As much as I welcome AI for its benefits in data analysis and information processing, I absolutely HATE how it's being abused by people who copy/paste AI-generated content and presenting it as their own, without even checking its validity. Not talking so much about trolls -- WO has always been a troll magnet and I'm sure all WOers here can easily spot them and their use of AI. The real issue is that many people have now started using AI instead of their own brains for everything, from reports and dissertations, to publishing papers in journals, even to writing code and using it without thoroughly testing it!
Fuck this shit. Soon, all we will have left to sort out what's human and what's not, will be our intuition. Anything textual/audio/visual will soon be up for debate on its true origins.

Finally sold some silver today.
A roll of quarters for around 424
Melt was 479
Sold fast.
I will list 40 more for 435
I sold 4oz of .999 silver coins on this forum today for 0.00336039 BTC or $282 shipped. Melt (spot?) plus shipping was $274. @OgN - Isn't selling silver bars and coins to a local shop a better and faster option?

its basically at the point where i only pay attention to accounts ive "known" since before the AI slop invasion. all new accounts that "find" their way here now get very little leeway before the ignore button does its thing. HEY @THEYMOS: bring back the glowing ignore button... it was awesome.

K33 Research Firm says Bitcoin’s Long-Term Holder Selling May Be Nearing Its End
Bitcoin has seen sustained sell-side pressure from long-term holders since 2024, but that trend may be nearing exhaustion, according to a new report from research and brokerage firm K33.
The firm estimates that around 1.6 million BTC, worth roughly $138 billion, has re-entered circulation over the past two years as early investors took profits.
K33 head of research Vetle Lunde said the scale of these movements points to deliberate selling rather than technical factors like wallet consolidation or ETF-related transfers.
The report notes that 2024 and 2025 rank among the largest years on record for long-term supply reactivation, driven not by speculation, but by direct selling into deeper institutional liquidity. ► https://cryptonews.com/news/k33-says-long-term-bitcoin-holder-selling-may-be-nearing-exhaustion/

Selling at under melt is not a goal but I don't mind selling the quarters roll by roll. Seeing how they sell. I HAVE a lot and want BTC instead

Do you read articles before posting links? I ask because you continue to post crappy sources that don't even have a clue about the basics in their articles. Example from article number 1 : The daily BTC supply, estimated at around 900 units, has been fully absorbed by purchases from major financial players...The daily issuance of bitcoin remains stable at around 900 BTC per day, according to the protocol ; The current block reward is 3,125 BTC x an average of 6 blocks per hour x 24 hours = about 450 BTC per day. Your source is still in the past. In addition, miners are no longer the ones whose coins significantly affect the price.
