Any opinion of trading cryptocurrencies vs penny stock?

If i will choose, I will pick trading cryptocurrencies over penny stock trading. Why? Because i'm more used into crypto trading and it is very easy to do that kind of trading and it doesn't require any age limit so even if you are under 18, you can still open an account and deposit money and last is to do trading. Based on my own experience, Cryptocurrencies is more volatile than penny stock and anytime you can take advantage of that to earn a lot of money.

Sure, crypto currency trading does not require any age limit or verification unlike trading penny stocks. Anyone can trade, But when it comes to making money, you can make money from both penny stocks and cryptos as long as when you know to make the right trades at the right time. Both has "pump and dump" schemes, so play it cautiously and stick with the trend.

Regardless of how often a penny stock gets fluctuations, how much fluctuations it will get really matters for traders that is the reason, penny stock trading is still most preferred among traders. Yes, the percentage of returns some times go as mammoth as 5000% also with penny stocks.

Like arbitrage trading, penny stocks opportunities also very rare, but if you identify it, you can make more returns than crypto trading. In more simple words, if you identify a potential penny stock, you can imagine that you will get chances to buy bitcoins in 2010 prices.

I agree with DoubleHunter here. Cryptocurrency trading has a lower barrier of entry and has no rules of a minimum amount to trade. Some stock brokers have rules that limit you on how to trade if the money in your account does not meet their allowed minimum. So if you are not a millionaire and what to learn how to trade then cryprocurrency trading will give you a lot of opportunties to practice.

I am not preferring trading for a do or die. If I do prefer, I would have chosen gambling instead of trading. Compared to gambling trading is relatively less risk involved and that is the reason I am into trading. If penny stock trading is again similar to gambling, then I will never touch them.

After seeing this topic, I checked some learning materials on penny stock trading. But I decided to continue only crypto trading. Basically I am not preferring trading stocks, but penny stocks are unlike other stocks seems high risk involved.

Trading penny stock may cost 7$/ trade. In crypto it is just 0.25% max.

Trading cryptocurrency is easy than penny stocks. Though both are undervalued assets, but cryptocurrency ,you can see the way forward than penny stocks. The profit you can gain from crypto is more than penny stocks.

Penny stocks are those that trade at a very low price, have very low market capitalization, are mostly illiquid. So such type of stocks does not have any good assets or product value , penny stocks  can be desisted any time by regulatory authority , So trade or invest in such stocks are pure gambling.while in case of trading of crypto is less risky because crypto have some meaningful product behind it.So if it goes at lower value still it would give some return.

I see this comment on the main page that many people say that if Penny stock is like FOREX, if it's true like that then I will ignore Penny Stock because it's useless to continue.

This can not be compared to be honest, i think that trading stocks are not the same as low cap cryptos, because there are many differneces and you do not need to be an expert for that

The price always moves quickly it won't be a surprise if it starts to go back to $7,000 within a week. If i'm in your situation I won't hesitate .The market is so thin with these things, that you can barely get your order filled, much less get the price you want.  And with these bottom-of-the-barrel altcoins, it's much the same thing.  Unless there's a rally going on, good luck.  I'd stay far, far away from both of these things if I were you.

In stock market has lower fluctuacion so the risk and the return will be lower too. In stocks market has higher market  cap and the market fully regulated. To make profit 10 times in amonth is not possible in stocks market  but only possible in crypto,  to make better profit is better we have knowledge in both market,  because when crypto down trend we can move the money in to stock market.

To get maximum profit from trading and to have diversify risk, we should be have skill in both trading. In bearish crypto market is very hard to make profit because mostly all crypto going down hard. We should be have better prediction when best times to entry and exit from crypto all coin was bullish and bearish in the same years. When crypto on bearish, we should bring the money in to stocks trading.

Both has the same risk, because penny stocks has high volatility as well. I did both trading and crypto has more potential to offer very high return because in crypto market some coin possible to going up to 50-100 times in 1 years but in stocks market i did not found any stocks like that.  We should be try both to know different price action and the potential of profit. In crypto market there are pump dump coin and that thing also exist in stocks market.

I do not think they are that different but they are not close neither. Penny stocks are literally scams if done right, there has been companies with no offices that started out with the funds coming from their penny stocks sold, they make hundreds of millions of stocks and make their company worth millions without actually starting the business but just a promise. It means ICO's are quite similar in that sense, but crypto trading ? I am not too sure.

If the topic was ICO vs penny stock I might have said yes but trading crypto is more like forex than penny stocks at this point. The upper side is not as big as penny or ICO but the risks are lower compared to both. I would say penny stocks have only one more advantage which is having the SEC and IRS with you and if the company scams you they are always caught by the law, crypto people can run away from law longer if needed.

I will choose to trade in top 10 crypto than penny stocks because in penny stocks when the price dumped can be no others times to raise again, but for crypto because still young market very big chance the price will going up after dumped.
