CZ says Binance has 90% of the funds covered from the hack and says they will buy the remaining 10% OTC. That should put an end to the bleeding and allow a bounce to happen.

We can likely look back at Phil's bitcoin accumulation history, and each year his stack has been cut in half (or more than half).

A few hours ago, I just posted something related to this topic in another thread.

The gist of my post is that guys have to get fucking smarter when it comes to investing, since if you are not doing somewhat smart allocations and perhaps earning on the CAGR overall in the ballpark of 10% per year, then there is almost no way that you can keep up with the debasement of the dollar.

Even if a guy finds some regular investment rate and in my post example, I start out at $50 per week, and then he is able to raise his investment rate by 10% each year and invest into an asset that is appreciating 10% per year, and if the debasement rate is ONLY 4% per year, then after 30 years, the guy is largely just staying at the same real rate regarding his investment, the amount that he put in and the value of his holdings. 

I was wowed by the outcome in terms of getting AI to produce the chart, and here is the summary table of the outcome. 

I think that it might be more realistic to suggest that a guy who starts out investing into bitcoin at $50 per week might purposefully consider that it is to his advantage to increase his weekly contribution each year by 10% in order to account for the debasement of the dollar (or other fiat), and he might even presume that bitcoin's investment strength will allow it to appreciate by 10% each year on average.

I got AI (Gemini) to make me a investment projection table for the guy who starts out investing $50 per week and then he increases his investment by 10% each year.  There is also an assumption that the investment goes up in value by 10% each year, and the yearly investment amounts and totals look like this:

Sure there are a lot of assumptions in the table.  Assume that the guy is increasing his investment amount 10% each year, and assume that the end investment goes up by 10% each year.

Yet if we account for a 4% ongoing annual debasement of the dollar, then our investment into bitcoin might still only net 6% per year, so then the table might look like the below table and chart that AI (Gemini) helped me to create... at various points along the way in real dollars (rather than nominal dollars).  


By the way, if you notice from the two tables, if a guy were to increase his investment amount by 10% per year and he was also able to invest in an asset that goes up 10% per year (such as bitcoin), and also if the debasement of the dollar (or whatever fiat) happens to ONLY be 4% per year, then real value of what the guy put into bitcoin ends up putting him at about the same place as the amount that he put in.

You can see that the nominal value that the guy put in was similar to the real value at the end of 30 years investing.
