A blast from the past for sure! Smiley

Taxation is theft.

I hate tax day.

EDIT: Today, I am working on getting an DOS emulator working in BlockYard, and getting Shareware DOOM to run as a diversion.

Life is good.

EDIT2: A few hours later...

.. I'm not even kidding. It's live on github. Gunna wait a while before updating the npm. Github will be my live playhouse

This AI stuff is kinda crazy. (tl;dr: It wrote a DOS emulator in JS so it could play DOOM 1.9 Shareware in-browser, within the app)

Tuesday Morning F.U.D.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/politics/articles/us-deployed-space-weapon-air-015206073.html

US confirms for first time it has deployed space weapons

how bout a little A.I. hack?

how does that 10% in 10 Years guess look for us now?

Cool so now when the AI escapes it has weapons.

Guess the AI will still need proof-of-work if it wants to pay for its own satellite fuel. Cool

Big day today if they approve Clarity ore not.

$70k ore $100k.

SEC and the CFTC are pro Bitcoin with ore without Clarity.

Going to the gym, have a nice day.

hypothetically

Bitcoin feels a little shake.
Governments think they're creating  earthquake.

The Clarity Act vote is happening as I type this. Which way is it going to go? Anyone have any last predictions? Judging from some of the social media posts this morning I don’t think it will pass. Democrats have been saying it should be blocked and I don’t think they will pass it no matter what. As usual, I hope I’m wrong.

That is pretty cool...  Speaking of a blast from the video game past...  I read that Blizzard recently found a bunch of mostly finished add-ons for their old games and supposedly a new Warcraft III campaign will be released.  I spent so many hours mastering that game.  I still count my standing as one of world's best players on Case's Ladder (anybody remember that?) as one of my greatest childhood accomplishments.  I even remember wanting to build my own version of Case's Ladder in high school, but bandwidth was a major hurdle back then, even for an all text website if you were running it out of your house.  I hope they do bring back Warcraft III, maybe my friends have forgotten how they wouldn't play with me when we were younger and could use a reminder of why. it can't pass today.

the democrat vs republican bias will stop the passing of it.

Most non crypto people have zero understanding of crypto and that it should be as bipartisan as the stock market.

and the dem v repub know this. so yet another way of btc price suppression.

ugh.

Update:

and blocked it is

49 for it  to 50 against it.  with 3 republicans breaking ranks.

we dropped to 74.7k and are now at 75.8k

We’re going to get a double whammy when they raise interest rates… Somehow the news always seems to bend around the four year cycle… The next time we retest the lows, I recommend buying hand over fist. Probably going to happen quickly when it does and before the end of the year.

Many people will probably hate me for saying this, I don't want the clarity act to get passed, but either ways Bitcoin will be fine, it doesn't even need Clarity Act to survive, I believe it's the alternative coins that needs this Clarity Act.

Elizabeth Warren was venting out anger on the idea of Clarity Act and saying sort of things about the hidden plan that those who wanted it to pass has, it's like they will be free to do as they want, illegally moving of funds the most.

My own reason is what Trump and his family did after they got in power, that's a stupid sign that these people want this thing to get passed for their own good, I don't like Elizabeth Warren but something about what she said might be true.

Trump shilled the $Trump token and now he denied having anything to do with the memecoin, they aren't been honest with crypto let's be honest, they run after things they can benefit from and most of the times in illegal way.

With good reason. It is difficult for investors to sit in Bitcoin while cash is paying 6% and with interest rates rising we can expect layoffs and foreclosures coming down the pipeline. Not an environment for speculative assets.

There is good news in the pipeline though. The American Reserve Modernization Act of 2026 is progressing and with a name like that it sounds like they’re going to try and get it passed this year. As soon as the market gets a whiff that this will pass it will lead to the mother of all rallies. In comparison, nothing else moves the needle except maybe Strategy getting into the S&P 500.

Cash is NOT paying 6%, unless you use some "schemes" like Kraken, etc.
Money market yield is 3.5-3.75%, will probably become 4% tomorrow.

I don't find it difficult to "sit" in bitcoin, none at all, considering all present and future money printing.

Banks bit themselves in the azz today, that's for sure.
They would become irrelevant faster now....good riddance.

X Money pays 6%. Coinbase just had a deal where they were offering 6.5% (for a limited time). Even my bonds are paying nearly 5%. Rates are still rising… I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw someone start offering 7% on FDIC insured deposits soon. We may be in the Cash is King phase, if even for only a short while.

Bonds are NOT cash...I am sure that you know this, but somehow you demur.

X Money-to get that 6% (for now), you need to be X premium or Premium plus OR standard premium with qualifying direct deposits.
I like my cash collecting interest, but I surely not going to risk it on Xmoney, Coinbase or Kraken when they may limit your withdrawals on a whim.
These are untested companies as far as money management is concerned, imho.

I have shared my opinion in that thread already, and you did an impressive job even though you admit it was done with the AI.
I do almost 90% codes with AI as well. However, I am interested to know which AI are you using for the UI? Specifically which model?

I heard ChatGPT 6 Astra is doing something extra-ordinary. But I didn't get a chance yet to try it.

X Money is backed by the richest man in the world and one of the largest companies in the world while deposits are insured by the Federal Government. I think it is probably alright to trust. I already had X Premium+ anyway, and am trusting Grok Bot to register and operate an LLC on my behalf. We’ll see how it turns out. My regular bank doesn’t make me do a face scan to send funds… Seems safer to me.
