It feels like a heavy dump is right around the corner.

I don't see any dump before the inauguration. The enthusiasm is super high and if you must know, Microstrategy just bought another 27,200 BTC today.

  that would be one lucky number..

Though, it never was really banned, every Chinese national can own bitcoin according to my friends there. They all said, they would be allowed to own BTC but they don't want to.
They have no on- and off-ramps ofcourse and the government tells citizens that it is totally unregulated and nobody will come to their rescue when it drops - unlike with Chinese stocks, where people think gubbermint will bail them out when they drop (and Winnie the Pooh and his minions often enough do so).

A few days ago I said it in another thread that most likely people will unload before $100k and if the demand holds and they get bought out, they'll go back in adding to the pump above $100k and that's where the real FOMO will start.

When I woke up today and checked the price I immediately thought to myself that these guys on WO thread must be celebrating. I bet they're buzzing like little bees in Spring.

MicroStrategy, the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, purchased approximately 27,200 bitcoins for $2.03 billion at an average price of $74,463 per coin between Oct. 31 and Nov. 10, 2024. This brings its total Bitcoin holdings to 279,420, valued at $11.9 billion. The purchases were funded through share issuance. Despite reporting quarterly sales of $116 million, which missed estimates, MicroStrategy also announced plans to raise $42 billion for future Bitcoin acquisitions.
