Also someone please tell we still refer to it as a cycle yes, until proven otherwise? Otherwise I might have to contemplate leaving Tongue

I believe that the impact of the cycle has been reducing over time with each iteration of it.

Well that's a relief. I otherwise agree with pretty much everything you said along the lines of the cycle is still there, but is becoming less relevant every epoch. Along with it eventually evaporating. Previously I always thought it was still as relevant for every epoch, just because "market psychology" playing into it, but a lot has changed since the ETFs, less traders more investors, I can see that now. To me it hinges on if there's going to be a major exchange collapse, another epidemic begin, a major invasion of sorts; some sort of catastrophic event for price that causes a capitulation in the final months. If not, then I don't see much happening other than a sizeable shakeout. When people thought the low was in at $60K in Feb I laughed, but I'm not laughing anymore.

If I was busy trading I'd say "we're going down, looks uber bear", but notably paying less attention to the price has me much less bearish these days, for better or for worse.

Well as usual during these sideways times I'm looking for content I haven't seen yet and remembered "3 Body Problem" was damn good and why I haven't seen a new season.

Turns out one guy just got executed for murdering the producer. LOL

That will probably be a movie in a few years.

*google the story its interesting.
That story is absolutely insane—poisoning the billionaire founder over a corporate dispute feels less like a tech company and more like a mafia movie.

Maybe the executive producer was just trying to warn us about the Sophons and the system had to shut him down!

I think I'm going to make myself an "It's different this time..." t-shirt.

If I come up with any good design ideas, I will share them here.

Honestly, this is already getting off to a bang up start.
Wearing the shirt with such feels like a loop of continous not okay.

Well, I would add this. I believe that certain parts of the cycle have already been at least somewhat broken.  And every single cycle I underestimate the impact, because I expect that it is both diminishing and people are catching on.

Imho, the way it is going would suggest a local bottom soon.
Price? Who knows.

I dare to predict that this movement is due to a largely underappreciated legal challenge in NY (I posted about it a couple of times).

A few negatives about it;
1. It allows a potentially uninformed member of judiciary to render an unenforceable verdict.
2. To uninformed public, it might draw a shadow of a cloud over the old unmoved coins.
3. The is a non-zero probability that some well entrenched entity is involved, perhaps indirectly. Make your pick.

Come back to this post at the EOM or about.

EDIT: MtGox move and/or M. Saylor's miniscule sale is/are just noise, not a serious cause(s).

I hate to be the negative one all the time on this thread. Only a few more months though…

This is how STRC buyers get fleeced by the way. It looks like the fundraising opportunity has stopped on Saylor’s latest preferred. Will he launch a STRU preferred offering paying 14% now or are we finally going to see Bitcoin hit $46,000 as the prophecy foretold?

edit: added Nigerian Pidgin - Tank you well well Audrey Simmons!
edit2: correct the Urdu line - Thank you CryptoYar!
While I was in there, I also fixed the bbcode (there were way too many "list" tags for one list - lol) and gave each entry its own line to make corrections simpler in the future.
edit3: removed the English word "amusement" from the simplified Chinese text - not even sure how it got there!  Weird.
edit4: fixed my misspelled "edie3" in my previous edit (d_eddie was living rent-free in my brain!) and added "simplified" to the Chinese so I could then repair the "we/us" which I know is "women" and not "ximen" in the traditional Chinese and finally added the corrected Japanese version - thanks d_eddie!
edit4: fixed the Hebrew.  Not sure how an r got in there... shoddy cut 'n paste I guess wbich might also explain the missing space and "A" in the Tagalog (also fixed).  DAMN!  I spelled HODL incorrectly in the Thai version - also fixed.

I took an online 15 minute IQ test and my results were higher than Einsteins. So I think maybe the IQ claims are not all myths. Mine obviously wasn't.
mine was barely 200% lower than Einsteins so ima super duper genius too
No test needed for me. I know I'm a retard... ask my exes

For some strange reason, I had presumed that you were ONLY a "retard" when it comes to bitcoin.

I did not realize that you may well be "retarded" in other areas beyond bitcoin, as well.

Member when 69420 was funny?
It still is.
I am 69 years old and I purchased 0.00420 btc today
I like your spirit just because of this I also done some emergency buying on this price its looking good.

Maybe I am getting distracted into semantics, but "emergency buying?"

I find it a bit contrary to my own ways to change levels of bitcoin buying aggressiveness based on bitcoin price movements, even though I will concede that I was more emotional about my bitcoin accumulation and/or my attempts to manage my bitcoin holdings in the earlier years of my involvement in bitcoin.

So far, I have never been able to completely remove my own emotions related to bitcoin price moves, so I am not going to proclaim that I am above those who seem to be allowing some emotion into their ways of talking about their bitcoin buys.. .and yeah, maybe I am reading too much into your use of the expression, "emergency buying," since I frequently lecture guys to keep back up funds, and not to consider the buying of bitcoin with their "emergency funds," since buying bitcoin should not be categorized as "an emergency."

I took an online 15 minute IQ test and my results were higher than Einsteins. So I think maybe the IQ claims are not all myths. Mine obviously wasn't.
mine was barely 200% lower than Einsteins so ima super duper genius too
What are the odds to have two super duper geniuses in this here very thread, and even having a super intelligent conversation with each other.
listen you.. stay out of this, this conversation is for super duper genius level peeps ONLY

go take your own Dunning-Kruger test dude and let us know

Mum's the word...

whether I take any such test(s) and/or disclose outcomes - Admittedly, relatively speaking, my attention span might not be very high.

By the way, I hate to admit my own feewings about substance, but I am challenged in my own abilities to appreciate the elevated levels of some of the back and forths going on in these here parts between members whose endowments I had previously taken for granted.    Cry Cry Cry

[edited out]
As for balance of power changing oh well I did sell silver at 110-118 and purchased back at 74-80.

Wow!!!!!!

Buying back bags kind of a "balance"...

Well I am bullish 100% now, if I got your context right
Me and Saylor and some others in 2022 watch when price went from 66k to 16k and we still hold, that didn't kill us I guess it made us stronger
