Rate cut - quantitative easing restart - quantitative tightening ending - China U.S trade deal - gold ATH - hash rate ATH - record ETF inflow - low supply - adoption - tech stocks ATH and so on.

Seems like nothing can make Bitcoin pump anymore.

Until it does

I was about to write "But it will..." You beat me to it.

Selling to use the fiat for something you want/need, sure. But selling to store fiat in a bank account is delayed regret IMHO.

In Saylor's words: "I just pity them."

I got a great deal on some single-serving, made-in-Italy, shelf-stable lasagna this week.  I might have to save that for more prosperous times and go back to supplementing my diet with sand.

Now that's the kind of frugality I can get behind.

"Hedging" into united states donalds and cutting off an arm for taxes just seems outrageously retarded at this point in the arc of winning. This ain't 2015.

Calculating the hypothetical loss to be suffered in a downturn versus the settled, real loss of selling and paying the tax man is useful.

Donaldizing wealth also paints a target on yo ass for unrealized CG in a few years whether you're in a sane or tax-free jurisdiction or not

The mood has been completely lifted after eating the flavorful noodles,
Mr. Moneybags are on a restful break, Today seems like a day of luxury, Save the Italian-made lasagna for special days, Now go back to a little simple food, But yes, Sometimes it's better to avoid frugality altogether, life is all about enjoying a little!

I would think that many guys who have interacted with me (and/or read some of my posts) through my nearly 12 years on the forum have come to see that I am not much of a gambler type, and I am way more of an incrementalist and a hedger and an investor rather than someone who fucks around with gambling..

Nothing wrong here. It's a positive thing. Full marks for that

Even though surely making bets might appear to be gambling, I consider them as ways to facilitate conversations and/or to make sure that guys are standing behind their assertions, since we do have tendencies for guys to really say things that they do not believe and there are a decent number of guys who will not stand behind their assertions..   You have shown yourself to be a guy to be willing to stand behind his assertions and perhaps you have come around to making sure that you are not making assertions that are overly absolute, since we likely have come to realize that bitcoin can shoot in extreme directions that are outside of expectations.

If we make a claim then we have to stand firmly on that claim. There are people around who predict 10 to 15 scenarios about Bitcoin and even if one comes out true they keep that one with them and don't talk about the 14 false predictions.

I learned it after losing 30 bucks that Bitcoin can swing in both directions.

I doubt that the bet matters too much, and it is seeming that the odds are against LFC.. even though he had some moments of even expressing seemingly exaggerated proclamations that the bet was "easy money" for his lil selfie... hahahahaha

Even now, a mere week or two later, LFC's sentiment has likely changed (perhaps perhaps?  He seems to admit that he gets overly emotional about some of these matters - even though he likely has various underlying presumptions that are less likely to waver), even though perhaps he still feels he has reasonable odds for winning the bet.

So we expect another win for JJG here?

I think members knowledge will increase only after they lose bets with JJG.

I have stopped to eat anything noodle. Some stupid companies use bad ingredients for the durability. Some contain a preservative called Ethylene oxide that is majorly used for sterilizing medical tools.
Since I heard about that shit I deleted my taste for noodles. Maybe those that are locally made are off Ethylene.
