If we don’t go by the strict daily candles then we’ve already had quite a few examples of $10k in 24 to 72 hours, so maybe I am not saying anything new or interesting?  And we might have even gotten $20k within similar 24 to 72 hour windows, so sure, maybe I need to be more bold.

I am not even suggesting that such $10k to $20k is imminently coming, since I am kind of subscribing to a building up kind of theme that would precede the explosive theme, so I would place out of the blue as less likely, even though out of the blue explosive does happen from time to time.

I personally am more leaning towards the metric of how many days after the halving, which I believe points to a top in mid-September. Still, not a bad idea to be on top watch if you’re planning to cash some out this cycle.

Did we just break out a new all time high for Bitcoin? I’m just looking at the chart and we appear to be right there.

NOpe, sorry, we were above $123k already this year/cycle/generation.

Since we use Bitstamp here, it’s easy enough to see that the current ATH is $123,236. Of course there are going to be folks prematurely proclaiming that a new ATH has already been touched. Such premature callings frequently happen which is also part of our justifications in maintaining an agreed-to reference so that we know when it is time to get excited, to the extent that our next new ATH are points that we would like to get excited.

I find many ATHs to be exciting and rolling ATHs to be even more excitement provoking.

Never know which exchange is the one that people refer to but my app does show that you are correct. It appears (from what I’m looking at) that the all time high remains $123,091.61 while today’s high is $123,018.72. We are damn close… I’d really like to see a proper breakout to keep pace with the M2 chart, but it’s coming. The next 30 days are going to be boner-inducing for lack of a better description.

I lost my Mother in recent years and I honestly can’t think of a worse thing to have to go through. I am amazed that nearly everyone goes through such pain and then the world just expects you to be normal. Lots of people will tell you that the pain gets easier but it doesn’t. You only have one Mom and they rarely get the appreciation they deserve. I am so sorry you are going through this. I wish nobody ever had to. Your Mother lives on through you now. Make sure you give her a good experience.

I lost my father, now i'm about to witness the same regarding my mother. Both because of alcohol. Filthy stuff.
When they die, they remember us each time that we are still alive and we should make the best of it.
Take all time to mourn you need. It's your damn right to do so.
