Are there still people here who think the dumper(s) is doing anything else than just trying to kill the market? If so, please show me something that will convince me this is not the case.
If a gvt or bank wants to kill BTC it is easier to do so by pumping to death an alt and make it No1. Or no? I think a government or bank can do it way easier than this. I don't think that's what happening here. I have no clue who else would do this and why. It's just that i can't find another plausible explanation for this market behaviour. Maybe our mod who kept crying how there is no manipulation can explain this to us. I keep my mind open to any possible scenario but I think that the manipulator is not trying to exit or destroy it. I think they were amateurs and by breaking the 400 level they seriously broke investors confidence and now we are heading south without real breaks... Last 2-3 days I see NO manipulation. Just my PoV

Now, inflation is bringing the price down, since there isn't a bot creating constant buys. Soon, holders will panic - if there isn't a reversal. Right now big money is doing everything it can to prop the price up to protect their asset(BTC) but the inflation is too damn high.

A CC could be denominated in anything, as long as there's a CC company to extend you the credit, deal with charge-backs and all of that mundane stuff. So much for being ur own bank, not having to trust humans, & keeping your pvt. key to yourself You don't have to. Or you can if you want the benefits of doing so. The point is to have the *choice*.

If a bot can pump up the price, why can't a bot dump down the price?

If anyone, I mean any Joe Public buyer, bought bitcoin in the year 2014 and needed to sell to get fiat back, he sold at some kind of loss. Whether that loss is big or small. Unless you bought bitcoin on the exact dates of 4/9, 9/29, or today, right now your bitcoin is worth less than when you bought it. FOR THE WHOLE FKN YEAR. Talk about depressing... this market is like the gold market has been for the last 2 years straight. So I think people are actually selling for a loss because they have no choice, or really need the money. I mean, it's been almost a whole year of downturn.

Slowly, very slowly price will fall down to 100-150$ if trend will be this. I hope that there will be some buyer or some news that can move up price of bitcoin..

Can anyone remember what the price was at the time that the "Willy" bot started buying?

Hmm. Looks like moving to imgur was not the correct choice. Trying to actually get an image to show up on this rinky-dink forum was probably not the correct choice.

How the fuck does this guy expect to separate the blockchain from the currency? Where's the incentive? I guess he will integrate the dollar instead of BTC, because how would that be stupid Heh, Dollar coin. Where every time you mine a block, the reward goes to JP Morgan and friends.

We certainly have tanked in past few hours, hard to say if it'll continue at this rate. People holding alt coins should be sweating when BTC climbs down to the launchpad

Hmm, plausible, I don't know? One guess I could think of is maybe its BitPay/Coinbase. If I knew I was in a bear market, or was tipped off by my exchange buddies that the bear whale is "real", I might sell off portions of my bitcoin stash. That way I have the cash on hand to pay Overstock or whomever uses my services. With the added benefit of also contributing to the decline in price, so when Joe Blow buys something at Overstock I actually get more bitcoin back than I used to pay Overstock with when I cashed out earlier (when the price was up $5). Worst case is the market goes up and I just market sell Joe Blow's bitcoin.

If a bot can pump up the price, why can't a bot dump down the price? Because Willy bot bought real Bitcoin with fake USD. Unless one of the exchanges is selling fake BTC for real fiat, then they are not the same

This dump could be related to the +1.1% move in the DXY.
Gold is getting dumped as well.
