I really liked the design of the new website especially the rocket taking off part that was really cool and awesome

How BancorX Works: From Ethereum to EOS and Back Again

Here's an excerpt from the article:

"Behind the scenes, BancorX is based on the ability to move BNT — the Bancor Network Token — between blockchains. BNT is designed to function concurrently on both EOS and Ethereum in order to enable cross-chain conversions.

A key component of this cross-chain functionality is the unique ability of BNT, the world’s first Smart Token, to automatically issue and destroy itself simultaneously on multiple blockchains. Any BNT that moves between chains is removed from circulation on the originating chain and sent to an address on the destination chain. This ensures that throughout the cross-chain conversion process, the circulating supply of BNT remains unchanged."

and dude, if you think bnt will ever go skyrocket against btc or eth, you are so wrong and never understood the bnt algorithm. if you have any questions about how bnt price stabilize, and its pump&dump protected algorithm, you can check its whitepaper or join the Official Telegram Group.

As you can see in the whitepaper, the price on Bancor is an internal mechanism defined by the algorithm. It stays close to external prices (as seen on sites like Coinmarketcap) through opportunity arbitrage. The reason that the increase in the number of tokens at stake by the project team does not drive prices is because they directly "stalk" more tokens into the relay. Thanks for sharing erwan, that is a great article. I would actually recommend this article on how relay tokens work for a more useful understanding of the liquidity depth and such. Since my comment from yesterday that you parsed this from was answer a rather specific question asked by a community member regarding the specific interaction when a project team adds more tokens into the token realy and how that affects token price.
