.... It's all entertainment, ....

Absolutely bro. Its why I love this here famous thread. And I got no one on ignore. Scroll wheel etc.

Amen to that! Sorry for the religious word there... LOL!

Let the trolls post. Feed them as you wish. No rules. Empty Ignore list. Well-lubricated scroll-wheel. WO at its finest!

Let the trolls post. LOL. Is that like the old saying ‘let them eat cake?’

Everybody enjoys seeing this thread grow but the trolls should at least include some speculative comment about the price of BTC to keep this thread from falling into total chaos.

For example, we’ve been going up quite a ways without any major resistance but it does appear as we creep nearer to $40K we’re going to start meeting with some long term resistance levels. Might not be enough to stop the rally, but I think it could slow it a bit.

I see your point, but I think that, over the years, WO has achieved a kind of self-regulating mechanism for trolls. Something like Bitcoin's difficulty adjustment. It automatically allows just enough trollery to entertain and amuse its residents, but not too much to disturb the thread. You'll notice that trolls come and go in waves, they never become too regular. It doesn't bother me. It's manageable. It's beautiful.

Having some kind of watchdog on alert 24/7, removing OT/troll posts at will, would spoil the innately anarchic (yet extremely orderly) nature of WO, turning it into a WOcash kind of thread.

The price is up over $35K and seems to show no signs of slowing down. It will be interesting to see if once the ETF  is approved if we’ll see a selloff or a moon shot. The perfect storm seems to be aligning between the timing of this rally, the coming ETF approvals, and the halving. 2024 could be one of the bigger years we’ve seen for BTC.

I don’t think that there will be a single moonshot, so to speak, as BR and other hedge funds will be allocating capital to BTC over the long term so I think we will see a sustained rise over time. There may be an initial spike when the floodgates open but it will settle to a nice inflow over time and any spikes will just be noise.

Glad again because I agree with you WO This process should be something I feel good about It temporarily brings us the joy of recreation or leisure that we desperately need in between jobs Although this thread may seem boring to many, it really is not boring Things like this should be done more frequently in the days to come which will help keep our newbies well You should heed the last cautionary statement.

Why the fuck is there so much drama in this place? It's like the toxic corner of bitcointalk. We should be celebrating the $35k.

Because of your digital mama and alike, that’s why.

Exactly Governments will be the last ones to adopt bitcoin on large scale and reasons are obvious
- No more bailouts for the Banks
- No more stimulus checks

Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks.

[Bob fucking around with AI’s, per se]

Firstly, let us address the elephant in the room, ~

3. Honored contributors using toxic excellent humor to state their point of view in a quite intelligent way. Good people, in essence.

Thanks.

GPT4 and DALLE3 are hella fun, NGL...

Say hello to Rick for me, will ya?

Knowing it is AI text makes me not want to read it, though. It feels like a waste of my time.

My feelings exactly, every fucking time I see a JJG post.

It is simply a path to the truth.

like it or not We are all in the matrix.

Preposterous statement, you sorry excuse of a human being.
#exit.the.matrix

~ I am AI ~

Damn bob be bitch slapping JJG

Yeah, it’s called “oxymoron”.

~ me, me, me, and … me

Pathetic.

Let’s go bruh

Let’s not.

Would have send more but I’m almost all the time at 50 smerit on 30 days for you…

You could always take the plane to AUS and blow him.
That would work!

Fine, I'll reach deep. Smiley

Hahahaha, priceless!

Bljatcoin is about to be crashed by The Sun. Ita fonna disrupt the shjat out of it

This is not the first solar maximum of our lifetime, everything is still here, so there is that.

I dont have any proves but i can confirm exphorizon is holding a ton of BTC and he only make all this post for trolling and make a laugh until he wait to the super pump of BTC.

That’s like saying that he is proudhon.
Don’t think so.

If you think that Real Estate prices are High now.. Just wait for mid 2024

Hmm, *if* I was a betting man, I would bet on the exact opposite.
It’s all about location of course, and you can’t generalise it either.

Finally, some words of wisdom.
You forgot to mention the rusty pipes though.

Is that like the old saying ‘let them eat cake?’

Yet another historical misconception.

I used to use Ignore, but i almost always clicked to read. And i'm a freedom-of-speech advocate, i found using Ignore contradictive.

Better not zone out when your wife is talking, thats infringing on her freedoms according to you logic.

That's not the right comparison. If i tune my earbuds to (noise-)cancel out the voice of my wife, that would be following my logic then.
Zoning out is like scrolling down, imo. Me and my wife are always listening to each other, i can imagine that's not very common, but i remember ex-girls of mine that were mainly talking garbage and quite angry when i didn't really listen to them.

In the End, A No Coiner will be Laughing the Hardest and sweetest. 😘

You seem to be in a fantasy land, and even you likely understand and appreciate what you are saying is not true.. so that is probably part of the reason no one could take you seriously, even if once in a while you might have some point that might have coincidentally ended up being correct.
A no coiner laughing the hardest and sweetest is a no no point with zero percent coincidental chance of materializing and anyone that have taken a deep breathe with a cup of coffee in hand critically meditated about this evolution (not revolution) that is gradually sinking into the nukes and crannies of the different parts of the world with every society there exists a coin hodler and with each passing day new institutional and individual adopters are emerging. So the irony of laughing the hardest and sweetest would be that of the coiners because at the end they would be in the position to have something profitable to smile about.

Maybe some of the people here are 'collectors" with a small 'c', but as far as "The Collector" (in MCU sense)-maybe there are/were only two here: Loaded and proudhon.
Loaded, as described by others before (here and elsewhere), was likely the guy with a Chinese last name who got busted recently..and proudhon likes to jerk everyone's chain once in a while.

Hmm, that's interesting.

Firstly I was going to put that MCU's Collector view as well but The Collector's character was far more determined in collection, I'm not sure who else here in WO holds such courage to collect Bitcoin as THE Collector did with what he liked.

EDIT: Personally, I think that giving bitcoin to children is sometimes ill advised because in most cases they would simply spend it as fast as possible while being taxed to the hilt.
Charities and direct donation to causes could be a better venue. Surely, children should get some, but by no means all, especially if bitcoin would have value in the millions or even 1 million.

Hmm, 1 million will not be a big deal. We can say if this cycle hits $120k the $1M will be straight forward target, hehe considering all the sentimental ups and downs. Several Million Ah you've triggered my greed which I was Suppressing about for a long period, these days I'm getting motivated to drop just a few bucks regularly in a second wallet to be a collector.

From taxation let's consider a very rare scenario, if Bitcoin gets the title of a global payment system, how can they impose taxes on the Bitcoiners, because even though they've regulated it under their policies Bitcoin is still a decentralized P2P system? Just Noob's asking still I would like to hear how in such regulation how they could be able to control Bitcoin. "KYC"? or Under regulatory generated address as our NID. or something else. How? Will the concept of self-custody be eliminated at that time?. etc etc....

Becasue for sure they won't surrender that easily in front of Civilians.
