Bank of Japan Rate Hike Could Trigger 20-30% Bitcoin Decline as Markets Price 98% Probability
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/bank-japan-rate-hike-could-180617423.html

I'm in the camp that people already sold the rumor and that we won't go down too much...

If markets price 98% probability it's priced in. The Fed's rare cut was less likely ffs.

They are incredibly smart little critters.

They can drive cars:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYHMc3-f3v8

They talk a lot with each other:

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41386-018-0303-6

And knowing how their social behaviour is, I'd say they outrun us in almost all aspects as species.

Yeah I think the powers have long priced this in, people are just looking for an explanation for what is happening even if it is very wrong.. I see it discussed in other places but I don't think it is relevant.

This is a great point that is probably lost on many people. The fact is that markets trade based on future expectations, not current reality. You need to be able to see how the expectations are misguided to make big money trading.

Doom just refuses to die.

I remember playing Wolfenstein 3D (Doom prequel) back in the golden PC days (early 90s).

Now, even mice get to experience the rush.

What's next? Doom for ants?

I remember upgrading my Mac to a 66mhz processor so I could play Doom 2. That 56.6 baud modem was screaming its way to some great 1v1 matches back in the day. I recently heard that teens today don’t know what the modem sound is…

No Clarity Act markup (in US) until 2026.
https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2025/12/15/congress/senate-banking-will-not-vote-on-crypto-bill-this-week-00691505

Therefore, Lummis tax bill will not pass in 2025, almost certainly (I expect it to be a last minute add-on to Clarity).
In conclusion, wash sell rules are still not in effect, so losses that I have in trading in 2025 could be safely taken and almost immediately re-bought (not an investment advice), decreasing taxes

Yeah, that "game" the rats are playing is about as DOOM as CLAMS to Bitcoin though.  They scurry on a ball and get rewarded with food through a straw for kills.  Ppht!  Hey, wait a minute!

 Fuck... we're all DOOMed

I can't believe gambling on Polymarket is legal...wow.
That's where the crazy bets may pay off if you are smart.
Contemplating bidding small on something.
