Telsa has no hand. GB could simply import Chinese evs on the cheap.

IF THEY WANT to hurt Tesla it would,be that easy.

LAST I looked China can build evs that work for 25% of tesla price.

If GB wants to punish tesla it is that easy.

https://electrek.co/2024/03/06/byd-launches-cheaper-seagull-ev-9700-price/

9700 bucks.

BTW if Trump loses Kamala may cut a no tariff deal to fuck Detroit bigly.

Can you imagine the USA flooding the country with Chinese evs at 10k a piece and riasing gas tax 200%

Fun world isn't

Well this is the complete irrationality of western governments trying to pretend to get to Net Zero by importing even
more crap from copycat China where they don't give a damn about how much damage is done to the planet.

Trying to shame Elon Musk for saying bad things whilst you work with the regimes in Saudi Arabia and China is even more mental.

But sure, I would expect nothing less than from the successive UK governments we have had that have literally gone from
bad to worse over the last several decades.

Don't say bad things on Facebook folks, you might go to prison.
But we can invade Iraq based on lies.

It's lovely to see many people not giving a damn about threats from their own governments.
In the end all these irrational free speech crackdown prison sentences are all for optics, because the shambolic governments are clearly super afraid
of their own citizens.

Thank F for Bitcoin.

By the way, bitcoin volatility index is up 3-fold since late June and is highest since April 2023.
https://bitbo.io/volatility/

You can see it in the dailies: constantly up and down 1K-2K.

I am not sure what is the cause, but it could be two large and strong groups of investors in loggerheads or something else.

Volatility is expanding on weekly bars and I presume we can break the range held for most of 2024 with those wild swings.   The volume is lacking on the last recovery which made this current sell not unexpected.

Slow descent in the highest prices seen each month with each big low observed is much lower so we are expanding in price volatility and also in a trend downwards though its not currently that aggressive.   200 day simple moving average is still rising, stay positive imo but there may be trouble ahead.

The UK is doing nothing against Elon Musk it is words for the press.  The esteemed host alumni of 'Meme Review' practically has diplomatic immunity on multiple accounts; if nothing else as head of a giant company the UK government are more likely to drop and kiss his feet as he descends from his private jet.

They cannot afford to hold grudges like that for simple words, if you are peon struck in poverty then your very un PC views might serve a multi year jail sentence but your life is cheap so all of that is a given.

The 10k EV car is impressive but add 25% for taxes in the UK and round it up to £15k for realism, still a good price if the quality is there and when you are sitting on a giant battery it has to actually work properly.   [Honda offers to give a new car for 3 years at 10k cost, 18k final]

Most interesting thing I can say about these new fuel sources is the potential for wider energy use based off car to grid, car to home supply.   I believe its part of a wider technological development but of course it needs alot more development and infrastructure support plus the actual batteries need to improve, in theory thats all happening.

You know, it kinda takes the fun out of it if I have to explain my lil' selfie and it was supposed to be a first person POV, since everyone has their own little story, but now you want me to write it as second person POV and I have no literary skill but here goes:

You, as the Bitcoin hodler, are the rider on this roller-coaster which will ultimately require 21 million dekagrams of steel in its construction though it is built as required with cyclical regularity.  The various hills and valleys represent the volatility you have and will continue to experience while the twists and turns are the various hard forks, block size debates as well as the exchange collapses if you are one of the unlucky who decided/decides to hodl on one (or more) of them.  Ironically, the roller-coaster is named NYKNYC.  Those little feet that appear on occasion belong to Faketoshi and others who will frequently appear and try to wrestle your bitcoin from you using various legal wranglings and fraudulent claims.  You will notice that the clip loops forever, Laura and there's no viable off-ramp because Bitcoin is the superior asset.
