So I live in Howell NJ which is south part of Monmouth county.
He lives in Lakewood NJ which is north part of Ocean county.
The towns share countyline road as a border.

Lakewood NJ is a huge hub of orthodox and ultra orthodox Jews.

Say 125,000 people live there and 85,000 are Jewish.

That would mean 85/125= 67% plus chance he is Jewish he won't pick up the phone today.

So draw a conclusion from that info.

MYSELF I am a lasped Roman Catholic . I stopped after.... Cry

Hey Phil, no offense, are these data from the government,
or are they approximate numbers?
because if this data is correct, it is a very different average from other places...
I can say, a very different number, and it may be that it is above the average of the rest...

# Do you have any source of these numbers?

Yeah I live a few miles from there I spend time there and it is one of the largest concentrations of Jews on the planet.

how many jews live in lakewood new jersey

As of 2025, the Jewish population in Lakewood, New Jersey, is estimated to be over 100,000, comprising approximately 70% of the township's total population.
Key details regarding Lakewood's Jewish community include:
Total Population Growth: Lakewood is one of the fastest-growing municipalities in New Jersey. U.S. Census data from 2022 recorded a population of 133,875, while current unofficial estimates place the total population at over 150,000.
Orthodox Predominance: The vast majority of Lakewood’s Jews are Orthodox, particularly from the Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) community.
Educational Hub: The town is home to Beth Medrash Govoha (BMG), the largest yeshiva in the world outside of Israel, which has more than 6,500 students. There are also over 160 private Jewish day schools (yeshivas) serving more than 42,000 students.
High Birth Rate: Lakewood's growth is driven by one of the highest birth rates in the world. In 2022, there were 5,264 births in Lakewood—more than in Newark, which has more than double Lakewood's total population.
Expansion into Neighboring Towns: Due to crowding and rising costs in Lakewood, significant Orthodox populations have recently established or expanded in neighboring towns like Toms River, Jackson, and Howell.

What most people perceive as "taunting" is actually early-onset, dementia-associated mouth gaping from acute, neurological decline as a result of that uppercut.  He's only 28 but that mouth gape is likely to be a permanent fixture in his near future.

If I were alone (do not want that)

I would move to a warmer place say us virgin islands and plan to spend down at 6%. Maybe 7%

I would spend the cash then the 401k and leave the btc alone.

The pension would take a hit as my wifes pension would survive to me at 50%

I know how to live cheap if I want.

But For now I will be babysitting my bro in law and watching to see what happens with my friend of about 30 years. Hoping his broken hip heals well.

Phil - How did your friend (in his late 70s I think you said) break his hip? I guess like most broken hips, it was probably by falling.

he has a bent spine so he went to his back doctor for a checkup.

he was on the exam table and went to get off it.

since he has back pain he roll on to his side to prep his legs to spin off and down to the floor.

he over rolled and fell directly onto his hip .

and of course as most doctor offices are the floor is hard.

i will wait til sunday to call him as he is religious and wont answer the phone on a sat.

the new hip is done. so i hope he can recover.

Does he practice Jewish tradition (Shabbat) or is he Christian, who believe in resting on the seventh day?

So I live in Howell NJ which is south part of Monmouth county.
He lives in Lakewood NJ which is north part of Ocean county.

So draw a conclusion from that info.

MYSELF I am a lasped Roman Catholic . I stopped after my local church's pastor got a 14 year old pregnant and was taking collection money to support her.

Phil - That sounds like it was Father Brendan Williams, pastor at St. Veronica Parish.  If so, I think he was acquitted, never convicted, according to a friend that lives in Lakewood.

Unfortunately, this is not an answer to your question, but more of an honorable mention.  My answer to your question would be an espresso maker that is no longer made, unfortunately. I believe it was called something like the Solis Master 5000. I loved that unit.  But I am also sure there are other good superautomatic out there that are much newer and probably better looking.  Super automatics are kind of a minefield though. There are good ones and really awful ones that aren't that good and it's actually a product I would look into a lot of reviews. I usually ignore them.

But my honorable mention is the Fellow Aiden. This machine is wonderful for drip coffee and for making pourovers in an automated way.

I recently took a chance and bought one of these gizmos, and I couldn't be more happy. It is a fantastic coffee machine.

Hoping his broken hip heals well.

broken hips are no joke. its likely to be a long recovery. make sure he really takes the physical therapy seriously.

My aunt broke her hip last year just before Christmas and passed away just after Christmas.  It is a traumatic injury for anyone but especially the elderly.

Wow, that's a weird coincidence, exact same thing here.

My brother bought a Breville that meets your requirements but shortly afterward, he stopped drinking coffee.  His wife still drinks coffee but she never quit the pour-over.  I think they only use the Breville when I visit unless I bring coffee beans and then it's pour-over for sure.  I've asked him if he would recommend the Breville; I'll let you know.

What price manipulation?

View Profile
December 20, 2025, 05:05:18 PM

A see something controversial in the charts:

Since Dec 2022 low (3 years):

BCH outperformed Bitcoin during both the last three and one year time frames:

BCH at 97.7 at Dec 2022 low, now 624.12 (up 538.8%)
BCH at 480.65 one year ago, now 624.12 (up 29.84%)

BTC at 15782 at Nov 2022 low, now 87892 (up 456.9%)
BTC at 100070 one year ago, now 87892 (down 12.17%)

My read: there are some parties or a hedge fund (or a multiple of those) that are actively accumulating BCH in the last three years, accelerating in the last year and at the same time the same funds might have been shorting btc (the latter suggestion is a stretch, but could be a logical path).

I can easily see how bch can make itself more "sexy" in the short term...beware.
What would happen to the sentiment in btc if outperformance of bch would increase?
Of course, those bitcoins that were not split since 2017 would get both chains appreciation or the lack of it.

Are there any BCH ETFs (ROFLMAO) on the horizon? If so, it's probably what the Wall Street Shitcoiner faction are playing at. Silent accumulation for the "retail liquidity event". Just think of what pump and dump games may be possible with pre fork coins when it comes to securitzation...ain't seen that yet.

Vercoin [not vertcoin] is at 2015 bitcoin levels and doesn't take that much to push around pricewise relative to the real deal

@vapourminer - Take a look at JURA (Swiss brand), a leader in high-quality automatic coffee centers. Lexus dealerships use this high-quality brand coffee center.

they play btc shorts and want to get a dump under 80 they bet on say 79.5k

I remember there is a bet in place here between JJG and LFC_Bitcoin.

Between who is winning now as price is below 90k?

The due date is way away...

Jay will win the bet. 😜

Jay is a seasoned gambler, he wins most of the time because of his knowledge and skills.

But the other player is also equally knowledgeable. Interesting to see outcome of this bet.

De'Longhi Rivelia, excellent machine and now down to $1200 on Amazon. It is not one of those scam companies where they want you to do yearly maintenance on the grinder or some other stuff just to get more money off of you. I think at this price it is probably unbeatable. 18 recipes it has and you can adjust them however you want and save it.

I have been having my eye on one for some time, but the korn has not yet reached the right price for me to buy it..
