first time to heard that Mercedes accept bitcoin and finally more big companies accept bitcoin but as the bitcoiners i wish that would have good influence especially for the price because it would be useless if there are more companies concern more for bitcoin but the price dropped

well, to me it's just a matter of time. bitcoin is growing fast now and debit card services like xapo already made possible to buy anything you want with bitcoin. With time, more and more companies will accept bitcoin directly.

Bitcoin for anything. They are car manufacturers not car dealerships. They have sub-contracted most of their functions to other sub-contractors.

Apple does not accept Bitcoin, but I know Microsoft {X-box} does.  What is the purpose of your thread?

This news is not new to me because I have even read about it a while ago even on this forum that is about the Dell part but the others is what is new to me. If true then its a good thing at least we are now having good news coming from the corporate world and this could even to a large extent give the credibility for other businesses to start accepting then it will flow down to the store next house in a gradual way.

I have not heard that Mercedes Benz accept bitcoins. Large companies always value their reputation and will not sell their products for unrecognized currency. There is a very huge fine. Maybe it's something the firm has done a publicity stunt?

yes big players like microsoft apple will initiate the change.as they ignite the flame then other small scale company will start following them too and finally we have ha strong foundation base of bitcoin network and finally we will have laws for it and we could use it without and fear of getting banned by government.

Initiation of this change will have overall some positive effects in the market, the ease of using Bitcoin will be pretty good. It might reduce the possibility of strict negative action by Government, but I think fear of will be still there even if Bitcoin being accepted by industrialist to some extent.

I think those companies accept Bitcoin for their own benefit, not for supporting Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin is more popular now a days and a lot of people deal with it, so by accepting Bitcoin they can get new sales, they were able to accept it since long time but they did not.
In other case, we know that Fiverr had accepted Bitcoin then stepped back, because their experiment has failed due to the price fluctuate.

I didn't hear if the Mercedes-Benz accepting bitcoin and tesla is never making an announcement about they were officially accepting bitcoin for their payment. Especially for apple too.

it is always good to hear about new businesses accepting bitcoin but Mercedes Benz accepting bitcoin is a small one in my opinion because it is not a day to day thing and most people don't want to spend that much bitcoin anyways.

and Dell has been accepting bitcoin for a very long time. it is not a new thing.

Every company that accept bitcoin payment is a good move for development, not everyone will spend their coins to buy a luxury car which cost Million of dollars using bitcoin, because they could charge more than the current market price in case of precause from fluctuate. Moreover, if the price increase after that, I may say it's a bad decisions to spend bitcoin (% charge)  more than the current price instead of convert bitcoin into fiat and buy the car. At least the rest of your coins will grow up again.

Apple is impossible, Apple store has strict rules against virtual currency apps, so they are anti bitcoin, impossible to accept bitcoin. For Benz, never heard, which source? Dell and Microsoft were old news.

There is nothing impossible nowadays, actually  many people said before that bitcoin is impossible to be adopt by the company in different country. But look what happen now, there are lot of companies had already adopted the features concept of bitcoin. And one of this was Dell company, I do believe that in the long run I'm not wondered one day Apple, Microsoft, Mercedez will finalize accept bitcoin.

You seem to have got it wrong

I read about Dell and Tesla allegedly accepting bitcoins as back as a few years ago, but it turned out that it was some obscure company which had been reselling their goods for bitcoins. It's small wonder that these manufacturers continued to accept only fiat, and the company which accepted bitcoins was actually converting them to fiat and thus had been earning on currency exchange operations. You could just as well convert your Bitcoin stash to fiat yourself and buy what you need directly

Oh man, really I haven't heard any newspaper talk about this or anyone has mentioned it before so if this is true, then I'm delighted since I will have more evidence to prove with my parents that bitcoin is totally a technical revolution and it's not a scam. I hope these companies will promote bitcoin, which will surely increase the value of it.
