Apparently there is a transition taking place from red to green.... Well, those colors are always in transition, then... can change from green to red, if that transition isn't successful, and those kinds of colors.... These types of colors cannot be differentiated by those who have color blindness.

also, high spikes on daily and weekly buy volume, a bit above from average...

I can say that the odds of staying below 60k have increased by 2%, now it's 95% that the price won't go below 60k this year :{

Now I am waiting to read reasons why price went so high in short duration. People always have reasons whether its price drop or increase.

My own belief is that the price was simply too low, possibly pushed by AI FOMO. This is simply a return to where the price should be around now.

A great run. I forgot what it was like to see the number go up. Now we wait for the correction to find out how much strength is really supporting this price move. Seems like the big guys have made their move though. I expect they will try everything they can to keep this rally going.

I agree. And by the way, I'm glad you found your way back to the thread.

well if you think mining has any value 75k-85k works at the current difficulty

62-67k was too low if you believe mining hold the bottom line for price.

6 cent power has always worked for top of the line gear since 2012.

so 270x0.0384=10.36

and 87 Kwatts=  5.18
net of             $ 5.18  and power cost is 50% for a 6 cent miner

but

at 57 k price

270x 0.028 =.  7.56
and 87 kwatts= 5.18
2.38 and power cost is  68.5% for a 6 cent miner.

do 7 cents and 7.56- 6.09 =1.47  and power cost is 80.5%

do 8 cents and 7.56-6.96=0.6  and power cost is 92%

mining was in serious trouble for most of 2026 it finally looks okay not good not great but okay. Maybe we get to the number I want 85k and rising steady.

but for now my mine is good.

What keeps rally's going is when the dumasses smarten up that they are never going to get back in cheaper and stop gifting away their coins at the bottom.

I agree. And by the way, I'm glad you found your way back to the thread.

My bearishness was clearly annoying the fine patrons of this thread so I decided I would steer clear until I was feeling a bit more bullish. While I am cautious at the moment and won’t be making any special buys chasing this rally, it is almost time for me to turn back into an up only bull again for the next 3 years.

I think mining has value but I've never thought it drove the price. (it may act as a bit of a buffer but mostly because miners are also interested in the price).

I told people to sell at $117K and when it fell below $80K I said it was too late and to accumulate. Don’t put that BS on me…

Yes, but you were also mostly a bear from Feb to, let's be generous and say, mid August, telling everyone to load up in October if i recall correctly....same as the infamous Ben Cowen with his child-like calls based on a exact fit to the prior bottoms. No offense, please, as by "you" i meant your ideas, not you as a person.

Yes, you also DCAed, so I don't consider you a "true bitcoin bear" like P. Schiff, more like a tactical trader.

The point I am trying to make is that it is a fallacy to think of an exact correlation between a time in a "cycle" and a price.
This correlation shouldn't exist by now, or be very diminished.

Could this be a "premature" rally that would reverse upon a stock market derp, come October?
Yes, but for now it is not "cycling" the way it "should" have, as predicted by the endless "40K in October" pundits.

Well it topped 70k for a new high way before the 2024 April halving so it was ahead of schedule.

So the argument would be that was shorter cycle.

March 8 2024  was the first time we did an ath ahead of the halving .

So does it mean the cycle was too short to be 4 years.

If so then all bets are off and while this could be a bear trap I remind you how fast did we see silver move from 33 dollars to 120 dollars.

Elon Musk has stated that Bitcoin is his largest personal holding outside of his companies, Tesla and SpaceX.

Elon Musk, the wealthiest man on planet Earth knows the value of Bitcoin!  Rumor is he will be accumulating more BTC. I think he might have the wherewithal to accomplish that!

Wrong. I started buying and posting in this thread that I was buying last December…

I made my first monthly DCA buy now that I have a program in place and the price has retreated a bit from the all time high. I look forward to making this a monthly thing over this next cycle to make sure I capture the lows as we roll into a bear market. Somebody has to buy now that MSTR is talking usd dividends…

Today, I purchased 0.01442786 BTC for $1,246.38 at a price of $86,387.03 per BTC.

If you are still in denial about the 4-year cycle then I don’t know what to say. I’ll sell again in 2029 and buy through 2030. Feel free to do the opposite if it suits you, but I can’t be blamed if people bought the top in 2025 and sold in 2026. That’s the exact opposite of what I said to do and showed I was doing…

Did this not sound bullish to you?

What are some strategies you guys are using to accumulate more Bitcoin? I am selling goods for BTC, buying BTC with regular DCA buys, using credit card rewards to stack, taking advantage of exchange offers of interest on BTC for a portion of my holdings, using interest on dollar deposits for BTC, offering services for BTC, and solo mining. What am I missing?

Ahem, if you sold $high 6-7 fig btc in October, then bought a thou or two thou in December, it amounts to almost nothing, would you agree?
Psychologically, yes, you were perhaps buying, but you were also posting about bottoming out in October, right?

Re the cycle...if 58k proves to be a bottom, then it was not really a cycle (with just 54% decline, which is less than some AI stocks in July decline)).
What in the next one-a 30% decline?-then is is truly not a cycle anymore.

That said, i still think that we might get some nasty Oct "surprise" just to "cleanse the palate".
It is possible, but not highly probable, considering that the big whales in tradfi already loaded up.
