Here it is for those who don't get it. The volume of transactions. Observe.
If you don't get it then talk to Lambchop. He understands why it's SO significant to troll hard NOW.
Maybe in 1-2 weeks he won't have to.

HODL!!!1

What I understand is that China still plays a way too important role, as the volume chart shows again. Also, the price is about 3 times lower than it was during the December 2013 people, so obviously volume must go up. Traders will sell on the way up and buy more bitcoin during the way down and in that sense I don't considering this chart to really prove a point. The only thing what it is saying is that volume is up tremendously (for the first time in months), but this could mean two things. The market seems to be deciding, and we aren't out of the bear market as it stands now. Also, the cutthroat market mentality that summarizes Bitcoin trading will make sure that any rise in price will likely get killed off again by shorters, bringing us back to square one.

No, the long grind downwards will likely continue. I consider the odds of that 80/20, as a the market mentality does not switch overnight. Only if we have seemingly bottomed out for 3 to 5 months will I believe that the bear market has ended.

Yeah, he clearly doesnt understand the graph he just posted in any way.

Have a nice one people. Good night from Greece.

Be sure to pay those bills there! We are still waiting for our northern European tax money to return.

Another way to look at this is how small "other" actually is. I think the fact that other markets have shrunk is not a good sign for bitcoin.

There is no way that almost all bitcoins being traded are on 5 exchanges and that is supposed to be a good thing.

Here it is for those who don't get it. The volume of transactions.

Volume is higher when the price is changing faster, for obvious reasons.  At Bitstamp the record daily volume (137 kBTC) was on 2013-12-18, when price opened at 675$ and closed at 520$ (-155$).   Recent volume records were at the bottom of a sharp dip and bounce (2014-10-05 and -06, ~62 kBTC) and at the top of a sharp rally and crash (2014-11-12 and -13, ~50 kBTC).

Now lots of people are selling, lots of people are buying.  Who is the smart guy, and who is the sucker?  One cannot tell that in a single trade, one cannot tell that without knowing what the price will do...

Faster! Bigger pictures!

I think it's always 20 posts/page, even if all the posts are one-liners.  But I'm always happy to add more gifs.
This one goes out to all you bulls bleeding out on the altar of Bitcoin.

Hmm. Thanks anyway Smiley

Bro, that's cold.  I just gave you the keys to the kingdom with "20 posts/page" bit.  That's inside info for most folks here--they don't math.  With just simple addition and a bit of F5, you can be the very first post on 10,000th page!

I truly hope you'll lose all your money. That would make my day.

It's the little things that bring us so much joy and make life worth living Smiley

True. For some it's the smile of a small child. For others, It's seeing a starving man eat for the first time in days and there's some where it's a soldier returning to his family after a long, arduous tour of duty. For shroomsy, it's seeing a man reduced to poverty.

Guize, just don't respond to anything Shroomskit is posting, just post this anytime he says something.

I will leave this place soon. Bitcoin is dead, it's only down from here and i sold everything i got quite a while ago so there is nothing for me here anymore.
I tried to help the few delusional bulls who just won't give up but they don't appreciate my warnings very much. Ah well, your money. I don't care really.
I'll come back every 50 dollar drop for some entertainment. So long and thanks for buying my coins at 400. Poor schmucks.

Good luck with your pump and dump coin.

I feel sorry for all the idiots who sold at these ridiculous prices and i will laugh at all the bears who will get caught in trap after trap the coming weeks.

The only winners are the holders (like me) and the people who pick up the last cheap coins while they can.

We're going up and it's confirmed!
