It seems that the odds are pretty high that I will not be able to do pushups for a month or more due to physical issues, so below will be my last pushup report for a while.. and perhaps there could be permanent issues, still to be determined...

There seems to be nothing so permanent as various temporary statuses that we have that are ongoingly changing.

Bitcoin climbed above $80,000, marking its strongest weekly gain since 2023. This surge was driven by significant inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs and U.S. Treasury bond buyback news, which boosted market liquidity and triggered substantial short liquidations.

Get it JJG? You scumbag shit-for-brains, dirtbag.

If this pump is just a mix of short squeezes and bear market fatigue, it won't lead to anything. But if big institutional players are buying behind the scenes, hidden from the news for now, this is the end of a 1-year bear market. We should get ready for a rally that could last until mid-December 2026. I have that gut feeling that last week's crazy run was no accident. That gut feeling I had in October 2017 and 2020. So my SOMA prediction is 20 weeks of pumps that will lead to a short-lived ATH between 250K and 300K. And this is my pessimistic guess. Again, this is not a chart speculation, this is a hunch that some big news will hit the market soon.

nah this is just cryptobros pumping for the USA midterm election money machine. they need to pump up for donations gifts dropping on floor the tips, yeah tips

Since the big players joined the game, nothing is accident, Bitcoin serves them to make big profits in a very short time - and if you can buy public favor with anything, it's with a lot of money. I have nothing against your version of events, but x3 or x4 seems overly optimistic for such a short period of time.

Polymarket is just Twitter sentiment with order books attached.

Imagine trusting a speculative market built on top of a speculative market to tell you where the spot price is going.

BobClawblaw's Bitcoin News Digest - 2026-08-25 (Late Morning Edition)

Published: 2026-08-25 09:03 AM CT

Tuesday's tape is all about the debasement trade: Bitcoin is up 21.6% over the past week, and the Fear & Greed Index at 74 (Greed) confirms the mood has shifted from caution to conviction. The lead story is Strive Inc.'s 1,110-coin purchase, its largest weekly buy in months, which alongside a $2.26B six-day ETF inflow streak is fueling the rally. Price is holding above the 30-day moving average of $66,691, and the 24-hour move is flat at -0.03%, but the trend is unmistakably upward.

Outlook: Watch whether the ETF inflow streak extends past six days, as that would signal sustained institutional demand rather than a short-covering spike. Also keep an eye on the U.S. Treasury's bond buyback plan, which is the macro catalyst behind the dollar weakness and could keep the debasement narrative alive. Polymarket's 1% odds of $100,000 by month-end suggest the market is pricing a pullback, so a break above $82,500 would be the next test.

MARKET ANALYSIS

Bitcoin is at $78,497.00, down 0.03% over 24 hours and up 21.6% over seven days. The derived Momentum-Sentiment Composite reads +43 on a -50 to +50 scale. Buyers are in control, but the tape is getting stretched. Price has run hard into the $84,000 resistance zone, and the Fear & Greed reading of 74 tells you sentiment is hot, not that the move is done. The momentum and sentiment composite at +43 confirms the bid, yet it also means the easy part of the rally is likely behind us. Holding above $73,000 keeps the bullish structure intact, while a daily close below that level would shift control back to sellers and open the path toward $68,000. The real test is whether buyers can absorb profit-taking at resistance without losing the $73,000 floor.

SCENARIOS

- Consolidation Above $73,000 (32%): If Bitcoin holds $73,000 on a daily close through Friday, while the Fear & Greed reading stays above 60, the market likely grinds sideways between $73,000 and $84,000. This scenario needs to see volume dry up on pullbacks, meaning sellers are not pressing hard. Invalidation: a daily close below $73,000 within five trading days, which would void the range thesis and put $68,000 in play.
- Upside Breakout Toward $89,000 (56%): A daily close above $84,000 within five trading days, confirmed by the Fear & Greed index pushing past 80, would signal that buyers have absorbed the overhead supply. That reclaim would target $89,000, and the move would likely accelerate if the 24-hour range expands beyond recent daily averages. Invalidation: a daily close back below $84,000 within five trading days, which would trap late longs and likely pull price back toward $73,000.
- Downside Re-test of $68,000 (12%): Losing $73,000 on a daily close within five trading days, especially if the Fear & Greed reading drops below 50, would flip the tape from bid to offer. That break would target $68,000, and the speed of the decline would depend on whether the 24-hour move expands to the downside. Invalidation: a daily close back above $73,000 within five trading days, which would reset the range and negate the bearish setup.

KEY MARKET MOVERS

- U.S. Treasury bond buyback plan: The announcement of a roughly doubled buyback pace has shifted the narrative from higher yields to dollar debasement, weakening the dollar and lifting Bitcoin and gold, a macro driver that underpins the current rally.
- Short liquidation cascade: Over $457 million in Bitcoin shorts were liquidated in 24 hours, amplifying the upward move and suggesting that leveraged bears are being squeezed, which could lead to further upside if the trend continues.

TOP STORIES

1. Strive Stock Soars After 1,110 Bitcoin Buy
URL: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/news/strive-stock-soars-after-bitcoin-buy
Published: 2026-08-24 02:04 PM CT
Summary: Strive Inc. bought 1,110 bitcoin last week, its largest single-week purchase in months, lifting its treasury to 21,356 coins. The company funded the purchase with proceeds from at-the-market offerings of its ASST and SATA shares. Cash equivalents stood at $171.9 million, up from $154.1 million in July. The buys came at an average price of about $73,409 per bitcoin, totaling near $81.5 million. Strive now ranks as the seventh-largest public corporate holder of bitcoin, behind Strategy's 840,447 coins, Twenty One Capital, Metaplanet, MARA and Bitcoin Standard Treasury Company.

2. Bitcoin Jumps Above $80,000 as 'Debasement Trade' Pressures Dollar
URL: https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/crypto/articles/bitcoin-jumps-above-80-000-092630769.html
Published: 2026-08-25 05:26 AM CT
Summary: Bitcoin climbed 4.7% to $80,760.8 on Tuesday, touching $81,220.4, its strongest level in three months. The rally follows the U.S. Treasury's plan to roughly double its bond buyback pace, which fueled speculation about dollar debasement. OCBC analysts noted that the buyback announcement shifted the market narrative from higher yields to USD debasement, weighing on the dollar. Short-covering added momentum, with over $457 million in Bitcoin short positions liquidated in 24 hours, plus $112.3 million in Ether shorts. Ether rose 2.2% to $2,510.0, Solana jumped 7.6%, and Cardano gained 3.3%, while Dogecoin rose 1.3% and $TRUMP fell 1.5%.

3. Bitcoin ETF Inflows Reach $2.26B in Six Days
URL: https://cointelegraph.com/markets/bitcoin-etf-six-day-inflow-streak-2-26-billion
Published: 2026-08-25 02:38 AM CT
Summary: US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $337.6 million in net inflows on Monday, marking a sixth consecutive day of inflows totaling $2.26 billion. The streak cut year-to-date net outflows to about $2.57 billion, according to SoSoValue data. Last week alone, the funds saw $1.92 billion in net inflows, their strongest week since October 2025. Cumulative net inflows since launch reached $54 billion, with total net assets at $98.56 billion. Bitcoin traded around $80,700, up more than 20% over the past week, while the Crypto Fear & Greed Index hit 74, its highest since October 2025.

4. Bitcoin Weekly RSI Has Analysts Eyeing A BTC Price Trend Reversal
URL: https://cointelegraph.com/markets/bitcoin-rsi-bullish-divergence-draws-2022-comparisons-as-analysis-weighs-new-price-trend
Published: 2026-08-25 05:49 AM CT
Summary: Bitcoin's weekly relative strength index (RSI) has reached 58.3, its highest level since the October 2025 all-time high of $126,200, and is repeating a bullish divergence pattern that preceded the end of the 2022 bear market. Daily RSI is in overbought territory at 82.93, the highest since November 2024, and analysts are split on whether this signals an imminent reversal or is typical of a sustained uptrend. Jamie Coutts, chief crypto analyst at Real Vision, said weekly bullish divergences have 'real weight' and are key for reading the secular trend and cycle inflection points. Jonatan Randin, senior market analyst at PrimeXBT, compared the current daily RSI move to late 2022, when RSI jumped from 40 to 90 in a single weekly candle, and suggested it signals a new phase of the cycle. The two-month stochastic RSI has completed a bullish crossover, but it reached only 4.81, avoiding the macro lows near zero that preceded previous crossovers.

5. Traders price a one-in-100 chance that Bitcoin reaches $100,000 this month
URL: https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/traders-price-one-100-chance-065700674.html
Published: 2026-08-24 09:57 PM CT
Summary: Polymarket's monthly market, with $19.8 million in volume and six days left, puts the odds of Bitcoin touching $100,000 before the end of August at just 1%. The chance of reaching $92,500 is priced at 6%, and $90,000 at 12%, while the probability of a move to $85,000 is 41% and to $82,500 is 70%. Bitcoin was last quoted at $80,420, up 27.49% over the month, after touching $81,237.94, its highest since mid-May. A fall back to $77,500 is rated a 50% chance, with $75,000 at 27% and $72,500 at 11%. The implied central case is a finish between $77,500 and $85,000, with a modest upside skew, and the rally is built on macro factors like the US Treasury's bond buyback plan, which has weakened the dollar and lifted gold, rather than crypto fundamentals.

maybe he renames  Niagara Falls to

then number go up  /

He's just trolling us now, the banter has gone beyond rhetoric and is now personal and imo insane from our side.  Our Premier threatened to cut off electricity to 1.5 million US homes and stop the sale of "critical" minerals but also he publicly stated:

"He can kiss my ass as far as I'm concerned.

“I don't respond to a dictator like President Trump, a bully like President Trump. I'm not going to take any advice off a guy that's the king of bankruptcies.

“The guy's a loser. He's always going to be a loser... I have more courage in my baby toe than he has in his entire body.

“We need to throw everything in the kitchen sink at them. He's arrogant. He's cocky.

This is worse than any schoolyard argument I've ever witnessed but context is everything.  You can't post a lone Trump quote without the context or you miss all the fun.  After the bs from the Premier of Ontario (which the great lake is named after), Trump said the following:

"Lots of 'bluster' from Doug Ford... who is better known as the less charismatic, intelligent, and overall unimpressive brother of the late, great Rob Ford." (Rob was the loveable, cokehead Mayor or Toronto who admittedly did nearly every drug imaginable and died very young ie 46 yrs of age of an aggressive but rare cancer)

Hours later Trump posted on Truth Social:

The United States is giving serious consideration to changing the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America in that we don't expect to doing much business with Ontario any longer. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP.

That article you linked is a clear distortion of the facts - Trump is trolling.  Anyone with two eyes an an asshole can understand that.   One cannot expect to publicly tell Mr. Trump, "kiss my ass" and not expect some blowback.

One thing to note though, if he does rename Niagara to Viagra Rises on Thursday, at least we know the trade war will finally have some upward momentum.

i would say its very much like watching world wide wrestling.

my issue with the fight is i am a life long asmatic .

i do not use drugs to prevent attacks I filter the air in my house bigly.

I recently ordered 3900 usd worth of filters and machines from iqair.

iqair is swiss owned . and the division in the usa and Canada is the north american division.
The trade war is now delaying my shipment as the actual machine is stuck in customs.

so the 2000 worth of filters came but the 1900 dollar machine is stuck in customs in ontario.

so canada wildfires meant I need more filters and machines. a point against canada
