It seems to me that the price will go up again only when silver gold are not. There definitely seems to be a rotation out of Bitcoin into the PMs. What's worse though is USD falling and BTC falling at the same time. Those of us outside the US are getting creamed by this right now.

When this shit stops I'm sure there will be a rotation back into Bitcoin but at the moment it is not feeling too great.

Well the civil unrest here in the states seems to be one more factor of the price rises.

Hell sold my silver cheap so far. But still more listed.

Perhaps, but PMs are doing a straight up line only. That usually only happens in a mania stage when every man and his dog are selling everything to buy it. I suspect people are seeing the price and not thinking any further. Unsustainable, because they'll run out of money, but by the time PMs peak there will not be any tourists in Bitcoin anymore as they'll have all sold out. Surely it can't go on much longer.

Yeah, but i wouldn't dare to predict the exact top in PMs.

Just finishing a serious snow day here in Toronto with over 60cm (24in) of snow and windchill temperatures in the -20c to -33c range (-4f to
-27F).

When I see people crybabying about a mere foot of snow and barely sub-zero temperatures I shake my head. Around -40 (c or f) is when it gets interesting.

At -55 it becomes life threatening. Your eyelids want to freeze to your eyeballs and you have to move fast. I remember running into a truck stop and when we opened the door a giant cloud of condensed ice crystals filled the outside air. Indoors, it was like someone had used a fog machine. You could see the tabletops but everyone was hidden by fog from the waist down. That was cold.

Absolutely, picking tops with this mania is a shortcut to the poor house.

full-on Waterworld. Times are going to be tough. It's sexy, too!

As in recycled weewee?

Exactly. That first Waterworld scene has had a profound effect on my upbringing, seconded only by the sight of your Sparkle Fairy.

any cup noodle flavor recommendations for this year?

We're going to have to resort to road-kill bone broth.  Why did skunks have to be one of the slowest moving mammals?

Yeah silver jumped to 106 gold got close to 5100. Both ath.

A lot of people think silver and gold will  help when things fall apart.

I SUGGEST ammo ammo ammo ammo.

Bottled water.

Canned tuna
Canned chicken.

May be better than gold silver.

In the meantime  btc is under 87k

Maybe we drop under 85k soon.

I will stack more soon.

Well, you could be right.
I think many normies consider wealth equals survival chances, because they're used to the trading system.
But what if all stores are raided, there's no power to drive electronic cash devices, counters, gas stations?
People don't think ahead that they might lock themselves in for protection, for longer periods of time, they rely on infrastructure, like they always did. But what if the infrastructure fails? Then one wealth would be best invested into water, food and ammo (toilet paper, anyone?).

On the other hand, what is all that gold worth if it is vulnerable to simple $5000 wrench attacks? (inflation pun intended).
And of course, hard to carry unnoticed, in bigger amounts.
Harder than a list of 12 words for sure, which can even be remembered ahead of a boating accident...

Spoiled by progress.
I live near the mountains and we have grid outages at least 2 times a winter, -20c are about the lower temps, but it's a different story under clear night skies, when space is throwing a massive 230K (about -50c) against any surface, including your clothes. We still take a cold plunge for at least a minute after each 20 minute Sauna session, but we have to keep the hole in the ice open, a few times a day. The only thing i'm missing yet is a generator, but those longer running >10k diesel engines aren't cheap and the fuel already wants to freeze in thin pipes outside.
Likely my next "Thanks, Bitcoin!" purchase in a few years. Or moving to a warmer area all together, we'll see  Grin

This is an ugly down.

If it wasn't for the velocity I think I would expect a higher low. But it looks weaker.

a clean 86k on stamp. a higher low so far...

However I would be quite surprised if we went up from here and never visited that number again...

Hoping to do more soon.

So from fall of 2022 when I was corn less due to my decision to save the mine for myself and my 3 partners I have added back 1.5 corn

All mine. I have ended my partnership. I MINE independently now.

All Mine is a good name for your LLC (which you do not need for this lol)

It is elementary for exchanges to sell various coins short.

Yeah, if you love Bitcoin - short it.
#proudhon.was.right

come on, post with your "real" nick, bro.

Nooo, why would I do that?
This nickname is just as real as the original one - if not more. Besides, I don’t really hide who I am.

To entertain your suggestion, Borealice would need to make me a new hat.
Here, something along these lines:

Would also require a red cresent moon, a golden dharma wheel and a rosy coloured cross, embedded side by side somewhere.

Jesus when did we become a bunch of thin skin girlies here?

You’ve always been dear.
Lying is a woman’s tait, real men don’t do that, they don’t have to.

Who is this ermios dipshit?
Smells familiar.

I’ve owned your ass multiple times, so yeah, we are pretty familiar.

I'll get the power plunger.

Hahahahaha, carefull now sweetheart.

Yeah, I feel like a lot of my apocalyptic lunatic rambling might be nice as a little side show when people are discussing actual useful topics, but currently...

You’re a professional liar, but wait till you see my apocalyptic rambling.

If you make the hat and I like it, I will consider wearing it.

Personally, I like weasel.

Me too, I live in weasel creek ffs.

Don't be retarded.  The ONLY real meaningful invention with any of the "cryptos" is proof of work.

Agreed, that’s how it started, but look how it’s going.

Cryptotourist too and there might have been some other user-names.... just a random and mostly unimportant attention-seeking whore.

Said the blithering faggot fuckbot.

Haha! Phil - You are spot-on, and that's funny!  Grin

It’s starting to bleed.
Poor phil … but maybe he likes it, dunno.

It deeply burned inside of my soul that I saw nearly half of my country cheer for both of those deaths.

That shows a lot.

But please, keep up the rhetoric, you will have your civil war, like it or not, exactly as scheduled by your deep overlords.

Semper Fucking FI mother fuckers.

Phil -

Dude.
Put it down. Slowly.

What do you mean by 'save the mine for myself and my 3 partners'?

Phil “mined” the 3 partners. The 3 partners “mined” phil.
All together, they were better known as the 4 muskateers! Grin

Just in time for your birthday on Tuesday!  Wink

You got some hair in your teeth.

The whole "thing" feels engineered.

Nah, it can’t be!

Oh boy.
Almost half of the hashrate went a-wall, now hopefully recovering.
