply means that rather than waiting for Bitcoin to be a viable option in the near future and rather than just watching the Bitcoin landscape evolve better get involved in the construction timezone.

To avoid any regret.
