6,878.58 BTC = $13,425,199.73

29,531.60 ETC = $3,485,319.43

4,231,440.20 GAME = $9,732,312.46

Congratz for the team. This much money will spend on marketing and could really bring mobilego to mainstream.

there is one way to squeeze more coins out of the ICO. Buy GAME and sit on it until the end of the ICO. I predict a run up of GAME as people flood in at the last moment and use GAME for the 10% discount. So you buy GAME now, wait for it to pop and then transfer your GAME to the ICO closer to the end date.

Only do this if you can withstand a drawdown in the price of GAME, but no risk no reward right.

@Jack ^^^.  Told you so.  As I said to you privately and as I now say publically, I believe MobileGo should implement price averaging on GAME in the last 72 hours of this ICO.  If you run the numbers on the worst case scenario I postulated to you privately, this could be a real problem.

From Firefly... Mal: Well, look at this. 'Pears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us?
Zoë: Big damn heroes, sir.
Mal: Ain't we just.

My concern is of course manipulation. However, there could be natural price increases at the end of the crowdsale that some investors predicted through TA or development speculation. These types of investments aren't our concern. I told investors day one that investing in the first discount period is great, but might not constitute the most MGO tokens if GAME/any other token sees a large increase. But I've run it by our team and we're definitely considering such concerns.

i will agree, when we invested ...is our choice..if price was down we would say how smart we are Smiley

i think a cap at 35 will not be a bad idea ...but if the team has many news after ico ..it is ok ...even with no cap we will not see any loss

THERE WILL BE ......

It isn't matter anymore reaching at 30 million dollars for MGO. I wonder what will be the final amount invested in this project this project has already setup many records and there will be many if the current speed keeps continue. All the figures shows that interest will keep growing more in final couple of days.

I am coming to the game late here, and it really doesn't matter what I think.  What really counts is the ICO Terms, which outlines "timestamping for value".

However, I never miss an opportunity to say what I think, whether it matters or not.  Everything below is IMHO....

"Timestamping for value" and using that as a factor in calculating who gets how many tokens is not a good idea in any ICO.  The BTC that are donated to this ICO have exactly the same value whether they are donated early or whether they are donated late in the crowdfunding campaign.  That value is determined on the day in the future when BTC are released from escrow and the devs can first lay hands on them.  Every single BTC on that escrow release day has the same value.  On escrow release day, there are not some BTC that will be "more valuable" and others that will be "less valuable".  So why should some of the donators receive more MGO than others for the donation of any particular escrow release BTC?

The problem here is that everybody wants to see their "invested value" protected.  This is not logical thinking.  The very act of investing a BTC coin in this ICO is cutting it off from the very exchange system that provides a swing in its value.  By investing in an ICO, you are saying "I don't care what this BTC will be worth tomorrow, up or down, if I keep it.  I want to take a shot on the future and take it off the market and invest in this ICO.  My BTC I am surrendering will have no value whatsoever to me again until launch many weeks from now".

And on that launch date, all investors who took an equal risk by taking their BTC off the market for weeks should receive an equal proportion of compensating tokens at launch.

ICO devs are wrong when they worry about "protecting a donator's invested value" as a criteria in structuring an ICO.  Protecting investors should not be a major concern - taking actions to produce a token of value should be the primary concern.  Even the "15%/10%/5%" weekly reward system should be thought of as trying to generate early buzz for advertising, not as "investor protection" to compensate donators for locking their BTC up for weeks.

But as I said up front, what really counts is the ICO Terms, which outlines "timestamping for value".

Like everybody else, I'm now wishing I had held my BTC for a few more days before plunging it into this ICO.  But whatever.  Let's do this.

I pulled out a few coins to invest that doubled shortly after but it's fine this ICO beat ETH already and the team is very active and already helped develope/market a successful project in GC.

I'm very hopeful for this project both short and long term

"Timestamping for value" and using that as a factor in calculating who gets how many tokens is not a good idea in any ICO.
If bitcoin price dropped then you wouldn't be saying that would you?

Sure I would still say that.

Once you donate your single BTC to an ICO, you should no longer care whether or not all other BTC in the world goes up OR DOWN.   Because they WILL do one or the other, if not both.   Instead, you have decided not to allow your single BTC to participate in that market for the next few weeks.

The act of donating a BTC should imply a decision not to cry if the value of all other BTCs in the world then go up while your donated BTC is locked in an ICO for weeks.  Your focus should be on ICO token launch.

The act of donating a BTC should imply a decision not to gloat if the value of all other BTCs in the world then go down while your donated BTC is locked in an ICO for weeks.  Your focus should be on ICO token launch.

If you still feel a need to cry OR GLOAT, then you are not fully emotionally committed to your act of donation to the ICO.   You are exhibiting doubt.  You are still connected to the ongoing market outside of the ICO.  You are looking for personal reassurance and personal validation from a situation that does not care about you.  You should not do that.  It leads to a lot of emotional stress in a situation where you no longer have any control.  You have given your control to the devs.  Trust them.  Why else did you enter the ICO?

It is hard enough to get your emotions under control when making a cold, logical decision on whether or not to invest in an ICO and its devs.   In the MGO ICO, the devs have made achieving that emotional control harder by introducing an element of "timestamp for value".   That means you are still thinking about the value of your BTC both before and after your donation.  This is a huge distraction that serves no useful purpose.  It is just a psychology trick, to make you feel "safer" about entering the ICO.

I say again, all donated BTC have the same equal value - their value on the day escrow is over and the devs can access them.

I say again, giving some donators more MGO tokens than others just because they donated their BTC on a "lucky day of peak BTC value" is not fair.

I say again, whatever....let's do this.

Instead of concentrating on BTC donation price and the outside BTC market, you should instead be concentrating on the MGO launch price.  MGO is what you own now, not BTC.

Do I practice what I am preaching here?  Boy, it's mighty hard to do.....

From Firefly... Mal: Well, look at this. 'Pears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us?

People still didn't come out of the old trends when heavily funded campaigns were not showing immediate response in term of getting profit on their donations or investments. MobileGO is raising all the money in the middle of times when crypto markets are not only hot but also are most demanded and huge money is flowing minute by minute into this. MGO will set another record by showing huge performance in trading market as well after becoming record making funded project.

This is certainly good news, but usually such large projects have increased interest from scammers.
