OOM - That's a very interesting and definitely a complicated story about the woman's stolen horse. Did the woman (the original owner of the horse) decide to give you the horse free of charge because she knew you will take good care for it, and she just wanted to be-done with what had taken place with the horse scammer? Did you and/or your wife have to testify in open court proceedings? I've had horses (quarter horses) myself and took great pride in taking good care of them and keeping them healthy. It was a lot of work and expensive for sure! Horse owners are very protective - it never ends well when someone messes with somebody else's horses. Picture of mother and baby in the pasture on property when I lived in North Carolina. What do you mean by repeating the same post?

Oh, yeah, i don't see his posts and also hid the show/hide link using client side filtering. For the sake of politeness, i reply to this one: Yes, we had to testify in open court proceedings. We were mainly resuming what we told the police already, and answered three questions to the scammer's lawyer. Well, i didn't, because i knew he was looking for answers to build his defense, but my wife did. She's not educated in law regards, and most of you know from my older posts that i fought a couple of times against a social insurance corporation and maybe also another civil law trial. And yes, it is expensive, most of the time, but as we do most of the work by ourselves and i also built the barn(s) and infrastructure by myself, we got away cheap. I have access to various farmers offering hay, and to two sawmills, as well as building company, and we work cooperatively, so instead of money we are frequently exchanging services and/or goods. That keeps the costs down quite a bit. Cleaning/caring is shared between the family members, and the return is the riding itself. The blacksmith, also a lady, is fair when it comes to pricing, too. We don't use regular iron horseshoes anyway, but rubber/PU ones that are glued or just strapped on the hoof and ankle. The horse in question is a real beauty when it comes to riding. She is able to a lot of maneuvers and just needs very subtle control. No need for directing her forcefully, just like a puppet on strings. She knows some voiced commands and reacts instantly. We considered quarter horses too in the past. Our neighbor had a few of them, we were allowed to ride. My wife also trained two of them in a weekly course, because the neighbor didn't have the time and had already subscribed. They seemed to be a bit more complicated to handle, but they were real beauties. One day he offered one of them to us, but we didn't want to keep it off the herd and it wasn't well suited for kids or less experienced riders. This one needed a lot of strictness.

I look forward to that and I hope you will agree...

There's no way he's making it out alive. His leg looks fishy His legs probably look fishy because he's been wading into streams and rivers full of dead and dying salmon which are heading upstream to spawn, so he can feed on them. You're right though, that poor bear doesn't know what's about to hit him.
