Many don't realize what big a thing that is.  Everyone who was here over a decade ago will remember the feeling when Bitcoin was some niche tech that John Doe knew nothing about...

Anyone selling at this time (without a serious need to) is going to regret it bigly in a few months (as did those who sold @ $50k a few months ago).

That would be a great reason to pump.  Germany sold theirs at around $55k... the bottom of noman's land... hahahahaha  how did that work for them there folks?  Fiduciary irresponsibility on behalf of the German citizens... but what else do governments tend to do?

I am not going to fault you for that.  I put my symbolic and memorial order on the buy end, and mine has not yet filled. 

I waited until we had gone above $100k a bit (to establish a bit of a cushion 2.5% or so), and so maybe my support buy order(s) will be filled, and maybe not.  I hope they never fill. 

Hahahahahaha...


I will say that I believe that the odds of my BTC buy order slightly above $100k never filling, would be quite low.. maybe less than 35%... yet hope springs eternal... let's see what happens? 

Popping into the $120k to $180k range prior to December 31st is no longer as long of a shot as I was starting to feel it had become.. especially after our seemingly 8-ish months of stagnation between March-ish and October-ish (or being stuck mostly in no man's land, which was not supposed to happen like that.. or at least not quite like that, even though we did not really go below it either)...

2025 is going to have a higher high than 2024..

Yet, sure Trump does not get sworn in until noon on January 20th, yet I still will be willing to suggest that there are well greater (even bettably) odds that the high price of BTC after noon on January 20, 2025  until the end of 2025 will at some time be higher than any BTC price that came prior to Noon January 20, 2025.

Just like that we’ve got $100K in the rear view. Anyone’s guess how high we will be by the time Wall Street opens. It makes sense now why Blackrock bought so much Bitcoin today. They have a settlement nightmare on their hands. That should be extremely bullish for the next 2 days. We’ve got ourselves our first ETF settlement squeeze I believe.

That is a very good point.  They should have a very strong incentive to make sure that they have the BTC that their customers purchase soon after the customers purchase them, yet I am sure that Blackrock has a variety of ways that it can screw its customers.. .. yet sometimes the customers are not going to appreciate getting screwed.

It is a lot easier to double than it is to do 20,000x (that is going by Bitcoin's January 2012 price of $5... I don't think it is really fair to count $0 to $5.. so I prefer to start at $5.. just to have a bit more fair of an attempt at analysis)
