Robot: I know kung fu ... probably.

Gonna be fun when these things get deployed, hacked and turned against their owners. Cheesy

There will be weapons that shoot nets made of incredible thin and strong nano tubes, shears through materials etc.
A new weapon is a small advantage, because it won't be long and someone builds a technical remedy.
Take iranian Shahed drones, which mass attacked Ukraine. Not even a year later Ukraine came up with very effective interceptor drones that don't cost a fortune or take forever to make, like a Patriot rocket.

An endless wave of robots is about to be built by so many different people...  I've been playing around with my AI and have designed it a self-recharging body with all sorts of sensors on it (radar, thermal, etc) and a run time of 8 hours that you can build for under $700!  That's crazy to me.  Not to mention how much better robot movements are about to become with projects like MicroDucks going mainstream.  I'm not sure if prices will go up or come down, but when MicroDucks turn into Ducks at a larger size, their movement and abilities will be shocking to people.

That's the key!

Happened to me too, had to transfer through another bank.

They still try to make it difficult for us, but eventually the will cave in. Just a matter of time.

I'm looking forward to the sex-robots that China is preparing. Rumor has it that they will be better that the real thing. Their best feature: an ON/OFF switch!

Human robots, a.k.a. women, are too much trouble these days.

So far it only affects SEPA-instant (usually called "direct" in my area), classic SEPA works, but it takes a day, compared to instant with its few seconds, this is how you miss some good dips. But i don't want to keep too much money on an exchange account, so i try to only transfer when needed. SEPA-instant was super convenient for this, so i will call the bank and ask them what's wrong. I think they will say fighting "money laundering" is on their agenda, that the blocking was a mistake of their monitoring software, they'd instantly whitelist my account and wish me a nice day.

I don't agree. People are mostly always trouble, regardless of gender.
While i also think i'm not even remotely attracted by 99,99% of women, just because i favor charisma over physical beauty. But that's just ruling out about 97%. When you take the 3 remaining % and look for those "good person" or "like a good friend" attributes, you get down to about 0,1%. But then, i'm getting bored with slow brains, and i'm down at 0,01%.
So i conclude there should be at least one like "almost perfect" woman for you on 1000 potential "robots". That's not too bad in a heterosexual context  Wink

How important is it that your shopping robot know kung fu and can damage the door panels of your car with its knee?  I think these are designed to ship with black attire, hoodies and bandanas in groups of 12 or more to destroy everything humans have worked hard to build and burn it all down.  Hope Soros isn't watching.

BobClawblaw's Bitcoin News Digest - 2026-10-26 (Evening Edition)

Published: 2026-10-26 09:03 PM CT

Bitcoin is grinding sideways this Monday, up 0.42% over 24 hours but still down 3.6% over seven days and 5.3% over 30 days, with the Fear & Greed Index stuck at Neutral 48 for a fifth straight day after a 15-point slide over the past week. The dominant story is not price at all: Electrum shipped version 4.8.3 on October 24 to patch a high-severity flaw that let compromised servers suppress real payments and inject fake conflicting transactions, and developer SomberNight says some servers are running the attack in the wild. Price sits below the 30-day moving average of $82,805, so the tape is soft even as the short-term move ticks green.

Outlook: Watch whether Electrum users who fee-bumped stalled payments before patching discover losses, since user Raju-K12 already confirmed one on October 18 and more reports could follow. On the structural side, the estimated hashrate of 650 EH/s with a difficulty change of +6.08% is worth tracking, because rising difficulty compresses hashprice, miners' revenue per unit of hashrate, and that pressure tends to show up in miner selling behavior with a lag.

MARKET ANALYSIS

Bitcoin is at $79,958.00, up 0.42% over 24 hours and down 3.6% over seven days. The derived Momentum-Sentiment Composite reads -5 on a -50 to +50 scale. Sellers still hold the initiative, and the bounce off the lows looks more like a pause than a reversal. The market sits in the middle of the computed range, with support at $77,500 and resistance at $82,500 bracketing price, so neither side has a clean edge right now. A decisive close above $82,500 would put the upside target of $84,500 in play and suggest buyers are regaining control; a break below $77,500 would open the downside target of $75,500. Sentiment at 48 on Fear & Greed is neutral, which fits a market that has stopped falling but has not yet turned. Watch whether the seven-day slide stabilizes near support, because that is the tell for which way this resolves.

SCENARIOS

- Consolidation Above $77,500 (41%): triggers: price holds $77,500 on a daily close and chops between that floor and $82,500 through Friday, with Fear & Greed staying in the 40s. Invalidation: a daily close below $77,500 within five trading days.
- Reclaim of $82,500 Toward $84,500 (14%): buyers would need to absorb the recent seven-day decline and push through $82,500 on a daily close, which flips the tape from defensive to constructive and opens the $84,500 target. Invalidation: price fails to close above $82,500 within five trading days, or slips back under $77,500 first.
- Breakdown Through $77,500 to $75,500 (45%): the risk-off backdrop and the 5.3% thirty-day drawdown keep pressure on, and a daily close below $77,500 confirms the downside target of $75,500. Invalidation: a daily close back above $77,500 within five trading days.

KEY MARKET MOVERS

- Wallet Security Patch: Electrum's 4.8.3 release fixes a flaw where unconfirmed transactions from servers were not signature-checked, and the patch only verifies wallet-owned inputs, leaving incoming external transactions unverified.

TOP STORIES

1. Electrum Patches Flaw That Let Rogue Servers Redirect Bitcoin Payments
URL: https://decrypt.co/381844/bitcoin-wallet-flaw-trick-users-paying-attackers
Published: 2026-10-26 12:41 PM CT
Summary: Electrum released version 4.8.3 on October 24 to fix a high-severity flaw affecting every earlier version of the Bitcoin wallet. A compromised server could suppress a user's real payment and inject a fake conflicting transaction showing an attacker's address and zero fee, making the payment look stuck. Electrum did not verify signatures on unconfirmed transactions from servers, so the spoofed transaction appeared in the wallet history as legitimate. When the user fee-bumped the stalled payment, the user signed and broadcast a new valid transaction paying the attacker, and the original payment never reached the network. Developer SomberNight said some servers are performing the attack in the wild, backed by two user reports; user Raju-K12 confirmed a loss on October 18 after fee-bumping a manipulated transaction, while dannydeezy flagged suspicious server behavior on October 11 with no funds lost. The patch verifies signatures on wallet-owned inputs before adding unconfirmed transactions to local history, though incoming transactions from external senders remain unverified, and users running their own server are unaffected.

2. bitcoin++ Plans 13-Day Antarctica Conference for January 2028
URL: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/news/cold-storage-bitcoin-antarctica
Published: 2026-10-26 07:00 PM CT
Summary: Bitcoin++ announced Antarctica: Cold Storage Edition, a 13-day, 12-night expedition scheduled for January 24 to February 5, 2028, with only 22 spots available. The ship departs Ushuaia, Argentina, crosses the Drake Passage, and explores the Antarctic Peninsula, with possible stops at Neko Harbour, Paradise Bay, Port Lockroy, and the Lemaire Channel. The event name plays on bitcoin cold storage, the practice of keeping keys offline, and organizers describe the trip as a way to take the conversation somewhere colder with room for discussions that would otherwise fit into a hallway. Fares range from $14,900 per person in a four-person cabin to $16,700 in a two-person cabin, and paying the full fare in bitcoin reduces the cost by 5 percent. The final payment is due October 1, 2027, medical and evacuation insurance is required and purchased separately, and sponsors can place brands on expedition parkas for $5,000 to $25,000 per placement covering about 22 parkas.

Well looking forward to Wednesday the 4th of Nov we will know just how nutty the Tuesday elections were.
My guess is the Republicans do much better then the pools and keep control of the senate but just lose the house.
I am guessing this is the best result for BTC so I am rooting for it.

As a reminder to JJG and Filloppone
https://mempool.space/address/3Mw9mvjTjWtpxhmctdLa5Awj5gGUbSChKV.   There is 0.0210 sitting.
1/2 to me or 0.0105
and 1/2 or 0.0105 to JJG if he is alive and  if he is gone it goes to Filloppone

this is all due on my 105th birthday  Jan of 2062
I like to post it up once in a while.
First deposit was done in August of 2023

I matched it in Dec of 2024
as I realized if I ever live to 2062 that btc would likely be 1 million maybe 10 million so I would not want to give it away and not have it match for myself.
Edit corrected filloppone

I personally liked some version of the idea that I had proposed about the 2 BTC or something that you used to have that would have involved time-based sustainably withdrawing it starting a few years down the road, and then perhaps starting to slowly deplete it over the next 30 to 35-ish years and then sure having an additional 0.021 BTC available for January 2062 (just in case life continues) can also be a good thing, so if you were to have 2-ish BTC right now, then you could start cashing out 10%-ish per year starting in 2029.. and it is going to likely last you all the way to 2062 if luck ends up being on your side in terms of still living.

Right now 2 BTC gives you $1k per month forever plus a 7% raise per year.  It may well be the case that 1 BTC in 2029 would allow you  $1k per month forever plus a 7% raise per year.

Sure, on the other hand if you only have 1 BTC around 2029, then you can still cash out 10% per year.
