 ..Silver also melted but gold did not reach that much, holding firmly above 4800,
 with the target at 5200, perhaps the range of gold in 2026 is between 4500~6200,

as a webwalker for decades now i  have to say that its starting to feel real
from simple crawlers and scrapers to complex predictive models AI today is starting to feel useful imo
ive been using a full frontier model the last week and i have to say its what led directly to me resuming posting after a somewhat extended hiatus
breaks are never a bad thing   
anyway...it always comes down to time   time for this time for that  i remain impossibly busy so posting sadly has fallen wayside to real world implementation
using a mixture of experts panel and some simple agentic code has freed a tremendous amount of time spent on relatively mundane tasks
im digging it        the GAN/diffusion models make meme'ing a easy and joyful task again and are only going to improve        rapidly
hybrid AR+ diffusion and pure autoregressive are the cutting edge now and in 12-18 months will likely be able see real time HQ generation on phones and laptops
anyone not using one of these over the next several years is going to get left behind...if there is anything to leave behind i guess
you know what i mean
im starting to get a sense of what the productivity increase will be across the board tho
and i think 30% to 50% is reasonable    there will be job loss and disruption    more so in white collar than blue collar at first
but in the end i think people having more time to pursue areas of interest will be good for society as a whole

garden soil screaming to be tilled....dont see anyone jumping up to do it...so better get after it

I am not NEARLY as plugged into mining compared to several of you (ex Mr. Ma).  But I am even getting drawn into following this and thinking about the mechanics of it.

There have been some big influences on hashrate recently.  The VERY large winter cold snap across North America, and particularly the relationship of mining  and the grid as exemplified by Texas had a significant impact.  And the ever fascinating price action.  Cheaper corn prices out some hardware I imagine (correct if I am wrong).

So now what?  Well it's warmed up across the US, but it is still winter... and the price is ... well famously un-predictable (cue OgN)...

Still, all that said I would be actually concerned if we did not see a decent upward movement...

I can never get brisket from my local butcher.  At first I thought I was just late getting to the cuts but then when I looked online at the reviews I saw one from a very angry man that absolutely tore my butcher to shreds about the quality of his brisket cuts.  I think he gave him a complex or something because I never see brisket there, ever.  The only question I have is what is happening to those cuts of meat?  Is he hiding them?  Throwing them away?  Taking them home for himself?  Very odd.  I will get to the bottom of this...

So now what?  Well it's warmed up across the US, but it is still winter... and the price is ... well famously un-predictable (cue OgN)...

If I told you that we would hit bottom near the end of Q3 this year and peak with Bitcoin's all time high for the next cycle in Q3 of 2029, would you call me crazy or get crazy rich with me?

The last few days we moved from -16 to -11 that indicates that the power is up and mining will do a positive move up for the first time in 7 jumps.

I know one of the 7 downward jumps was like plus 0.1% but I am willing to say it was a negative as the network hit like 4 blocks in 10 minutes to go + 0.1%

I FEEL THAT the last two days prior jump indicate we will do a plus 5%

If we do +4-6% jump in two weeks I would think the large mines are back on track and that they are not cutting back for a while.
