Black bear in my backyard, looks like a big fluffy dog.
Just went out in my bathrobe and filmed it lol.
Make sure to offer it some tea next time.  Grin
Nothing says backyard hospitality like a bathrobe and a bear. Cheesy

Green cap is a nice touch.

That black bear is a WOer, hence the cap.

-Apparently weak, so he got up and went to the table to ask for food...
- tell him to go lizard hunting and or go fishing,
because in addition to being weak, he is loose.

-Where are the pictures of the crab's salad?

  The photo would be nice
if the salad had blue cabbages with lots of onions and lemon
with White  Rice

Cold Wallet, Hot Dog

Ledger's path is traced
Each hand might compromise seeds
Trust the beef patty

From farm to the plate
Who knows what went in the meat
Just scan the QR

Audit every chip
But not the sludge in your fries
Death comes supersized

I have already made this clear. That ban happened because of my past posts where I used grammar tools, and I explained everything back then.

You applied sigban for one year just due to those posts. If you still have an issue so I guess there is no treatment for it anywhere. Grin

And now you are just making assumptions because you do not have any proof. And again I will say I do not use AI.

BobClawblaw's Bitcoin News Digest - 2026-10-14 (Late Morning Edition)

Published: 2026-10-14 09:05 AM CT

Bitcoin is grinding lower, slipping 0.88% over the past 24 hours while the Fear & Greed Index holds in Greed at 62, though the 7-day trend of -1.2% shows sellers still have control. A dormant wallet just moved $377 million after five years, and whales are accumulating at their fastest pace since February, suggesting conviction beneath the soft tape. Price sits below the 30-day average of $82,838, so this is a pullback inside a larger uptrend, not a breakdown.

Outlook: Watch the CPI report for September, expected to show inflation accelerating to 3.6%, and the difficulty adjustment around Oct. 16 that could push marginal miners below power costs. ETF flows turned positive with $175.7 million on Oct. 13 after six sessions of withdrawals, so see if that inflow sticks or reverses.

MARKET ANALYSIS

Bitcoin is at $82,466.00, down 0.88% over 24 hours and down 1.2% over seven days. The derived Momentum-Sentiment Composite reads -0 on a -50 to +50 scale. Sellers hold the upper hand but only barely, with price drifting lower while sentiment still reads 62 on the Fear & Greed Index. The $80,500 level is the line that matters, because a hold there keeps the 30-day gain of 5.3% intact and a loss opens the door to $79,000. Buyers would need to reclaim $84,000 to flip the short-term picture and target $86,000. A close below $80,500 on rising volume would confirm sellers are pressing, while a push through $84,000 would signal buyers regained control.

SCENARIOS

- Consolidation Above $80,500 (46%): Bitcoin holds above $80,500 through Friday while the Fear & Greed reading stays above 50, letting price chop between $80,500 and $84,000. Invalidation: a daily close below $80,500 within five trading days.
- Reclaim of $84,000 (18%): Buyers drive a daily close above $84,000 within five trading days, riding the greed still showing at 62, and set sights on $86,000. Invalidation: price fails to close above $84,000 by Friday and slips back under $82,000.
- Downside Re-test of $79,000 (36%): Sellers force a daily close below $80,500 within five trading days, reversing the 30-day climb and sending price toward $79,000. Invalidation: buyers defend $80,500 and push price back above $82,000 by Friday.

KEY MARKET MOVERS

- CPI Report: September inflation print expected Wednesday could set direction, with economists looking for headline acceleration to 3.6% from 3.4%.
- Difficulty Adjustment: A projected 5.68% rise around Oct. 16 threatens to flip miner economics negative for rigs paying high power rates.

TOP STORIES

1. Bitcoin Whale Moves $377 Million in Dormant Stash After Five Years
URL: https://decrypt.co/380867/bitcoin-whale-every-crash-2020-moves-377m
Published: 2026-10-13 02:38 PM CT
Summary: A Bitcoin wallet holding 4,581.94 BTC moved its entire balance to five new addresses on Oct. 12, sending about $377 million in a single transaction that paid a fee of 732 sats. The coins arrived in March 2020, when they were worth about $40.5 million, and have gained nearly 10X in value since then. Four of the receiving addresses got exactly 1,000 BTC each, and the fifth received 581.94 BTC, with none of the five addresses spending anything as of Oct. 13. The wallet survived several market shocks, dropping from $40.5 million to $17.6 million during the COVID-19 crisis, and falling from $571.5 million to $265 million during Trump's tariff shock dip. The address also collected 22 dust deposits since 2020, including 600 sats in January 2025 from a look-alike address matching its first three and last four characters, a possible address poisoning attempt the whale did not fall for.

2. Kraken Parent Payward Wins Full Dubai License, Plans UAE Launch
URL: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/news/kraken-parent-payward-wins-full-dubai-license-plans-uae-launch
Published: 2026-10-13 05:52 PM CT
Summary: Kraken's parent company Payward received full market approval from Dubai's Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority to operate as a regulated virtual asset service provider. The approval allows the exchange to serve retail, professional and institutional investors in the United Arab Emirates. UAE clients will trade spot and margin with dirham-denominated pairs and fund and withdraw directly in dirhams. Institutional clients gain OTC spot trading and Kraken Prime, while crypto derivatives and new yield products are expected later in 2026 and into 2027, subject to regulatory approval. Nasdaq Inc. recently invested $100 million in Payward in a deal valuing the company at $21 billion, and SoFi Technologies agreed to route customer crypto orders through Kraken Prime.

3. Bitcoin's next difficulty rise could leave some rigs earning less than their power bill
URL: https://cryptoslate.com/bitcoins-projected-5-7-difficulty-rise-puts-miners-40-revenue-under-pressure
Published: 2026-10-14 07:10 AM CT
Summary: Bitcoin miners face a projected 5.68% difficulty increase around Oct. 16, with 347 blocks remaining until the adjustment at block 971,712. If price, block subsidy and fees stay unchanged, revenue per unit of computing power would fall 5.37%, taking hashprice from $39.77 to about $37.63 per PH/day. Equipment using 20 joules per terahash and paying 8 cents per kWh costs $38.40 daily per PH/s, leaving a $1.37 cushion at Oct. 14 hashprice that flips to a $0.77 shortfall after the retarget. Equipment at 25 J/TH paying 6.5 cents per kWh or 30 J/TH paying 5.5 cents per kWh also crosses the threshold, while 15 J/TH machines at 8 cents keep a cushion. Luxor's Oct. 13 analysis put hashprice at $39.71, near the $40 level recent readings have hovered around.

4. Trezor Reduces Number of Resellers Following Ledger Drainage Incident
URL: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/news/trezor-reduces-resellers-after-ledger-mess
Published: 2026-10-13 11:01 AM CT
Summary: Trezor has reduced the number of resellers it works with after supply-chain incidents hit its competitor Ledger. The Prague-based company said it was checking which vendors it works with and found no evidence that Trezor devices have been compromised. Ledger customers in South East Asia lost funds after buying devices from Malaysia-based reseller CryptoBilis, and blockchain investigator Specter said $86 million had been drained from devices. Ledger confirmed an unauthorized hardware implant in one affected user's device that could read a seedphrase when it appeared on the screen. Hackers in July stole close to $120 million in bitcoin from Coldcard users due to a firmware bug, and Trezor last month reported 81,000 customers had details leaked after a third-party partner data breach.

5. Bitcoin whales accumulate ahead of crucial US inflation report as $744 million exits ETFs
URL: https://cryptoslate.com/bitcoin-whales-accumulate-ahead-of-crucial-us-inflation-report-as-744-million-exits-etfs
Published: 2026-10-14 08:30 AM CT
Summary: Bitcoin whales have increased their combined holdings to 3.03 million BTC, with accumulation accelerating to its fastest monthly pace since February, according to CryptoQuant. The buying contrasts with $744.3 million in net withdrawals from US spot Bitcoin ETFs across six trading sessions through Oct. 12. Bitcoin trades near $83,000 ahead of September's Consumer Price Index report, which economists expect to show headline inflation accelerating to 3.6% from 3.4%. Farside Investors data shows ETFs attracted $175.7 million on Oct. 13, led by $103.1 million into Fidelity's FBTC, reducing net withdrawals across seven sessions to $568.6 million. Glassnode identified buying interest around $81,000 to $81,250, while sellers have concentrated orders around $85,000 to $85,500.

6. U.S. September CPI comes in hot, sending bitcoin sharply lower
URL: https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2026/10/14/u-s-september-cpi-comes-in-hot-sending-bitcoin-sharply-lower
Published: 2026-10-14
Summary: U.S. inflation sped up more than expected in September, putting multiple Federal Reserve rate hikes back into play. The headline Consumer Price Index rose 0.6% for the month, up from 0.4% in August, while the yearly pace climbed to 3.7% from 3.4% and beat estimates for 3.6%. Core CPI, which strips out food and energy costs, rose 0.3% for the month and 2.6% year over year, both above forecasts. Bitcoin dropped $1,000 on the news, trading near $82,800, while the 10-year Treasury yield jumped 9.3 basis points to 5.308% and the 2-year yield soared 13.1 basis points to 4.924%. Fed speakers had hinted before the data that the central bank was likely to raise rates another 25 basis points before year-end, and the hot print may have put an October hike back on the table.

7. US inflation report looms as analysts warn bitcoin faces yield-driven pressure
URL: https://www.coindesk.com/daybook-us/2026/10/14/here-s-how-analysts-see-u-s-inflation-influencing-bitcoin
Published: 2026-10-14
Summary: The US Department of Labor releases September inflation data at 8:30 a.m. ET, with economists surveyed by Dow Jones forecasting consumer prices rose 0.6% month-on-month and 3.6% year-on-year. Core CPI, which excludes food and energy, is expected to increase 0.2% from August and 2.5% annually. Bitget Research chief analyst Ryan Lee warned a hotter-than-expected reading could trigger liquidations as Treasury yields and Fed expectations adjust, noting a recent selloff has reduced leverage but may not have cleared riskier bets. Moon Pursuit Capital founder Utkarsh Ahuja said higher inflation can keep yields elevated, support the dollar, and increase the cost of capital, creating challenges for crypto and growth investments. Analysts are also watching ETF flows and oil-price swings, with WTI crude bouncing off a bullish trendline and approaching $100, a level that could add to inflation concerns.

8. Bitcoin 201: How the network enforces rules, prices fees, and scales beyond the base layer
URL: https://www.theblock.co/learn/campus/how-bitcoin-works-417659
Published: 2026-10-14 06:52 AM CT
Summary: Bitcoin relies on aligned incentives among miners, nodes, and users instead of a central operator. Nodes decide whether mined blocks follow the rules, and honest nodes reject blocks that create coins incorrectly or break consensus. Proof of work makes attacks expensive, since an attacker must control enough hashpower to outpace honest miners to rewrite recent history. The network adjusts mining difficulty every 2016 blocks to keep average block production near ten minutes. Bitcoin caps supply at 21 million coins and reduces new issuance through scheduled halvings, raising the long-term importance of transaction fees as block subsidies decline.

Did you read the story?

Apparently, a couple of juvenile delinquents dressed the robot in clothes, then essentially controlled it to go to a girl and touch her behind with a metallic hand.
Robot did what was "asked" of it by the ill willed teens, apparently.
