Because BBQ coins are a comical twist on bitcoin, I think more people will accept them rather than those new ripoff spamcoins that are trying to be taken seriously. Cough, feathercoin, cough

Imagine what would happen to the btc-e trollbox if they started supporting BQC

~15M BBQCoins COULD exist, no telling how many were lost in the initial release.

IIRC there is NO coin limit, this is a fixed supply velocity cryptocurrency (meaning coins are always created at the same rate) which will result in an inflation rate that approaches 0% over time. ~22M coins are mined each year, which means you will have to buy/mine 220K/year to Winklevii it.

I was waiting at a customer services station at Asda when a woman in front of me was returning a disposable barbeque.  When asked why she was returning the barbeque, she replied, 'There was no meat in in it.'

The shop assistant patiently explained that the disposable barbeque was simply to cook the meat and it did not include any food.  Whereupon, the customer looked very embarrassed indeed.
