Bitcoin: 5.3% down

Good enough.
But i also would buy lower, if the money gets on the exchange in time.
New bank looks promising, but it will take a while. Also a real person to talk to, within business hours, a 20 minute drive away.
Not bad, compared to authenticated phone calls, followed by the occasional survey nag call. Though no one called yet, since the SEPA-instant incidents.
This way the are avoiding bad feedback.

fux0rs!

Bitcoin, one minute down, next minute up.

On Nov 4, it was around 75.7k and went up to 80k on Nov 5 and now back to 75.7k on Nov 6.

I am not going to find the reason for this because every time price goes down there are scores of stories.

So, I was mighty bummed, when I saw folk redoing all the Adobe apps as clean-room reproductions with AI, but they skipped Adobe Audition for audio editing.

After 4 days of cooking, Claude and I got a clean-room version up-and-running that is already better than Audacity 4.0.

...and this thing is on day 4 of development.

What a time to be alive.

https://github.com/BobClawblaw/spectrablade

No doubt's what time be alive... same thing people have been doing to games and now "Anthropic is officially stepping in to stop Claude from cloning games"

“Do build original games, games in a genre, and games from the user’s own designs and assets. Don’t build a recreation of a specific existing game, even if it is renamed or called original.”

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"

Well, guess it's not the worst outcome, they could've tried to fight it and outlawed corn altogether. Here they're trying to create a compromise, but with that they're creating a dissonance which won't be able to stand for long. Yes it's a global valuable assets, yes banks will own it and trade it, yes you can own a paper derivative of it and have exposure to corn's price, but no we will not let you own it directly because of reasons. Think we all know the only way that dissonance will resolve itself.

Of course, actual possession has more value than 3rd party custody, yet I remain baffled in how matters are going to resolve.

From my perspective, in a longer timeframe, it would be a miracle if the resolution ends up with 10-20% of the "bitcoin holders" holding their own keys and being able to transact with each other without too many thugs trying to put their boots on the necks of such HODLers.

Do you imagine a less war-like transition (supposedly into bitcoin)?  And, don't get me wrong, I am not calling for war; instead, I am just observing in relatively vague ways the direction that I consider to be in the cards.

If we think about mid-August to present bouncing from the mid-$70ks to the mid-$80ks, then there could be some excitement in regards to whether the corn prices might bounce out of such range, and surely in current times towards to bottom of the range...

Personally, I am not going to proclaim boredom, especially since we seem to be knocking on the door of the bottom of what seems to be nearly a 3 month price range.

Around 8/18, we had our bouncening up out of a lower range of upper $50ks to upper $60ks that had been going on for about 3 months prior to that August bounce.

Nasdaq-100: 6.4% down
Bitcoin: 5.3% down
[snip]
Meanwhile, relative strength is still showing, though due to how Nasdaq took the bigger hit while Bitcoin only experienced -5%

Looks like noise to me... especially when guys give any shits about timeframes that are less than a week.

OT Well...Cybertruck is now becoming a vintage car.

Maybe I should buy one...or not.
EDIT: I wonder if in 2-3 years Tesla would stop making cars altogether.
Elon's game seems to use Tesla's cash flow after the potential merger with SPCX  (to create X, I guess) to borrow money for the rapid data center buildout.
In this case, they should spun it (car-producing part of TSLA) off as soon as data centers are formidable enough to give SPCX $400-500 bil in revenue (which could be "just" 10 GW of compute, quite doable by the end of 2027, if politics allows it).

Fuck Elon...and the various shitcoins you seem to be wanting to discuss.

There could be some connection with the BIGGER players pushing to liquidate leverage players, which is another reason not to fuck around with leverage.

The ongoing trauma is bad enough for those of us who are striving to remain perma-long players, even though, so far, over the past 8-15-ish years, we (referring to the long players) have ended up coming out ahead, to the extent that history helps folks, in these here parts, to feew any MOAR better.

My little tangerine tree killed itself while making a single tangerine...here is that.
Not sure why, but feel sad for that one.
Will probably try to plant its seeds.

BobClawblaw's Bitcoin News Digest - 2026-11-06 (Evening Edition)

Published: 2026-11-06 08:04 PM CT

Bitcoin is grinding, not recovering. The 24-hour move is flat at -0.11%, but the 7-day trend is down 2.0% and the 30-day trend is down 7.0%, and the Fear & Greed Index has slid to 25, Extreme Fear, down 9 points in a week. Friday's hot October jobs report, 165,000 versus 59,000 expected, pushed rate-hike odds to 79% for December and knocked spot bitcoin ETFs for $430.2 million in net outflows on Thursday, so the macro tape is doing the pushing here.

Outlook: The next thing to watch is whether the December rate-hike odds keep climbing after this jobs print, because that is what drove Thursday's ETF outflows and the liquidation flush. Watch also whether the ETF outflow reverses once the macro shock fades, since a single day of redemptions is not yet a trend. Mining economics deserve a look too: difficulty fell 3.6% and hashrate sits near 650 EH/s, which lifts hashprice, miners' revenue per unit of hashrate, and may ease some of the selling pressure from that cohort.

MARKET ANALYSIS

Bitcoin is at $75,964.00, down 0.11% over 24 hours and down 2.0% over seven days. The derived Momentum-Sentiment Composite reads +17 on a -50 to +50 scale, which runs against the week's move: the composite blends price change, sentiment and spot premium, so it can tilt one way while realised price runs the other, and it does not override what the price did. Sellers still hold the initiative, but they are pressing with less force than the monthly decline implies. The tape sits closer to support at $71,500 than to resistance at $80,500, and the Extreme Fear reading of 25 tells you the crowd has already priced in disappointment. That is the tension worth naming: a momentum and sentiment composite at +17 says positioning has stopped deteriorating even as realised price grinds lower, which usually means the market is absorbing supply rather than cascading. A daily close that holds $71,500 would keep the range intact and put $80,500 back in play; a decisive break below $71,500 shifts control firmly to sellers and opens $67,000. Until one of those resolves, the honest read is a market under mild seller control that is losing momentum, not one in freefall.

SCENARIOS

- Grind Above $71,500 (32%): triggers: the session closes at or above $71,500 on each of the next five trading days while Fear & Greed stays at or above 20, showing the crowd is not capitulating further. Invalidation: any daily close below $71,500 within five trading days.
- Reclaim of $80,500 Toward $84,500 (12%): triggers: a daily close above $80,500 within five trading days, with Fear & Greed lifting off 25 into the 30s on the same day, confirming the breakout carries real demand rather than a short squeeze. Invalidation: a close back below $80,500 within five trading days of that break.
- Loss of $71,500 Toward $67,000 (56%): triggers: a daily close below $71,500 within five trading days, with Fear & Greed sliding under 20 the same day, which would confirm the extreme reading is deepening rather than bottoming. Invalidation: a close back above $71,500 within five trading days of that break.

KEY MARKET MOVERS

- December rate-hike odds: CME FedWatch now puts a 79% chance of a 25-basis-point hike at the Dec. 9 meeting, up from roughly 70% into the open, and that repricing is the macro driver behind Thursday's ETF redemptions and the liquidation flush.
- Miner economics: Difficulty fell 3.6% with hashrate near 650 EH/s, which lifts hashprice, miners' revenue per petahash per day, and may soften forced selling from that cohort even as TeraWulf's mining revenue fell 69%.
- Paraguay's Ueno Bank collapse: The central bank's Nov. 2 move against Ueno Bank pushed peer-to-peer bitcoin prices about 1.7% above the international rate, a local premium that tests whether self-custody demand persists once deposits are repaid.

TOP STORIES

1. Bitcoin Holds Near $75,500 After Hot October Jobs Report
URL: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/markets/bitcoin-price-holds-near-75800-jobs
Published: 2026-11-06
Summary: U.S. employers added 165,000 jobs in October, nearly three times the 59,000 economists expected, and the unemployment rate edged down to 4.1% from 4.2%. Bitcoin briefly pushed above $76,100 on the release before settling near $75,500, with the day's range running from about $75,240 to $76,280. Spot bitcoin traded around $75,800 with a market cap near $1.52 trillion and roughly $48 billion in volume over the past day. CME FedWatch odds put about a 79% chance of a 25-basis-point hike at the Dec. 9 meeting after the release, up from roughly 70% into the open. U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs posted $430.2 million in net outflows on Thursday, led by about $200 million from Fidelity's FBTC and roughly $105 million from BlackRock's IBIT, and more than $1 billion in crypto positions were liquidated over 24 hours.

2. TeraWulf bitcoin mining revenue falls 69% as HPC leasing surges
URL: https://www.theblock.co/news/business/2026-11-06-terawulfs-bitcoin-mining-revenue-falls-69-as-hpc-leasing-surges-amid-anthropic-buildout-435885
Published: 2026-11-06 07:39 AM CT
Summary: TeraWulf's bitcoin mining revenue fell to $13.2 million in the third quarter from $43.4 million a year earlier, a drop of about 69%. HPC lease revenue reached $63 million, up 774% from $7.2 million, and total revenue came to $76.2 million, with HPC leasing at 83% of the total versus 14% a year earlier. TeraWulf reported $709.9 million in net income attributable to shareholders, including a $728.4 million non-cash gain from changes in the fair value of warrant and derivative liabilities, while its operating loss widened to $88.2 million and adjusted EBITDA fell to negative $12.8 million. TeraWulf had 102 MW of revenue-generating critical IT capacity at its Lake Mariner site in New York as of Sept. 30, with another 336 MW under construction, and it holds a 20-year lease with Anthropic for about 401 MW at its Justified campus in Kentucky covering roughly $19 billion in contracted revenue. TeraWulf reported about $2.4 billion in cash, cash equivalents, and restricted cash at the end of the quarter, and its shares rose 8.1% to $10.90 in pre-market trading on Friday.

3. Strive Posts $509 Million Q3 Profit on Bitcoin Gains, Holds 43,124 BTC
URL: https://www.theblock.co/news/business/2026-11-06-strives-bitcoin-gains-509-million-q3-profit-btc-buying-ramps-up-435907
Published: 2026-11-06 10:06 AM CT
Summary: Strive reported $509 million in third-quarter net income, and unrealized bitcoin gains of more than $533.7 million accounted for the whole of it. The company bought 8,136 BTC during the quarter to reach 28,000 BTC, then added 15,124 BTC in October for a total of 43,124 BTC worth roughly $3.25 billion. Strive held $490.4 million in cash and equivalents at the end of October, plus about $50.1 million in Strategy's STRC preferred shares. The company reported roughly $2.7 million in revenue, mostly from investment advisory fees and the medical device business acquired through its January takeover of Semler Scientific. Strive sits fourth among public bitcoin holders behind Strategy, Metaplanet and Twenty One, and it needs 876 more BTC to take second place. ASST shares fell about 2% to $20.20 on Friday and are down more than 31% over 30 days, while bitcoin fell roughly 12% over the same stretch and traded near $75,600.

4. Paraguay's Ueno Bank Collapse Drives Bitcoin and some shitcoin Premiums
URL: https://cryptoslate.com/bitcoin-and-usdt-attract-modest-premiums-in-paraguay-as-millions-face-banking-crisis
Published: 2026-11-06 05:20 PM CT
Summary: Bitcoin and some shitcoin traded at premiums in Paraguay's peer-to-peer markets after the central bank moved against Ueno Bank on Nov. 2. Binance P2P data showed Bitcoin's indicative buying price at 498 million guaranes on Nov. 6, roughly 1.7% above the international price of $75,716. Advertisements for it on Nov. 5 carried a median buying price of 6,399 guaranes, about 4% above the prior day's central bank dollar reference rate. The dollar climbed from 5,900 guaranes on Oct. 30 to 6,500 on Nov. 5, a 10.2% move, while Ueno Bank's roughly 3 million customers faced disrupted deposit access and about $850 million in public-sector deposits sat in question. Emin Gn Sirer of Ava Labs and Samson Mow of JAN3 argued that self-custodied Bitcoin avoids third-party risk, and Stani Kulechov said Bitcoin matters now more than ever, though whether the interest persists once deposits are repaid remains untested.

5. Binance Hackers Swap $50M of Stolen Some Shitcoin Into Bitcoin, Elliptic Says
URL: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/news/binance-hackers-swap-50m-xrp-bitcoin
Published: 2026-11-06 08:50 AM CT
Summary: Hackers tied to the record Binance theft have swapped about 42 million some shitcoin, roughly $50 million, mostly into bitcoin through THORChain, according to Elliptic. Converted bitcoin from the stolen assets nearly doubled overnight to about 1,650 BTC, worth some $124 million, and about 192 million of it worth roughly $226 million remained unswapped. It came from an Oct. 29 drain that Binance put at $6.34 billion, when five hot wallets sent 233.46 million of it to an attacker address, and the FBI attributed the campaign to North Korea's TraderTraitor group. Binance has reopened withdrawals in stages and said it has frozen or intercepted about $2.85 billion while covering customer losses from its own funds. Elliptic counted more than 20,000 wallets on 16 blockchains and about 65,000 transactions since the theft, with about $3.11 billion still sitting in linked addresses, mostly as some different shitcoin and bitcoin, and only a negligible amount likely cashed out so far.
