tide is accepted for dope at a lot of places.

I spent a lot of time yelling at my wife for buying tide for her brother.

Basically the delivery people all all latin American and letting them hand 50 bucks worth of tide is not a great idea.

Probably should have stopped yelling a lot faster than I did. I know I hurt the wife's feelings.

94 looks better than 89

but I really want to go to 101 or better soon.

So today it's repair-day, no?

Just replaced the broken washing machine today. Bitch was heavy, made for 20 lbs dry load.
Dampers worn out, heating shorted, beyond repair. Glad that it was insured. The new one cost me only around 150 bucks (700 in the store), considering 250 for the old one from insurance and 5 years of warranty, saves me 5 bucks per month (totals 300).

As soon as i kicked out the thing at the waste dump, i returned home to hear the dryer squeak on every turn of the drum.
So it's bushing maintenance or belt replacement day tomorrow  Roll Eyes

What's that nice green dildo we witness? Candles like this were anticipated, but months earlier.
Either revisiting Bart or finally the start of a parabolic phase?
Cycles over or lengthened?
Too many questions. Who has answers?

I don’t.
I enjoy the moment.
Ripping trough 91, 92, 93 and finally 94k is a small feat, yet feeling good.
Next big step is the 50w MA sitting at 102k.
That’s a pivot point.

Sorry guys, back to toilets now.

That reminds me, it's time to replace the bearing and felt glide on mine. 25 years old but the new stuff is not as hardy.

problem 2) 2 not 1 leaky toilets. working on it.
How do 2 toilets start leaking?

Probably installed at the same time.  The chlorine in our water breaks down the rubber flapper whether you use it or not.   I replaced ours with silicone... it lasts much longer.

the expensive Kohler with the photo was put in 2018. 2nd fix of  the shutoff valve. It fails around every 4 years. Direct Kholer part from the factory.

the cheap Glacier from Home Depot was done in 2000 or maybe 1998 can't remember.  It needs a flapper every 2-3 years.

the chlorine eats them up.  its a fast fix .

I filter the house water coming in but only room for a 5 micron sediment filter.

I have filters for chlorine on every shower head.

and I use reverse osmosis for cooking, drinking and humidifiers.

Too many questions. Who has answers?

Repaired mine about 8 years ago (actually twice now that I think of it).

So it cost me 1200 like Idunno 14 or 15 years ago, at the time the front loaders were just becoming mainstream so I grabbed a whirlpool because Quality, Right?

I think the Warranty was 5 years and about 6 months after the warranty it started making noise so I checked and yup, just out of warranty.

So I said well lets take a look at this thing before getting a new one and I found the seal had failed causing water to follow the shaft into a unsealed bearing.

REALLY, UNsealed !!!!! AND the Seal was a piece of crap that had hardened without even a spring and the cost of the seal replacement was $80 and the Bearing $40.

So I was like, number one this seal is designed to age and fail because of the material they used, straight up Built in obsolescence.

Next the bearing is designed to fail right after the seal starts to leak as its not sealed.

So I took the measurements and found there were of course no seals with the same dimensions as they obviously made the special order to fuck people.

But the inner and out dimensions were obtainable and guess what, they were Exactly half the diameter than the original AND I could get them with springs!!

I found a sealed bearing from NACHI or NSK, can't really remember and the cost for the bearing and 2 high quality seals with springs was a Whopping 30 Bucks.

The drive line has been running perfect ever since and has already outlasted a new exact same model.

Then about 2 years ago the control board dies and that was $250, anyone seeing a pattern here?

I looked at the design and the plastic holder for the circuit board had ZERO ventilation holes and therefor created a hotbox that caused the triacs to fail.

I replaced the shitty 30amp triacs with 40 amps ones for like 5 bucks and added ventilation holes and expect the thing to outlast my old ass now.

Sorry guys, back to toilets now.

I unclogged and cleaned my toilet. I’d hire a maid to do it but I engraved my private keys inside my toilet bowl.

I see a lot of resistance at $96,500 but pretty smooth sailing to $106K if the market can break above that. I would consider both levels short term selling opportunities for traders who bought the recent low.

Not that I'm complaining, but any idea why NGU today?

Beautiful weather out at the ranch today. Puttering around here all day waiting for propane tank refill dude to arrive, for both our greenhouse and barn living spaces.

Whee!

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"

Need to fix real world problems today busy.

Fixed problem 1) stolen tide detergent
problem 2) 2 not 1 leaky toilets. working on it.
philipma1957 also has expertise in plumbing.

One more work to his count.

Obviously mining and plumbing are related... including that the internet can be understood as a series of tubes.

Twenty minutes of video for something that could be written up in a couple of pages. That's nothing new. I find that offending.
...Next time write it up please.
I also find that offensive. If some self-proclaimed "influencer" is too lazy to compose and type an article I'm not going to waste 20 minutes watching some goofy video.

A written article can be scanned or more closely studied depending on the reader. Either way it will take far less time than watching some ridiculous video.

Of course a mere by-line even if accompanied by a photo is less of an ego booster than some video with its creator front and center. It seems that somehow personality has become more important than content.
Creeping idiocracy?

Some of this has to be accepted.

A lot of people do not read. They get their content through videos, and they might not even understand how to absorb content in a text format.

It could be that quite a few of us on this forum are dinosaurs in the way that we absorb information, and we are receptive to written content.

I thought that the guy presented well, and surely his presentation style could cause folks to agree with him even if we might not have been saying anything as extreme and/or serious as it seemed to have been, including that so many folks have hardly any clue about what Saylor/MSTR is doing and the extent of their leverage, so there is likely a lot of receptivity to the fears about MSTR "losing its peg" or spiraling into doomsday blah blah blah.

94 looks better than 89

but I really want to go to 101 or better soon.

So this time you are prepared?

Why do I have my doubts?

Maybe it is just me?

I tend to believe that you likely have way too much fiat that is still sitting on the sidelines waiting for sub-$70k and perhaps even sub $60k..   You and LFC.. hahahahahaha

Sure, those lower prices could end up happening and contribute towards my looking like more of a schmuck than I already do, yet so frequently, I tend to get worried when BTC prices are already seeming to be quite low and not using such relative lowness to sufficiently/adequately prepare for up.

What's that nice green dildo we witness? Candles like this were anticipated, but months earlier.
Either revisiting Bart or finally the start of a parabolic phase?
Cycles over or lengthened?
Too many questions. Who has answers?

I don't have any answers.... just feelings... which surely it seems to always be a good idea to make sure that each of us is prepared for either price direction (and sure, throw sideways in there too), yet historically, an overwhelming mistake of normies has been an inadequate and/or insufficient preparation for up.

I would think that most of the guys in these here parts are not making the more common mistake of the normal normies of not being sufficiently/adequately prepared for up.
