It is mostly a PR stunt, big claims require strong evidence! I'm sorry, how do you figure? Hugging face found they were breached and determined it was a frontier model and then OpenAI admitted they were so inept their llm outwitted them. I see this as a complete fail on the part of OpenAI, any frontier model can hack a website so this is not PR material. There is the old saying that even bad press is good press. And it's also interesting because the Moonshot kimi (actual open source, too!) model seems to be starting to threaten the American frontier models. And that actually makes me wonder, is it really possible that the agent did this on its own? I almost have a hard time fully buying that. I wonder if it was somehow "prompted" into doing this. I haven't actually read the article though, maybe I'm missing something. 😁 Sorry for also not making this point at the beginning, but didn't Mythos do something similar a few weeks ago and now they claim the same thing happened here? It seems to me that this is a PR stunt by Altman to demonstrate that they are able to keep up with Mythos, it seems too much of a coincidence in a short amount of time. I would not believe anything he says unless it is validated by outside entities. Here I found it again. This is why I don't believe them at all. Your right not to trust that snake Altman but the thing is they already got the Defense dept. contract for hacking and spying that Anthropic turned down. Something is not adding up. They don't need the PR, they already have the contract. *just did a mile lap on the bike and can't breath, gotta quit smoking for the hundreth time.

Maybe you could consider that it puts them a bit in a bad light for future contracts if the perception is that someone else's model can do some things that theirs can't. A kind of look our kid can also do this, he is not falling behind situation.

I keep making it a few weeks or month and relapse. :| Chewing nicorette right now. @Hueristic - Quitting 'cold turkey' is usually the best method. Studies confirm quitting 'cold turkey' yields higher long-term success rates than weaning. While the first month is brutally tough, physical withdrawal fades significantly by day 30. With decent willpower after a month, it'll be easier to give it up - and after another 2-3 months you'll probably totally despise it and you won't go back. You can do it!

good grief apparently one of the squirrels has spawned
squirrels are spamming my yard
My potatoes have been killed. Murdered by little yellow/golden ants. I hear chocolate-covered, golden ants are all the rage. I bet you could trade some for potatoes.

LLM said this eldorf;
** ** ** Fusible Link: The Veldorf is not a standard part number for an HP server motherboard and locked up! Is that bad? It's a supermicro board so I have no clue what it was doing at all. I think it's time to go touch some grass. Watch out for the golden ants!

you guys with your exact dates. i stopped smoking (vaping) a few years ago.. thats about as close as i can make it. same with a particular drug that had me back in the day, no particular date of cessation just 50 odd years ago for that one. basically, as i managed to stop before i die, its a close enough timeframe i reckon

Cant remember what day I meet my wife. March 4 to March 8 1985 is all I got. One of those five days.
