global disaster mean this is happened to almost all of the countries in the world and i think yes possibly it will decrease the value of cryptocurrency because when global disaster happened most of people only concern how to save their own life without care for their wealth and if it is so then bitcoin will being worthless and lack of interest also the damage effect is there's no internet connections which being the main thing to use bitcoin

Global disaster would eventually lead to a decrease in the value of bitcoins. This is because the value is entirely dependent upon the rate of investment and buying and selling of shares in the international market in terms of cryptocurrency.

And if there would be some kind of war between the countries or the whole world afflicted with the Btcs then obviously the market would crash leading to a decrease in the value of this digital asset.

It can't affect the value of bitcoin. Even if there will be any natural phenomena to occur (Hoping it won't happen) because bitcoin's price still relies on how the people frequently use it. If there will be a big war to happen, it will still rely on the usage like merchants who accept bitcoin, miners or people who cashes-out to pay bills or for personal needs and etc. There are a lot of factors that affect the price of bitcoin in the market but I just don't think that the disasters you stated will have any affect on it.

The bitcoin world is running by people. No people, no bitcoin. Therefore, if the disaster hit the earth, people would be gone, thus so would the bitcoin. Added to that statement, what do you mean by big wars? Nuclear wars? If so, people would cease to exist. So no bitcoin.

So, basically, whatever happens to the earth will decide whether the users of bitcoin will still run it or not.

Hi ! First message here.

If a global disaster would happen on earth ( And I somehow don't wish it ) Would the value increase or decrease ?

I'm not talking about solar flares or EMP. But more like big wars or great natural disaster.

What are your opinions on the subject ?  Cheesy

In my opinion, if it involves two major countries such Germany USA or France, there might be a negative impact I suppose. There will be another "great depression" so to speak, specially if it's nationwide. I guess the main concern of the people would be survival and not a care about the what value of bitcoin is at that moment. Less demand equals less value.

Those kind of scenarios will definitely decrease the bitcoin value because the value of bitcoin is depending on the demand of the people in the market so as the wars or worst case scenarios will happen then it will result for having a huge decrease on the demand that will drag down the value of bitcoin because the demand is also going down.

if that happens I personally would not think of bitcoin anymore.
and will try to find my family and relatives who survived the disaster.
I think the bitcoin price will be worthless if it happens right.
You never know what is going to happen in the future. The thing is if something like this happens in the future, then I am afraid that there will be nothing left in this world. That global disaster will effect each and every one of us. The market price of bitcoin will for sure fall down in a significant manner. In fact, it will not be only bitcoin but almost everything will be effected at that time.

I think the opposite of most people here - a global disaster would increase Bitcoin value. Firstly, there would be countries where the local currency becomes worthless and the population turn to Bitcoin (like Venezuala now). Secondly, lots of people would go on the move - refugees - and the easiest way to move money from one country to another is Bitcoin (you certainly don't want to be carrying gold).
Price will get more boost as the time will pass because still many people are out there in underdeveloped countries who are unaware of this coin so as in future years there will be more rise people will rush more to this coin so I am investing into this coin for sake of getting high profit through it and it will deliver me maximum profit and a secure lavish future and an epic living standard also.

obviously if global disaster will happen, it may probably cause a decrease of funds or coin stock for this reason that bitcoin accounts may be lost during the disaster and cannot be reconcile. For this reason the value of bitcoin may increase due to lack of coins and it is very much in demand.

Bitcoin will not get affected by any incident happening around because it has survived through each and every critical crisis and as we see in the past that as conflict between America and Korea was aroused but there will be no effect on the coin price and this situation will be continued now it has become unstoppable and people will give it prosperity and progress as the time passes so hope for best.

We have already a lot of disasters but mainly placed only in some part of the world. If we had a huge disaster(what i also don't whish) then it would be maybe strong increase? or decrease? It is very hard to say, because the huge disaster for you may be the small for someone else...
It all have a weigh with crypto users. By the way I think that the crypto would still grow, because decentralization would provide access to network even during war or natural disaster.
We should always hope for the best but at the very same time we need to prepare ourselves for the worst. In case of some global disaster, things will not remain the same as they are right now. Each and every one of us will be affected with that. There are likely chances that the worth of bitcoin will be greatly decreased by that time. There will be a lot of hustle around the world and everyone will be least bothered about bitcoin.

Depends on which country that got hit by big wars or natural disaster. If big wars on big countries such USA, China and Japan, it will be big. It will affect the price of bitcoin for sure, i'm not sure about natural disaster though. Bitcoin users will think it's just a normal thing but big wars will be different.
Totally depending on the type disaster as in past the china banned bitcoin that effect the bitcoin market a bit but bitcoin successfully survived through that crises situation now bitcoin is used to the such kind of time laps so I don’t think so that anything will effects its value anymore and if its top consumer countries will stay peaceful bitcoin will go far beyond the progress limit so hope that things will stay at peace.

At any point one cannot oppose the nature. If something is to happen, surely it happens. Sometimes due to the innovation that human minds have made the vigorous disasters can be delayed. So, surely global disaster will have some impact upon the global economy which at some point surely affects the bitcoin too, in terms of value.

Yes it is very hard to oppose the nature but with the passage of the time the bitcoin value will increase more and more, it is the time of the new age and the bitcoin is increasing more and more if you will deny to use the bitcoin you will see how fast the bitcoin value will be and how fast it will increase in the future I am sure the bitcoin will help a lot of the people in future. We will try to make it more and more popular.

I don't think that global disaster would affect bitcoin value. Bitcoin will move on its own course.

I think that it would decrease because when a global disater happens many users will die of bitcoin. This means that their coins will lost and people will stop focusing on trading and investing.

So with all this happening every coin will go down very easily because life is more important in this situation.

Not easy to tell but if the disaster would also limit the access to fiat money then probably the Bitcoin value would increase. But that also depends on the way that disaster would impact the Bitcoin infrastructure like internet and electricity. But in the case of global disaster the first thought of every human being on this earth would be how to save the life and then everything else.

I think it will depend on what the disaster is if it has something to do with the nature i do not think it will affect it at all but if it as something to do with the economy than even bitcoin could be attacked by it and the price could go down.

Bitcoin value is highly unstable, any news or rumors affect its price and so if case arises like global disaster or war. There will be a dip in the price as market and investors will be completely focused upon the effects of war, further events like this can reduce the usage of Bitcoin to greater extent. But issues like this are highly unpredictable and one can expect a sudden up and down in the market as it can create a panic in the market.

When it comes to natural global disasters people wont really mind off on their money or any has value and would rather save their own lives first than on securing all of the assets they do have. Price or value of bitcoin wont really be affected unless if theres no internet which would really cause that there would be no transaction happen which means bitcoin would lost its value.
