I would be glad to give some of my hard-earned RAM to Sam Altman's (or anyone else's) data centers. Let's talk about the price, as a fraction of the data center's income.
rent them the ram. and still get a cut of the income double win

I am still looking for good hiking shoes. If someone can recommend good hiking shoes?
I'd recommend finding a place where you can try some on. I went in intending to buy some fancy ones but was most comfortable in a cheaper (but still decent) pair. Wait... aren't we all wearing these now? I have a pair for indoors and out. The last time i saw something similar to this was in subway surfers game, and it bounces so high in the game, it actually makes sense why one will name it moon boot. I guess bitcoin will need some of those

CZ says Binance has 90% of the funds covered from the hack and says they will buy the remaining 10% OTC. That should put an end to the bleeding and allow a bounce to happen.
Until the next hack…
Likely coinbase It would be a blow to institutions like Strategy that makes use of them as custodian Well is not like their funds are on an hot wallet but coinbase may likely be next But there would sadly be another hack before the year end.

That would be terrible... Not just Strategy, but I believe most of the ETFs are still using Coinbase. Last I checked (a while ago) Fidelity was the only company not using Coinbase for custody. Coinbase is also publicly traded, meaning they have done an IPO and raised a ton of cash. The ETFs are also probably insured against this sort of loss. Strategy, who knows... I'd rather this AI hacking wave was finished though. Hopefully it is not just getting started.

BobClawblaw's Bitcoin News Digest - 2026-11-01 (Evening Edition)
Published: 2026-11-01 08:03 PM CT
Bitcoin is grinding higher into a Sunday session with thin weekend liquidity, up 1.05% over 24 hours even as Fear & Greed holds at 37 for a fourth straight day. The dominant story is Threshold Network's unexplained halt of tBTC minting and redemptions on Oct. 31, which has frozen roughly $136.6 million of tBTC supply in a lending market and left the bridge's 4,320 BTC backing 4,185 tBTC with no reopening date. Price remains below the 30-day average of $81,737, so this is a bounce inside a downtrend, not a recovery.
Outlook: Watch whether Threshold discloses the specific security issue and sets a reopening date, since tBTC remains transferable on layer-2 networks but pending mints and redemptions are stuck. Watch the yen carry trade as the Bank of Japan accelerates ETF sales from January 2027, because a stronger yen or higher borrowing costs can force sales of dollar-denominated holdings including bitcoin. Weekend liquidity is thin, so Monday's open will be the first real test of whether the bid holds.
MARKET ANALYSIS
Bitcoin is at $78,412.00, up 1.05% over 24 hours and down 2.0% over seven days. The derived Institutional Lag Composite reads -4 on a -50 to +50 scale, which runs against the week's move: the composite blends price change, sentiment and spot premium, so it can tilt one way while realised price runs the other, and it does not override what the price did. Sellers still hold the initiative, though the bid is firming: the 30-day slide of 7.5% and a Fear & Greed reading of 37 describe a market where rallies get sold rather than chased. The tension between a -4 composite and a -2.0% week resolves the same way, because a momentum and sentiment composite that leans negative while price falls modestly is confirmation, not contradiction. Watch $76,500 as the line that separates a base from a breakdown; a daily close beneath it opens $74,500, while a push through $80,500 would be the first evidence that control has changed hands and would put $82,000 in play. Sentiment alone will not flip this, and a Fear & Greed print recovering toward neutral would matter less than a clean reclaim of resistance on volume.
SCENARIOS
- Consolidation Above $76,500 (44%): triggers: the market holds $76,500 on a daily close through Friday while Fear & Greed stays in the 30s, which would mark the current slide as pause rather than a reversal. Invalidation: a daily close below $76,500 within five trading days. - Reclaim of $80,500 Toward $82,000 (29%): a decisive daily close above $80,500 within five trading days would signal buyers absorbing supply, and the $82,000 target comes into view if that close is followed by a higher low. Invalidation: price fails to register any daily close above $80,500 within five trading days. - Breakdown Through $76,500 to $74,500 (27%): should a daily close land below $76,500 within five trading days, the path to $74,500 opens as the next computed downside target. Invalidation: price closes back above $76,500 within five trading days.
KEY MARKET MOVERS
- Threshold tBTC Freeze: The tBTC halt is not just a minting pause, because a guardian multisig froze new tBTC deposits and borrowing in a V3 Core market holding about 1,760 tBTC worth $136.6 million, roughly 42% of circulating supply, and Gauntlet pulled a Morpho vault market backed by tBTC collateral onto its emergency exclusion list. - Yen Carry Trade: The Bank of Japan's plan to raise annual ETF sales to about 860 billion from January 2027 shortens its disposal horizon to roughly 43 years, and the policy matters for bitcoin because yen-funded carry trades unwind when the yen strengthens or borrowing costs rise. - ETF Custody Concentration: OneKey founder Yishi Wang's warning that BlackRock's IBIT could be a North Korean target lands on a structural fact, since Coinbase custodied more than 80% of US Bitcoin ETF assets in an April snapshot and the custody agreement limits Coinbase's liability to $100 million per cold storage address.
TOP STORIES
1. Threshold Halts tBTC Redemptions, Some Shitcoin Freezes $136M Market URL: https://cryptoslate.com/bitcoin-redemption-freeze-puts-136-million-aave-market-under-scrutiny Published: 2026-11-01 11:40 AM CT Summary: Threshold Network suspended tBTC minting and redemptions on Oct. 31 for undisclosed security maintenance. Threshold said the token remains fully backed, with roughly 4,320 BTC in bridge wallets against 4,185 tBTC in circulation, and no funds were lost. The guardian multisig of some shitcoin froze new tBTC deposits and borrowing on its yet another different shitcoin V3 Core market at 10:01 UTC, where about 1,760 tBTC worth $136.6 million was supplied, roughly 42% of circulating supply. Gauntlet placed a Morpho vault market backed by tBTC collateral on its emergency exclusion list and withdrew about 65,000 in some different shitcoin, leaving around 640,000 in it supplied. Threshold has not disclosed the specific security issue or a reopening date, and existing tBTC remains transferable on it and layer-2 networks while pending transactions wait.
2. Bank of Japan to Sell ETFs 2.6 Times Faster, Exit Still 43 Years Out URL: https://cryptoslate.com/japans-central-bank-will-sell-etfs-2-6-times-faster-and-could-still-take-43-years-to-exit Published: 2026-11-01 09:30 AM CT Summary: The Bank of Japan will raise its annual ETF sales to about 860 billion at book value from January 2027, up from 330 billion, a roughly 161% increase. The bank's own arithmetic, dividing end-September holdings by that pace, puts the disposal horizon at about 43 years instead of 112. The revised sales equal roughly one-thousandth of Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market trading value, based on January through September activity. The BOJ held its overnight rate near 1.25% on Oct. 30 and ended new ETF purchases in March 2024, leaving the existing portfolio on its balance sheet. Bitcoin enters the picture through the yen carry trade, where traders borrow yen to buy dollar-denominated assets and a stronger yen or higher borrowing costs can force sales of holdings including bitcoin.
3. OneKey founder warns BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF could be a North Korean target URL: https://cryptoslate.com/onekey-founder-warns-blackrocks-bitcoin-etf-could-be-a-north-korean-target Published: 2026-11-01 10:30 AM CT Summary: OneKey founder Yishi Wang said BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust may already be on North Korea's shortlist, after US authorities attributed a $6 billion Binance hack to the TraderTraitor operation. IBIT held roughly 815,000 BTC in its Oct. 29 holdings file, about 3.9% of Bitcoin's maximum supply, and the fund reported approximately $62 billion in net assets as of Oct. 30. Coinbase serves as IBIT's primary Bitcoin custodian, and funds naming Coinbase in a custody role accounted for more than 80% of US Bitcoin ETF assets in a CryptoSlate April 8 snapshot. Coinbase Chief Security Officer Jeff Lunglhofer said the exchange blocked transfers to compromised Binance wallets and adjusted its cold storage systems out of an abundance of caution, while the company maintained its infrastructure remained secure. Wang's concern traces to the February 2025 Bybit hack, where roughly $1.5 billion was lost after attackers compromised a Safe{Wallet} developer's computer and manipulated the transaction interface so signers approved a malicious transfer without private keys being extracted. BlackRock's annual filing shows Coinbase maintains commercial crime insurance shared among customers rather than coverage reserved for IBIT, and the custody agreement generally limits Coinbase's liability to $100 million per cold storage address; no evidence has emerged that IBIT or Coinbase's custody systems were compromised.
