I wonder if lending interest will go negative? Roll Eyes

What a strange concept

strange yes , but  isn't it morally right?

Oh I forgot we are talking about banks , morallity is the exact opposite

A negative rate doesn't necessarily mean you have to pay the bank to hold your money (at least not directly), just look at Denmark.

No, they've said that they are looking into maybe accepting it sometime in the future.

however you look at it , if you pay them to hodl your money
you get a negative interest rate

They were talking about allowing trades on eBay with BTC not paying with BTC.

I think that interview was pretty stunning - this is the CEO of a major global US corporate, whose business is all about buying and selling goods around the world.

Saying what he did about Bitcoin (and even that he OWNED some) was pretty bullish news.

If nothing else it means the established major players are looking to join in, not just ignore...

Sucker already removed his 1k+ BTC sell wall at $670.

He's using the wall to build asks in front of it, then he buys them. Has been doing this for a while now.

That's a load of sensationalistic journalism, there has been experiments with negative rates various places, though not on such a scale of course.

i don´t think this is sensationalistic journalism. it is the 5th year of the 2008 crisis and they have no other tool than this very last one. if it fails (and i think it will) what will they do next ?
