burn 480 kwatts a day at six cents you spend $ 28.80
It's amazing how little you guys pay for electricity. Here, the tax alone is a lot higher, and the price before taxes too. I'm paying €0.259/kWh today.
480 kWh per day would be 5 times more than I need for heating on the coldest day in winter. I'd have to open the windows all winter Cheesy

yeah but it is with a host.

my home power is 16.6 the heat is worth 3.6 cents.

I net at 13 cents.

The best btc miner is s21xp

it burns 90 kwatts a day or $11.70  a day it earns 17 a day..

So as I type I could run my s21xp in my house and turn a small profit.

basically we are just under retail mining fomo. what is good is price will go into retail mining fomo in the next few months.

It has started to fomo with the L7 I own a few and have paid as little as 4000 with a cc for one of them.

pointed to nicehash it earn 40 usd and burns 10 a daily profit of 30 usd paid to me in btc weekly.

this unit has a solid place in a usa home even at 20:cent power

it would burn 16 a day and earn 40 a day or 24 a day in btc.

if you trend the L7:price it more than doubled since last dec 2023.

California is high power cost 40 cents

NYC is 28 cents.

In NJ I am 16.6 in winter and 21 in summer

I can get 10 cents in some states.

all retail normal home 🏠 numbers.

So we have some retail mining fomo.

It will be extremely difficult not to sell too early if this happens. I’m still expecting the peak to be in October, so if we are so high so early it will be hard to not start selling. The more and more I see how much buying is on the way, the more I think we could be looking at $500K next year. That will be hard to hold up to.

Yet another virtue of the laddered standing order strategy. It imposes its own discipline.

Did gay cards cause it?
Or was it Powell's comment?
No matter, it's done!

Phil may not like it,
But a rocket flies faster.
Ten grand per jump now!

The new status quo.
Those with corn rule those without.
Are you in or out?

Our friends laughed at us.
Our colleagues ridiculed us.
It's payback time now!

With Bitcoin we fly.
We kiss our bosses goodbye.
Our ex-girlfriends cry!

The world in our hands.
We taste forbidden pleasures.
Whatever we want!

Yes, I know, I know.
That sounded like Pet Shop Boys.
Corn love comes quickly!

I stumbled upon this beauty:

Hodlers: an apology

"Still right, still poor"

Alphaville wrote an apology to everyone who didn't buy Bitcoin reading the column.

Great, satisfying read!

Nice find.

FTAV: Still right clueless. Still poor.

Because I have a source of btc income from mining.  I can set ladder up sales.

as long as I sell less btc than the mine sends back to me. I gain in fiat and I gain in btc.

I am set for it as I type.

I still incur risk (mine could be stolen) (gear could break)

I laddered from 70k to 101K.

I now have enough fiat to pay all mining power costs until August contract ends.
I have spare fiat for other costs.

Yesterday I earned about  0.00045792 btc on one pool and more on another pool.

This above is 0.167 btc in a years time.

The other earnings I won't reveal for Opsec.

my next sell ladder covers

105,105
110,110
119,119
125,125
129,129
133,133
138,138
142,142

even if that sells out my 2 mines earnings will have more to sell.

it is not perfect but I am at least somewhat comfortable at the moment.
