@JimboToronto:

2014:  Steady downtrend, down $750.
Keep trolling.

Trolling? LOL Take a look in the mirror.

Blatchcorn couldn't see a rally. I showed the last 10 days.

You called it a random time frame and showed an arbitrary period of downtrend.

I showed a larger arbitrary period of uptrend. You called it trolling?

Talk about cherry picking. LOL

You showed the last 10 days, I showed the last 10 months.  Seems reasonable, no?

I showed recent and long-term trends and you showed only that medium-term trend that suited your argument.

No need to call troll.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

This place needs less trolls.

I agree.

Unfortunately, trolls are a fact of life so you may as well get a laugh out of them.

Finished work. Quick look at thread. Bearishness seemingly everywhere. Lambchop (wrong for this entire 40% rise) reappeared posting negative trash.

Quick look at wisdom expecting sub 360. Price actually 403 on stamp. Ha. Please keep shorting bitcoin.

Edit: more of the bs quantum computing fud please! Lol

I saw this correction coming, but I don't know why I cant see it as a reversal, I have a bad feeling about all of this, I keep trying to convince my self to buy back but everything I think of tells me nope it is still going to go down.... what is more interesting, is usually I get scared about missing the train, but not this time, I just don't care anymore.

Although, I have to admit, I missed a real solid trade here, selling at $400 rather $318 would is way profitable.

hmmmm.... soooo basically you want cheap coin because you were selling at 318 instead of 400 ? teheheheheheheheheeheheheheheeee

and I bought at 300, didn't want to risk holding Bitcoin for more than a couple of days.

Yeah, but here's the thing.  At some point if you want to go long, you have to decide at what price point.  As this thing grinds up, there are of course going to be down days or even down weeks.

In my mind if we are still above 400 in 2-3 months from now, then the bottom is truly in the rearview.

Anyone worth their salt knows this is the end of cryptocurrency as we knew it.

Back to the drawing board friends....

I will not sell my bitcoin just in case quantum computing never comes to fruition however

http://www.bitcoinnotbombs.com/bitcoin-vs-the-nsas-quantum-computer/

Bitcoin uses several cryptographic algorithms―The Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) for signing transactions and the hash functions SHA-256 and RIPEMD160. If the NSA succeeds in developing a cryptologically useful quantum computer, ECDSA would fall while SHA-256 and RIPEMD160 would remain secure.

The good news is that ECDSA should be relatively easy to swap out if/when it becomes compromised.

The next 72 hours will be critical to sustaining swing monetum to $450-$500.

The BTC-e trollbox could explode.
