So even though silver reached 79 and wants to do 80 the ebay sales are a bit slow.

Do you think Silver has topped? Still room to go higher?

I know you didn't ask me and this chart is a few weeks old so silver has gone up even more...  I can't even answer your question because nobody knows for sure.  HOWEVER, I think it is pretty clear that this is the 3rd time silver has bubbled like this and I would be surprised if we don't see a sub-$40 silver price within the next 2 years.  Can we hit $100 first?  Maybe.  Is the market different this time and now silver is going to $1,000?  History would say no.  I was a silver buyer below $20.  I'm a silver seller above $70.

Yeah, it's to be called the "¢5 rusty pipe attack" then.

$0.05 for all that metal? I don't think so. Maybe Phil would know more accurate numbers.

Silver wouldn't get rusty, exactly. But you may get it for that cheap if it would  Wink

was it that big really

I was assuming the pipe was just a piece of waste from a demolition site and i would give the worker a Dollar for a few pieces of delicately bent, broken and totally rusty 2-inch pipe, each several meters in length.
I admit i was lowballing quite a bit, so let's agree on ¢50 per conveniently sized piece of adventurously rotten iron pipe?

EDIT:

It could pass 90 soon.

As for 100 not so sure.

and as for dropping back to 65 soon polymarket gives very good odds that if it goes under 65 before Jan 31- feb 1 you score.

These odds allow me to try a hedge for the next listing.

List a roll of silver dollars at 90 an oz
and bet price falls below 65 and oz on polymarket

That's a fair point.

I think a proper rusty pipe would have to be made of the lowest grade, most rustable type of metal. Something like low-grade iron, which forms flaky, deep, penetrating rust. Something like this:

Now, that's the kind of pipe that's worth its rust.

Rusty pipe not in my house..

Copper of course  Grin

Some Brass cause I can be a P.I.T.A.

and a little bit of stainless steel for longest lasting effect.

Now enough for pipes.

Lets deal with 8marketcap

Silver is now #2 passed Nvidia and moved from about 1.6 trillion to 4.5 trillion in around 128 days.

Lets see if BTC can make the move from 1.8 trillion to 4.7 trillion in 128 days or early may

if silver can do it why not BTC?

What a ride, a tour of time!!!

2163 days on the forum with 4500 posts (quality posts as evident in your Merit number). I think you are one of the few forum members who has more merit numbers than number of posts and it's worth some accolades.

Keep the stride and I must say that you've got more fans than you could imagine.

Hmm, while i'm actually hanging around here since 2017 and most of the Merit i got here for humor, support, photography and writing haikus. I think i also remember solving a where-am-i riddle (or maybe two) in the past?
However, i was never here for fans. This place is much like family.

MSCI decided not to ban Strategy from their indexes. This is pretty big news as it means we won’t see a massive collapse from here in Strategy stock. The biggest fear for the moment is no longer a concern, at least until May’s meeting if they revisit it.

Thought this would come out next week?

Hmm if it is true and triggers a big rally.
I am still too low on btc.

Interesting for me what to hope for.

A much bigger silver spike to 150k? With sideways on btc.

Or

Silver drifting down with btc spiking to 200k in next 120  days.

Well I think I would pick the 200k spike.

I was expecting it on the 15th as well. I’m not sure this means anything to anyone but MSTR holders who have evaded further collapse for now.

Polymarket is giving away free money still…

Polymarket offers a good play. If list silver at 95 an Oz on ebay

And put in a hedge at 65 an Oz on polymarket

Rather than list at 80 an Oz on ebay it could be a good play.
