Well it is the weekend (not that people stop working on the weekend, but less stuff seems to get done), but I would like to at least see an update on their website this week.  Also I don't think I ever said that it couldn't possibly be a scam, but I did keep an open mind and have BTC3 lost or in-limbo (depending on your point of view) at the moment.  Also it would be nice to have a formal announcement on here from the user "miningunited", which we know actually ran the site (maybe it's been posted and I missed it).  I guess I actually feel a bit hurt more than scammed, since I had previous positive conversations over GMail with MU and was in the process of tracking down the owners of BTCCheap when this all went down.

It's far from the end of the world, but I could have been paid $300 USD for the work I did but decided to go ahead and take the offer of BTC3 and invest it back into the Bitcoin community, so even that in itself was a risky move.  This is why you should always listen to Squidbillies!

I was leaning this way too, but didn't want to be the first to say it. Also how he tried to dissuade people from reporting the scam to the FBI. I think he really is afraid of the law. Can't a mod or admin just tell us his IP address? Remember, there is a 50BTC bounty on his ass/head.

There is no doubt I was a big supporter of Mining United. I've sent many emails back and forth with "owner" and have supported his website. I jumped to defend it due to the fact that it was something brand new that hadn't been done before, and people were calling it a scam right away, with NO proof that it was. The idea behind it was plausible, and could work. On my very first post, moderator tysat edited my first post and put a scam warning on it. I took offense to it because there was no proof that it was a scam, and I was getting a return on my investments.

Now, to answer some questions, and get things straightened out.

Also correct. on 5-8-13 I purchased 2 mining packages. a 0.25, and a 0.05 package. I never did get paid out on them. The last official payment on the mining packages, was the 0.2811 payment you quoted.

That was a totally seperate payment, not for a mining package. That 0.25 was from Mining United in response to a forum post. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=189872.20 Post #26. This was when he was questioned about gambling on Satoshidice.

For a while I was doing the bitcoin faucets, and I did receive another bonus on 5-11-13 from Mining United for another forum post, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=201778.msg2106728#msg2106728 Post # 4. Payment was 0.0125, and also paid for a Mining United Premium Membership, 0.3 bitcoins on 5-11-13. Made a sale on Bitcointalk forum, 0.4 bitcoins on 5-18-13, and finally spent 0.32403 on Bitmit on 5-18-13.

Actually, I never got paid for 4 packages. A 0.25 on 5-8-13, a 0.05 on 5-8-13, a 0.05 on 5-11-13, and a 0.05 on 5-12-13. Why I got a full 1 BTC, I don't know.

The individual registered MiningUnited with domainsbyproxy.com, which is private to the public but not to DomainsByProxy. There are so many digital trails left by this fool, you could easily track him/her down if it's worth your time. I lost a little under 4 BTC (1.5 of which was returned through MU) and completely invested knowing I was gambling that BTC; it was my best option at mining free BTC and I took the risk... and lost. I filed through ic3.gov and have done my own research to track the individual. If the FBI were to actually get on this case, which could happen if enough people file at ic3.gov, they could catch them in a day of work, easily.

Those payments are irrelevant to what MiningUnited would owe you.

As you can see, that next service you bought was paid for at 2013-05-08 03:55:47 for 0.25 BTC, then 2013-05-08 03:57:02 for 0.05 BTC, the only other possible payments you could have made to MiningUnited were the 2 for 0.05 BTC to address 1Q8wC2Z2CkqMB6h9LwXVnKpnsWv9G3DiX8. By using your payment address and checking your position in MiningUnited's queue, we can see that your orders number were 2730 for 0.25, 2734 for 0.5. That's the 2 known unpaid orders. The next orders are 3114 and 3135. If we check the address of order 3134, which is 1NZkyjA8qhsxAPRegZCNCJYrUkJHYenHfe, then there should be a 0.05 payment to 1Q8wC2Z2CkqMB6h9LwXVnKpnsWv9G3DiX8 just before your last one at 2013-05-12 13:51:15. There was no such payment.

Even if there was such a payment, that would mean that you had 0.4 BTC in orders not yet paid out. So, why would you get 1 BTC?
